Easily one of the best bagels I’ve had. The bagels are super fresh and the texture is doughy and delicious. Great selection of different toppings. Their cold brew was good. If they got an espresso machine and also offered a variety of coffee drinks along with their bagels it would make the place even better. We went twice back to back while on our trip to Heavenly. The guy who took our order the first time in the afternoon was a lot friendlier than the 7am crew the next morning but we were just happy to have another bagel bfast :)

What a special find! Wife and I made a game time decision and headed over for some bagels 🥯. Dragonfly did NOT disappoint. We were lucky to miss the last of the morning rush as their bagels are made IN HOUSE and we were lucky to get 2 of the remaining 6 or so bagels! I got the Kerfuffle on a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel, half of it shown in my pic. The other half was too good to stop and photograph 😋. 12/10 will comeback!

Cool little spot. Caitlin and her team are serving the best bagels in town. You cannot beat them. I love the hammy add an egg on an everything bagel, and my partner loves lox of love on a plain bagel. You really cannot go wrong with freshly made bagels. The bake goods they do pre-order for 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Hi we are visiting from from Monterey, CA. We ordered online using the website and picked it up in store.The store was very welcoming and homey. We were greeted immediately by the nice man behind the counter.On this visit we got the breakfast bagel with egg, cheese and cream cheese, and the lox of love. We requested the lox of love with no onions, it still came on it but we didnt mind. Both sandwiches were delicious and we have no complaints.The breakfast bagel was yummy and we will definitely come back here because the bagels were very tasty. There been to some bagel shops around that the bagels are very bland but Dragonfly Bagel Co bagels were spot on! Props to the baker who makes them.

Im a Reno local, who came up last night for my friends music show. This morning before heading back down the hill, I wanted to have breakfast with my friends but on a Sunday there were long waits everywhere. I found this bagel shop tucked away near the DMV and was amazed how good everything tasted! The Ultimate breakfast bagel was fresh and delicious. I also tried the blueberry muffin and it had big fresh blueberries in it, which didnt make the muffin overly sweet. The staff were super friendly, which always helps on a busy Sunday in South Lake. I look forward to coming back and trying something else!

Delicious bagel sandwiches! Bagels are more bread-like texture than typical NY style bagels however. Very cute interior but super busy on a Sunday morning. We waiting about 20 minutes for our food. Also, be aware the only coffee options are regular coffee and cold brew, no lattes or espresso. Overall would recommend.

Delicious and fresh bagels, perfect before a day of skiing. Placed a pickup order easily. Lots of customizations available. Great coffee too.I also left behind a personal item and the owner was quick to respond and went out of his way to coordinate the return. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Hands down the best bagel I’ve ever had. I am not a bagel lover and don’t typically eat them but this may have changed my mind though I’m not sure I can eat any other bagel after this.The texture was pure heaven. First time coming here. The prices arent too bad, ranging from $7-$12 depending on what bagel you get. You can customize your bagel any way you like. The staff here are EXTREMELY welcoming and polite! Probably one of the nicest staff at any restaurant weve been too.I got the Ultimate Breakfast bagel (on a spicy garlic bagel) and my wife got the Greeny (on the garlic Parmesan bagel). We both loved them! I would definitely come back again!

Was paralysed by the choices here but the server was friendly and understanding. Overall this place is not busy at all, and has great fulfilling bagel sandwiches... Honestly one the best bagel spots we’ve ever been to and we LOVE bagel spots! The workers are really nice and welcoming and their bagel sandwiches are freaking awesome! If you’re in the area, you should definitely give this spot a shot but get here at a reasonable time because they make all of their bagels in house, so supplies are limited!

Stopped in to grab a bagel on my way to a hike. Staff were polite and helpful. The wait was 20 minutes for one bagel. There were only two other parties in there waiting. The sandwich was solid but nothing exceptional. Based off of the wait I probably would be hesitant to come back. I saw a couple people ordered ahead of time and picked up. That might be the move if time is a factor.

My husband and I ordered ultimate breakfast sandwiches. The bread itself tasted great and freshly made, but there was virtually no bacon and very little egg on either of our sandwiches. It was more of an avocado and cheese sandwich. We are shocked this place has such high reviews, but I guess if you only want a bagel with cream cheese it would be fine. Definitely wouldn’t recommend an egg sandwich here though.

This review is (mostly) not about the food, clearly there are a lot of great reviews about that. This is about the service. We were the only people in the shop, ordered, and waited 15 mins to get our bagels (bagels with cream cheese, nothing extra or fancy). The girl assembling bagels does not wear gloves, she is touching all the bagels with bare hands so be aware of that if that sort of thing disgusts you (which it should). Then she put our bagels in to go bags and set them on a shelf at the back of the food prep area and they sat there for five minutes before another girl came out from the back, grabbed them, and called our name. Please address all of the above and improve your service. And please please require anyone doing food prep to wear gloves. A stranger touching my bagel with bare hands isn’t sanitary.Edit to add: when we got to our destination this morning and sat down to eat our bagels, both had the wrong cream cheese on them, despite us repeating our orders twice each. So this place missed the mark on almost every level. At least the bagel itself was good. But every other above issue ruins the experience. There are better bagel options in town, we’ll stick with those.

We stopped here for breakfast. Its a small bagel shop with indoor and some outdoor seating. Has a locals spot feel which we really liked. The bagel breakfast sandwiches we had were phenomenal. Crunchy exterior, excellent flavoring, and inside texture. We tried the eveything and poppy seed for our sandwiches. They may look on the smaller side, but super filling. They bake a limited quantity of each type so they may be out of something if you stopped by too late.The coffee options were nothing too fancy but you come here for the bagels, they are what make the place!

Quick working trip to tahoe staying at the Azure nearby. We decided to place an online order for pickup the next morning to nosh while WFH(work from hotel!) and it was the best decision! I had the firecracker with hot cheeto dust and bacon, while my hubby had the beach bunny with lox and Capers. Both were excellent sandwiches! Im sure the bagels are mediocre for a west coast bagel shop (and thats a positive) and its not that the service i received was rude, but these folks are on a different planet when it comes to their idea of reasonable service. 1) you shouldnt run out of everything bagels at 9am, especially when the shop is visibly empty and 2) it shouldnt be 20 minutes until you get your food.If I was in the know I would have ordered online and in advance but come onnnn.Take a trip to New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania - youll notice hustle, effort and a little bit of systems thinking. Embrace and implement that.One thing I did appreciate was that she told me how long it would take - for that I am grateful.

Little hard to find inside Sidellis Brewery, but once inside...you’re in for a treat! The service was great and the recommendation on ordering the Dragonfly was fantastic. I got it on an Everything bagel, which was one of the last of the morning. The bagel was the star of the show, but don’t forget about the fresh avocado, heirloom tomato, diced jalapeños, onion, and hot bacon were amazing. A must stop if you are in South Tahoe!!!!

I walked in at 10:30 am to order coffees while my wife picked up breakfast burritos at the restaurant next door. I noticed 5-6 people inside enjoying items from the menu as I approached the counter. The employee at the counter promptly said Were closed, as she walked away from the counter. I was a bit taken back, but decided to simply return to the car and wait for my wife. As I waited 2 cars, 4 people entered and were served? I then walked in and attempted to order thinking something changed, and they reopened? I approached the counter and was told coffee wouldnt be ready for 15 minutes, and theyre out of espresso. I motioned to the four people who were just seved, including a coffee beverage. On March 8, 2023, my daughter got married and I cant thank Dragonfly enough for their stepping in and helping my daughter and now son-in-law have a venue for their wedding. Very last minute due to heavy snows causing road closures making it impossible to get to their planned venue but Dragonfly stepped up and made it possible! The wedding turned out to be fantastic and I know my wife is posting pictures that should be viewable on Dragonflys Face Book page. Speaking as a native New Yorker who knows bagels(!) I can honestly say their bagels are excellent. We took a dozen home with us and are enjoying them with a shmear of cream cheese, lox, capers and onions. Best bagels weve had this side of the Rockies since leaving the east coast. Thanks again Dragonfly! We will be back next time we are in South Lake Tahoe

Our first time in South Lake Tahoe and we picked this place to grab breakfast and it was a pleasure to order. EJ helped us and was an absolute joy to chat with while we were indecisive about wanted. They have a great selection of bagels and they are made fresh every morning. Although we visited during COVID restrictions and were unable to eat inside, it’s an absolute beautiful place to grab some food. I recommend stopping here if you are ever in the area to grab a bite.

I love this place. Roads shut down, and I wasnt able to get to my wedding venue. They graciously offered their space for my new husband and I, and we will be forever grateful. Saw all of the 5 star reviews on Google and knew we had to try it out! As someone who loves Bagels and cream cheese this place had one of the best Bagels Ive had. They have a selection of standard and specialty style Bagels all of which sounded amazing as well as a couple different types of cream cheese. We ended up getting the Poppyseed/Sesame Bagel as well as the Spicy Garlic Herb Bagel. Both of which tasted amazing and had a generous spread of cream cheese. Other than the Bagels the service was very friendly and outgoing and the vibe/environment inside is chic, simple, and warm. Definitely a great stop for a quick bite or to hang out and relax before heading out for the day!

This place seems like its not busy enough for the quality of food and service. The hammy Bagel sammich was delish. They toasted the Bagel to my perfect preference, where its definitely warm but still soft and fluffy when chewing. Got the oj as well, which was pretty good. Great service and happy there was no wait for me.

We went there on a Sunday mid morning for a quick breakfast. We ordered the onion bagels with cream cheese and pesto. To begin with the person at the counter was polite and cheerful and suggested a few combos to try too. The bagels were soft and fluffy generously filled with cream cheese and pesto. Wish we had other varieties too!Overall the place is quite and homely with great staff! Would like to visit again!

Easily the best Bagel I ever had. I never knew bagels could be this good. It was unreal. Had them on a Monday and we were sure we wanted to return the next day. But they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday and we were leaving Lake Tahoe on Wednesday. I hope it really isnt a case of doing something for the last time without even realizing u were doing it for the last time. I hope we return to Lake Tahoe some day and hope we have the Bagel here.And the staff - these guys are an example. This is how a staff should talk, behave and overall carry themselves in a restaurant of any capacity. Thank you guys for the one of the best breakfast I ever had.

I cant explain how much I loved their bagels. Perfectly soft and perfectly toasted. We ordered Parmesan garlic and tomato garlic with garlic cream to the side. The garlic cream cheese was so flavorful. 😋 their service is also excellent.This would be my go to place in Tahoe.

Absolutely fantastic! My husband got a plain bagel and a garlic parmesan and said they were the best bagels he’s ever had (and he grew up on New York bagels). I got the dragonfly sandwich and it was amazing! Definitely will come back when we’re in town again. Also, have to agree that the staff is the FRIENDLIEST.

They refused to sell two whole(uncut) bagels because they were low in stock and said they need to sell it with something on it. Felt very greedy. Guessing they don’t make a lot of money selling whole bagels but they shouldn’t inconvenience the customer because of that, Just put up a sign.

Spent Labor day weekend in Tahoe paddle boarding and hiking. Looking for breakfast our first morning, we found what would be our breakfast every morning.... 4 in all. EJ and everyone @ Dragonfly Bagel company put much love into their food, the Lox bagel sandwich was incredible! I ate several over the weekend. My wife enjoyed the Cheez It bagel several times. Cant wait to visit during our next trip to Tahoe.

And the couple who own it are so friendly and down to earth. Love the layout and interior design as well, very cozy. We’ll be here every time we visit Tahoe!

Excellent bagel place and looks fairly new. Service was good when we went. Bagels are a bit smaller than what youll find at other places but I really like the crunch. Interesting variety of flavors and excellent bagel sandwiches. They dont have espresso machine but they do have cold brew and hot brew coffees.

Bagels were fantastic, I got the Lox one with the cheese and tomato bagel. Wish I would have bought more to bring back with me. It had plenty of parking out front. Easy to get to from our hotel. Coffee was also very good. In side is pretty minimal and doesn’t look like a bagel shop. No bagels in a case to see. If you’re in South Lake Tahoe I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing breakfast. My wife and I stopped by here on our way out of Tahoe, and are wishing we had found it before the end of our trip, because we would have eaten here a lot more this past week. Stopped by to grab some bagels before hiking and really enjoyed the bagels, atmosphere, and the people. Brian was so helpful when we were looking at the menu and even gave us a list of his favorite hikes to check out. These people have really amazing variety of bagels.I am a vegetarian, and the person on the counter, after having realised that I won’t be ordering any meat in my bagels LITERALLY charged us half of the charges written, he was kind enough to understand that there is no need to pay for no meat bagels. We ate for 2 days in our 3 day trip here! And it is WORTH it.The first time, when they made a luttle mix up with our orders… they literally offered all of our bagels on the House!we obviously denied, but I mean thats some customer service. Located inside the cozy hotel lobby at Black Bear lodge. Homemade bagels fresh each morning. They have a tally sheet of how many of each left for the day. Once it’s gone it’s gone. Got the Ultimate on Tomato Cheddar and it was delicious. Excellent service from relaxed folks who were happy to be there.

This hidden gem, which is off the beaten path, should not be missed. Super friendly staff and amazing breakfast sandwiches. I recommend the Englishman on a tomato cheddar bagel. I also got to sit right next to 20 barrels of fermenting Sidellis beers... awesome! +1 will definitely be back.

Our family has a rule that we will never eat at a chain restaurant on vacation... or go to the same restaurant twice. Well we broke the second rule this weekend. 😂I have never had such a deliciously fluffy bagel in my life! I opted for the dragonfly breakfast sandwich which included cream cheese, avocado, chopped bacon, jalapeño, tomato and red onion.My super picky ten year old devoured a cinnamon bagel with Nutella. 😍Also the staff and owner were so down to earth.I wish they were down in the Bay Area: I would be there every day!

This place needs to get their act together. We walked up and was turned away being told we had to order online due to business levels. We placed an order online and when we came back to pick up, the same girl was taking walk up orders at the window. Both our bagels we requested toasted, neither were. One of the bagels we paid for added onion and tomato which was missing. They gave us our food and we had to ask for the OJ we had ordered. Literally did everything wrong. The bagels were good and healthy portions of toppings, to bad the service was so poorly done.

When I went they had no multigrain or wheat option, which is surprising, and they served in a to-go box vs a plate, and no forks or knives were offered. Hard to find... but worth looking for! I hiked about a mile in the snow today and almost lost hope. Someone told me its in the Blue Angel Cafe! So glad I didnt stop looking.
