2023-07-02 07:38:44This is my favorite dumpling place in the Bay Area, good quality and value, filling is good amount and firm with good flavor. I also love their tofu dishes: both mapo tofu and golden crispy tofu are great, we almost buy them every time sometimes just to pack it to go and eat later :)We love their Shanghai pan fried buns too, have not tried their bentos (they have a very big menu!)

2023-12-05 22:29:49Beautiful hand made dumplings, if you have family visiting make sure you bring them here to experience some delicious Chinese cuisine. They have many traditional dishes and its a great place to introduce your family to our vast selection of cuisines here in the bay. Make sure to try the green onion pancakes.

2023-10-16 04:09:54This restaurant is a decent dumpling place, truly living up to its name as a Dumpling restaurant. Their noodles and seasoning arent overly oily, spicy, or overwhelmingly flavored. However, Chinese dishes might still be a bit greasy, but its much more restrained here compared to other places. The prices are acceptable, albeit slightly on the higher side. The portion sizes for each dish are reasonable. Its a place Id want to revisit.

2023-05-06 21:34:02Do NOT come to this place so I can come whenever I want without a crazy amount of people. We were nearby, so we came for lunch to try, and don’t even PLAY WITH ME!We ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice, Cantonese Shrimp Dumplings, Fresh Cucumber Salad, BBQ Pork Buns, Pork Potstickers, Shanghai Pan Fried Soup Dumplings, and the Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Noodles. For Chow Mein and the Mapo Tofu Noodles, they offered hand made noodles for $1 up-charge, so we got that! Don’t judge us, we’re sampling everything, duh.Everything came out at a great speed, and everything was incredible! We were dissociating from how good everything was. The dumpling options have so much flavor, are juicy, and the dough and filling ratio is perfect. The Pork Potstickers are so juicy, they honestly could label them as soup dumplings. The entrees with the handmade noodles were amazing as well, it definitely had a perfect texture, and the Chow Mein had incredible flavor, no need for additions. The Mapo Tofu Noodle was incredibly flavorful aswell, and the spice was so interesting. Not too spicy where you can’t taste anything, but still a satisfying kick. The Cucumber Salad was phenomenal aswell, everything was so balanced, it was perfect.Overall, everything was incredible, the flavors were perfectly balanced, not oily at all, and perfectly seasoned. The service was great too, the front house woman was very sweet. This spot is small but mighty, they’re knowledgeable in dumpling and noodle making, even making it next door where you can see. This place is super underrated, 10/10 coming back!

2022-08-01 03:51:26You can find all sorts of dumplings, from northern Chinese to southern Chinese style. Xlb and pan fried soup dumplings are not the most authentic, but they are okay. I believe the dumplings are freshly made. Its a good everyday restaurant, nothing fancy.

2023-05-13 21:11:05Not a bad place but food is just OK. Dumpling skin is not chewy enough and XLB tastes like dumpling than XLB. The beef pan cake on the other hand was relatively better.

2022-05-17 07:01:31I love trying new dim sum places and this place caught my eye. Its off to the side in a small unassuming lot with limited parking. We had to try their XLB (soup dumplings), which had a nice chewy exterior, savory soup broth and tasty dumpling. Pair with ginger, soy sauce and a bit of vinegar, yumm. Also tried the pan fried dumplings and I really liked the crispy bottom and generous portion of green onions. The cucumber salad with peanuts was refreshing and so good, I could munch on that all day! Finally the Dan Dan noodles, which had a thick noodle and were mildly spicy was alright.Everything came out quick, hot and fresh which if youre hungry like we were, is much appreciated. Prices were fair and the water refilled quickly. They had a very mom and pop feel with a nice presentation and a large menu with an option to order frozen dumplings as well. Will be back for sure 😋🥟🥢

2021-11-19 01:03:34Nice Chinese place with good food and reasonable prices. Service is super fast and friendly. Our meals came less than in 10minutes after we ordered which is absolute record for the restaurants I was last year or so(:: KungPao Chicken was top notch. Spicy, savory, good balance between meat and veggies. Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Rice bowl wasn’t so impressive. Too much rice, less spicy that made the taste kinda bland. But overall experience was good. I should try their dumplings if I will be there again (:

2022-09-24 09:44:34So I have not tried dumplings/bao except for Chow King and I loved that, but this place has so many varieties of combined meats with veggies in steamed dumplings and steamed buns. They are smaller in size but an order of 6-8 are about $10-$12 very flavorful and fresh decent amount of filling especially the meat inside. Had their chow mein and it was DELICIOUS! Couldnt stop eating it! We also had their hot and sour soup, huge bowl! I loved it! It was not at all bland, a little more in the spicy side but for about $10-$11 it is so much soup with added filling including meat! So good! Two orders of dumplings, chow mein, soup, and two drinks was around $50, very reasonable and we took home leftovers so will order a little less next time and will probably cost about $40, great service, parking may be tricky on busy days but neighborhood allows more street parking so its not bad.Highly recommend!
