I’m often picky about the soup dumplings as a Chinese, but I have been impressed and think this is the one of the best soup/pan fried dumpling spots in the bay. The dumplings have great presentation and have so much soup that they were too heavy to be picked up by the chopsticks. The decor is modern and clean. Another bonus is that service is also great. Give some patience as they just opened. We were chatting with the servers and they are definitely great people and willing to listen to your feedback when it’s not crazy busy.

Delicious dumplings. delicate fried and steamed soup dumplings are an absolute must. the pan fried garlic chives and shrimp turnovers had a delicate flaky crust. okra with 🧄 was sublime.

Welcome to Oakland! Love everything we ordered. Chicken Xiao long bao, green onion pancakes and beef noodle soup, they are all very delicious and comforting ;)

I love a good dumpling venue!!!! However this is not the one.Didn’t care for this one. They are very stingy with napkins, water refills and condiments in general. I was bypassed when the server gave out water. Very cold restaurant!!! The sticky chicken appetizer did not come until I completed my meal and so had to remind the server to give it to me. Then it has an excessive amount of honey and batter. I know why!!!! Chicken was old. I told the waitress that 1 piece was old but it was too hot to test the rest plus I had an appointment. The noodles with chives and ginger were good. The fried dumpling was very greasy and not drained but yummy. Small red dish was dirty and the waitress just wiped it out instead of providing a new one. She was not friendly until it was time to pay the bill and tip. Before then she didn’t understand what I was saying.Too bad!!!!

The service was great here! My girlfriend has severe sesame allergies and the waiter made sure that everything we ordered was good to eat. It all tasted very authentic and the 生煎包 was delicious! Thank you!!

Best Xiao Long Bao I’ve had in America - super thin skin, juicy, tender, perfect flavor. The dumplings rivaled the best ones I’ve had in China and Taiwan. Service is fast and friendly. If you’re in Oakland make sure you try this spot.

Ah a new specialty food place in Oakland. Now I dont have to go to Fremont or Union City and get din ding dumplings.Pork XLB surprised me as it was sweet. No slimy sour aftertaste.Pan fried dumplings are up to par with the specialty shops in fremont.Sauteed string beans needs improvement. Its too wet of a dish but the flavors are there.I would come back and go here instead of going to Fremont for my XLB fix.Also they offer phone ordering for dine in. They will print your receipt out and place on your table. Thats how you know your order went thru.

The most delicious dumpling I have ever eaten, you can see the handcrafting on site, the restaurant looks new and the atmosphere is great, it will be a new place to eat in the future! love it!

Absolutely loved this new dumpling spot! So glad they opened up here in our neighborhood, will definitely be back soon! The Xiao Long Bao were amazing, and I was really surprised by the delicious chicken wings!
