Went here for lunch…. food came quick and service was great. The food for the most part was really good, I wish that the shrimp toast would have had more shrimp as I was practically just eating a piece of toast, but none the less, great taste on all the food items. I would say personal favorite were the pork Bao buns. Also the lychee lemonade was phenomenal. Overall, 4.6/5

Ignore the angry 4% people... this place is WORTH it!!!We visited on Christmas eve and it was packed. Despite this we were seated quickly and the food came fast and fresh. We tried eight different menu items and everything was spot on. I highly recommend the shrimp toast and chili pork dumpling. The employees were working very hard and were very attentive to any needs we had as well. We left with four very happy and full bellies. Definitely recommend!!

Good food. Good service. I have had better dumplings. Location is nice, in the Lot. Worth trying once. Drinks are good. Service was good.

Pricey but elevated food. Not as good as the SF location but better than the Santana Row one. I would skip the fancy trendy options and go straight for the basic dumpling options which they do very well. Food is 4/5, but Desiree who helped me and my friend out at the bar was super friendly and bumped our experience up to a 5/5.

Edit: I wanted to add that the dessert buns trio was really good! My favorite was the egg yolk bun which surprisingly tasted almost like a vanilla cupcakes but in bun form. I wish they sold the flavors separately, but they were all good! Didnt get a photo because we ate them too quickly. We ordered the steamed Bao BBQ prok, Xiao Long Bao, and Garlic Green Beans. Everything was delicious! And the service was great, we were seated quickly, and the food came out just minutes after placing the orders. Ricky checked on us several times and was patient with us while we looked over the menu. Another person checked up on us also as we were finishing up.The bun on the Bao wasnt overly thick and it was very fresh, the pork was flavorful.Soup dumplings were inside little foil cups which was kind of odd, and it was hard to get them out, which caused the wrap to break and the soup spilled out. Otherwise, they tasted great to me.The garlic green beans were my favorite! Crunchy and well balanced with the garlic flavor and a little tiny kick of spice (very tiny). They have a full bar with drinks, although we didnt try them, nothing on the menu looked appealing to me.We would come back again if craving bao, although I think it would be nice to have more dumpling options. The menu feels limited and a bit pricey for the few options.

My friends and I were in the area and remembered that Dumpling Time had opened recently. We figured wed go and try the place out. It was a busy day and there was a long line. After a wait and a little mix up with our party being skipped over, we were finally seated. We ordered our food and hoped for the best!We got the shrimp toast first. It was a chinese donut with shrimp. We thought it had very little shrimp at all. Barely tasted it so it didnt have much flavor as a whole. Next was the lobster siu mai. It had great lobster flavor, was a good size, and juicy! Then the wagyu beef gyoza came. I had high hopes for this one but I didnt feel like there was anything wagyu about the meat at all. It was dry and really needed soy sauce and vinegar to moisten it and add flavor. The chili pork dumplings came next and they were ok. The spice from the Thai chilis really carried the dish. Finally, the soup dumplings came. The regular XLB was ok. Not the best, not the worst. I was really impressed with the tom yum XLB! The coconut milk was delicious and I thought it was a refreshing take on soup dumplings!Overall, I thought Dumpling Time was ok at best. Most of the dishes I had were fine, not great. The service also left a lot to be desired. The servers were quick to get the orders out but no one checked in on us and trying to get the check at the end took way more time and effort than needed. I cant say for certain Id come back but definitely not impossible.

First time here and with a table of 5 we were able to get a table right away without reservations before the lunch rush.Favorites were the Shrimp Toast, Crispy Tofu Squares, and Chicken Gyoza. They were all crispy and flavorful. Loved the uniqueness of the ground shrimp on the Chinese Donut. Shrimp Toast is usually made with white bread. The Beijing Noodles didn’t have a powerful taste. It was light. The XLB and Tom Yum Goong had a light flavored soup inside and the skin was too thick compared to places like Din Tai Fung and Dumpling 85.The service was exceptional and I would come back to eat my favorites and try out other dishes.

High-end locally sourced ingredients stuffed into all forms of dumplings? On a rainy Sunday afternoon? Yes please. Had the Garlicky Green Beans, Spicy Pickled Cucumbers, Pork Gyoza, and the Seared Pork Bao. I wanted to LOVE it, ended up just liking it. Everything is so small that you barely can taste the quality fillings. The Bao was micro-bao and I ended up having to load it with chili oil for some flavor. Food arrived lukewarm and the place was pretty dead for a weekend. BUT it wasnt a loss at all, I did enjoy the food. The service was kind and attentive. Out of everything the pickles and green beans were my favorite. Id definitely suggest ordering 6-8 plates for two. Overhead for the location must be driving the prices. With Sand Harbor and other really good Dim Sum spots close by I dont know if they can stay open as things sit. Would love to see some volume added to the plate ups. Would love to see some more value filler items added to the menu. Highend cafeteria feel.

Very disappointed. Went on MLK evening for dinner, arrived at 630pm and was quickly seated. Ordered Shrimp Toast, it has too much dough and very little shrimp. XLB totally failed, the skin is too think that it is soggy. BTW, each order has only 6 pieces and costs $11, it is more expensive than DTF, are you insane? Vegan Fried Rice with Chicken has fried chicken on the side, fusion style? And it has a very non traditional taste. Pork Gyoza stick together too much and not crispy. Crispy Sesame Tofu Square has no sesame taste at all. Dont waste your money. Service is good and this worth one star for it. I will never go back to this place. Not to mentioned the 4% living wages charge. This is not fair.
