Food tastes fantastic! Fried rice is NYC style with bits of egg and veggies. Fast and friendly service with a gorgeous decor. Packaged our left overs for us. Super kid friendly and plenty of parking.

This place was amazing. I’ve lived in Santa Cruz for a long time and somehow never been. The service was a little disorganized but the food was delicious. The price is also great and the portions are big! We got the chicken chow mein, kung pao chicken, and tofu. All were yummy.

The Mongolian Beef and Combination Fried Rice were very good. We also enjoyed the cream cheese fried wantons. Good value we split the food between the both of us and left with a small portion leftover. Good food good service nice atmosphere and friendly staff! We will return to try different entrees!✌👍😃

The food was excellent, the best Chinese Ive had in ages. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was at our table in about 10 minutes after ordering. My only gripe is that it was so cold inside the restaurant. I had to keep my coat and scarf on while I ate. I was going to order a beer but the idea of drinking a cold brew in there was unpleasant enough.

Unfortunately we never got our order. I understand they were slammed as it was Christmas but they weren’t communicating with the dasher who was waiting on the order and eventually one gave up and another took on the job. We were being patient and willing to wait over and hour. We ordered at 5:23pm When we finally found out (at 2.5 hours after ordering) that they still hadn’t made our order we finally canceled! We won’t be trying again. I guess they lost our order or something.

Relaxing and quiet, crisply attentive wait staff. We had hot and sour soup (the big bowl is giant!), Egg rolls and Kung Pao chicken. The egg rolls were perfectly crisp on the outside with just the right amount of savory innards. The hot and sour soup was warmly spicy and not overly gelatinous. I liked the flavor of the Kung Pao chicken and in particular liked the small morsel size of the chicken chunks - it maximized the seared surface and flavor.

I ordered a decent amount of food only for this place to mess up an order. I ordered vegetable egg rolls and didn’t get that. I got meat egg rolls that reeked of cinnamon to the point where that’s the only flavor of that side dish that can be tasted. I paid so much money on good Chinese food only to be disappointed. I need a refund for what I paid for…

Very disappointed first off when I called in my order She had told me 15 minutes, I sat in the parking lot for those 15 went inside, she then said that my order couldnt be found, she proceeded to ask if it was door-dash, I then repeated to her that Im old fashioned and called it in and showed her on my phone what time I called, and at that time it already had been 25 minutes since I placed the order,she then found the order and told the kitchen to get it done ASAP. I finally got my order 40 mins after original call.The Egg foo yung seemed like it was McDonalds from the 70s, when they would have the burgers stacked up waiting to be sold, the fried rice was not fried it was steamed rice w/veggies added and Salt& Pepper Shrimp was just WRONG as in fluffy batter that was wet on the inside and the appetizer that comes with combo plate D-2 egg roll and two won-tons were old, and guaranteed the egg rolls are FROZEN, NO BUENO!!! IM NVR GOING BACK TO DYNASTY

Went for dinner on a Monday evening about 6. Food was good one star off for inattentive service. Beautiful aquarium at the entrance with South American and Asian Cichlids with a fry tank above, cool to check out if you appreciate fishes.

We went three times to this restaurant and the food was always great, the attention was excellent and the most important thing for us was that it was very clean. The bathrooms were spotless and didnt have any spiderwebs in the ceiling as we always find in the most expensive restaurants.Hoping that they maintain those standards always

Its alright. We always went to Guang Szho, but since Sophia left, its just not the same. Dynasty will do in a pinch for neighborhood Chinese. Its not amazing, but not terrible either.

This was my favorite chinese restaurant for years. Tonight I called to place an order and the girl that answered put the phone down and forgot about me. I hung up 4 minutes into the call and placed my order online. They called me back to get my credit card because their app doesnt run payments. Its now 8:50 PM, an hour after my expected delivery time and I had to call them to find out theyd forgotten about my order and it will be another 15 minutes. I feel like Im being reasonable with my rating. Food is good, they are super nice people and Ill continue to support them. Patience is a virtue.

I dont usually give bad reviews. But I have to be honest and share my experience.The staff was very nice.The food had a very odd flavor. It was a consistent flavoring on all the food. It made everything taste horrible. I had three bits and I was done. Not to mention little black flies where everywhere. I will not be going back!

This is the best Chinese food weve ever had.My husband and I both agree on this we had the shrimp fried rice which is the best Ive ever had and I had the chicken and broccoli which had garlic and it was cooked perfectly the chicken was tender not one piece tough the broccoli was cooked perfect, the sauce delicious. My husband had the lemon chicken and it was perfect. We had to see the cooks and thank them personally. Were on vacation and only here 2 weeks but were going to come back again next week because it was that good!

This place had good reviews? The food for the most part was terrible! The vegetables were uncooked, the egg rolls had cinnamon or something that tasted like it, and the fried wonton so were hard. I hate to give a bad reviews but this was beyond bad! Sorry, not sorry!

Great place for takeout. They are super fast, deliver is free (must have order over $20), and their food is really tasty. I enjoyed the Kung pao tofu with vegetable dumplings. Both were delicious!

This was our first visit to Dynasty. We ordered wonton soup, Mushu pork, broccoli beef, and combination chow fun. It was definitely the best wonton soup I have ever had. The broccoli beef was average and the chow fun was pretty fabulous. The only reason I did not give five stars is because we specifically asked for a little extra plum sauce with our Mushu pork which we did not receive.Service ok, wait time very low, prices are good.

The food was excellent, but some of the vegetables we ordered were a tad to salty. The workers were extremely nice, and they even told us the main attractions were not in Santa Cruz, but that they best beach available was in Monterey. They went so far as to recommend us that we go to Monterey for the night, and to visit there Monterey location. The furniture was also very authentic. When we asked the workers about it, they said they had imported it from China.

Walking distance and close to Pleasure Point. Hard to find good Chinese restaurants in SCZ. We regularly have their sizzling rice soup, Chinese chicken salad, and steamed fish with green onions and ginger. All pretty good by our standards. And they opened another restaurant in Monterey or Pacific Grove.
