2023-12-05 15:11:32Firstly, the course itself is a beauty. The stunning views of the surrounding vineyards are a feast for the eyes, making each hole a picturesque experience. Its the kind of scenery that reminds you why you love golf - the blend of sport and nature at its finest. However, the driving range was a bit of a letdown. Its short and, notably, doesnt allow drivers. This was a bit restrictive and didnt allow for a full warm-up experience, which is something I look forward to at any course. The most challenging aspect of the day, though, was the pace of play. It was incredibly slow. After 5 1/2 hours, we had only reached the 14th hole. This snails pace was frustrating, especially since we had other plans and unfortunately had to leave early. Its disappointing when you cant finish a round, especially on such a beautiful course.Another surprising aspect was the infrequency of the golf cart service. During our prolonged time on the course, the cart only came by once. This lack of service was a bit inconvenient, as we were hoping for more opportunities to grab snacks or drinks, especially given the longer-than-expected round. In summary, Eagle Vines Golf Course offers stunning views and a great golfing environment, but the experience was dampened by the slow pace of play and limited driving range facilities. Its a course with great potential, but these issues might be something to consider if youre planning a visit, especially if youre on a tight schedule.

2023-11-24 20:07:33Eagle Vines Golf Club: A Scenic Napa GemEagle Vines Golf Club, nestled amidst the rolling hills and lush vineyards of Napa Valley, proved to be an unforgettable golfing experience. As a first-time golfer in the US, I was thrilled to embark on this scenic adventure, and Eagle Vines did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and vines. The verdant landscape, dotted with picturesque wineries, served as a stunning backdrop for our round. As if the scenery wasnt enough, we were also fortunate enough to spot a majestic eagle soaring overhead, adding a touch of wildlife magic to our day.The course itself proved to be a challenging yet enjoyable test of our golfing skills. The opening hole, a long par-4 with water hazards guarding the green, set the tone for the round, demanding accuracy from the very first swing. However, as we progressed through the course, the fairways became less narrow and more forgiving, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.Despite the forgiving nature of the course, we were warned to stay clear of the vines that lined the fairways. As one of our group discovered, once a ball ventured into the vines, it was lost forever. The greens, while slightly worn due to the weekend traffic, were in good condition and rolled true. The pace of play was a bit slow, as expected for a weekend round, but it didnt dampen our spirits. We savored the leisurely pace, taking in the scenery and enjoying the camaraderie of our group.Overall, Eagle Vines Golf Club provided an exceptional golfing experience. The combination of stunning scenery, a challenging yet forgiving course, and well-maintained greens made for an unforgettable day. Whether youre a seasoned golfer or a beginner like me, Eagle Vines is a must-play destination for anyone visiting Napa Valley.

2023-10-09 23:28:30Really good course layout with lots of variety and challenges. The views were unbeatable. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helped us when we got there. 5 star course, but somethings lowered it for me personally. There was an iron-only driving range which was good to warm up on.The fairways were wide (especially if your a Brit!) and in great condition. Greens were in good condition, although some were had old pitch marks not repaired or hadn’t been cared for.If I was picky, some of the course felt somewhat over-watered in places.I think it was slightly unfair to be full price with a lot of bunkers under repair too. Especially if you’re in a group that go in them a lot!The halfway house was good value. It could have been stocked a better with no pescatarian or vegetarian sandwich/hotdog options available as they’d run out of tuna (only other option). Ended up buying ham sandwich and removing the ham. It’s a shame the clubhouse restaurant closed so early at 5pm on a Saturday. After taking just over 6 hours to get round, a drink would have been nice.Overall, fun course, unreal views and friendly staff.

2023-02-18 02:50:39This is a great course. The layout is fun and challenging, but also boasts some beautiful holes. The front 9 has you winding through vineyards, crossing St. Andrews like bridges, all while getting some amazing views of the valley. The back 9 has less vineyards but some amazing holes. The one I like best is the island par 3. Challenging, but fair still. The greens and in great shape, and the practice areas are also nice. You cant hit longer hitting clubs on the range, but it gets the job done when it comes to a warm up. I also really enjoyed the staff. Everyone from in the clubhouse, the cart girl, to the snack stand attendant. The price isn’t too steep either, so with all that said, I’d highly recommend checking this place out.

2023-07-15 22:27:33Beautiful and great location, fun and challenging design. However badly in need of new tee boxes through out, it’s like teeing off on the moon.

2023-08-25 19:47:25Amazing track had a blast. Greens were fast fairways lush staff was great. Liked it so much booked another day. Definitely will be back when I head down that way. Playing in the vineyards was fun the par 3 #14 was a blast Bogey the first day 20 mph winds pared day 2 with no wind Id say if your ever in Napa this should be the place to tee it up. A little over 6300 from the white tees.

2023-07-18 06:18:49The course is on a beautiful layout in wine country, and is fairly priced at the current $99 for a weekend prime time round. Greens are good to great. But they dropped the fees from 150 2 years ago because it lacks the upkeep (especially driving range, bunkers, tee boxes, the rough) to command 4-5 stars. However, play is much faster than the neighboring course, Chardonnay, which has too many weird holes that keep average golfers searching for their ball all day en route to a guaranteed 5+ hour round when it’s full.
