2023-08-15 00:27:16Casual tacos in a friendly outdoor vibe!East Beach Tacos seems to be a local favorite given the accessible pricing and informal ambience. I had good expectations going in and left happy. The guacamole and tacos were good, but the ceviche was truly the best of everything I tried here. While I appreciate the reasonable pricing and portions, the quality of the tacos wasn’t quite the best. I thought the proteins could have easily been seasoned better or made to be highlight of the tacos - instead, they were drenched in overpowering sauces and toppings to mask a fairly mediocre quality. Still good, but definitely room for improvement.Overall, a worthy spot for casual tacos and good vibes! Especially on a nice summer day!

2023-08-27 22:01:30East Beach Tacos have incredible tacos! You know when there is a consistent line to order, its going to be good.I had their triple play deal and I got the carne asada, chicken, and grilled shrimp tacos and they were so good. Incredibly fresh tortillas and ingredients. The are the perfect size, so that three fills you up. The side of chips and salsa is a nice little addition to your plate. Great presentation and the food comes out fast. Reasonable priced and nice outdoor seatingWe definitely will be back!

2023-08-14 01:34:36Interesting spot. Walk up taco stand in batting cage complex. The service is friendly at this busy little place. They do offer outdoor seating where you can eat and watch the batters. The tacos are good and well stuffed with ingredients. We ordered the triple play a choice of 3 tacos. Carne asada 4.5/5, Gangnam Style 4/5, and carnitas 4/5. Others had shrimp tacos 4/5 and fish and chips 4/5.

2023-06-17 21:06:36This place is an absolute banger. Dont worry if theres a line, the food is worth the wait and they make quick work of the queue. I got a beach ball and a spicy crispy shrimp taco and I cant stop thinking of either.

2023-06-11 23:36:10The enthusiastic reviews are not exaggerating. I had the batter up, tuna poke and carne asada tacos. Each it’s own flavor universe and perfectly balanced. If you don’t mind the traffic right beside and the totally uninspiring locale, eat the tacos on site. They are so fresh and perfect. No way to have them stay that way by the time you get home. And the hot sauce they provide on the side is absolute paradise. Not for the faint hearted, though.

2023-06-05 01:24:02Very delicious tacos with some interesting flavor options. We ordered the Gangnam Style, Carnitas and Grilled Fish. They were all tasty and flavorful. Out of the 3, the grilled fish was our favorite one. There was quite a line to order but service was fast and there are plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy.

2023-03-25 21:07:00A favorite amongst Santa Barbara locals, so, like most places here, its reviews are mostly 5 stars. SB could do much better in the food quality. East Beach is a solid choice. Do not look for a genuine Mexican taco here. This is much more American-Asian fusion tacos, and, of course, the majority are dressed in aioli. I loved that you could switch out your tortillas for lettuce, but the lettuce wrap is not doubled up enough to truly be handheld. I had the Gangnam Style, Ahi Poke, and The Banh Mi (steak, tuna, and pork, respectively). The Gangnam was my favorite of the three, but some of the steak was chewy. Tuna was fresh but mostly sesame- flavored. The salsa and other toppings were very well-flavored, and you get a small helping of chips on the side. East Beach also has a few alcohol options and lots of fun sides and other entree options. Definitely not just a taco spot. Lines can be long but move quickly. Overhead announcements are easy to hear. Good amount of seating. Parking is very limited but there is street parking within 2 blocks away. If you’re in the mood for beachy tacos rather than something authentically Mexican, East Beach is a solid choice.

2023-07-17 03:29:37Yes. Everything I had here far exceeded any expectations I had based off of all of these positive reviews. They are not lying! I had the Ahi Poke, Gangnam Style, and Spicy Crispy Shrimp tacos along with a loaded hotdog and all 4 items were superb. The quality of ingredients for the price (~$19 including soda) is astounding and every item is executed to perfection. I was expecting the food to take a while to make and used the batting cages next to the stand but was pleasantly surprised that my food took less than 4 minutes to get. Run don’t walk!
