I had the house soup! Large amount full of seafood and super good! Egg rolls were crispy and hot, two thumbs up! Then I had house fried rice. Large portions and delicious! I would highly recommend! We are truck drivers passing through and have book marked this place for next time we are in the area.

This place is NOTHING BUT AMAZING 👏. The food is delicious, absolutely delicious. The chicken wasnt dry, it was seasoned perfect and wet. Its wasnt soaked, it was just perfect. It like melts in your mouth . The chow main, perfect. It wasnt dry and thin like in panda, theres more chow main then the onions unlike panda. The service though was as good as the food, I didnt ask our servers name but he was nice, he made jokes and made our family laugh our butts off. I did see the bad reviews on this place but take my word for it, they are false. Food,service, atmosphere is amazing. 10/10 really recommend this place, its much better then any sushi or panda place Ive been at.

Since I love sweet, my favorite item of theirs is the mandarine shrimp which are coated in a clear, sweet glaze that is absolutely divine mixed into the pork fried rice and the chowmein slurped up alongside! Im an addict. The lunch plate is generous and reasonably priced. They get all five stars from me, just for this dish.

First time there - love the chow mein, so good! Quickly seated, food brought out quickly. Lunch portion was huge, and price ranged $8.00/plate. I chose the beef and green bean plate. My husband chose the general chicken. Both were fresh and great tasting. No complaints.

This is a great local-owned Chinese restaurant. They may not have a very diverse menu, but they consistently carry high quality dishes at affordable prices. Their lunch and dinner specials are very generous in portion sizes and are a decent price. During the pandemic its important to support our small local businesses.

My family and I have been going here for years. We made our 1st visit during their grand opening several years ago. Susan was our 1st waitress and has our kids 16, 13, & 11 names and she reminds us that she cant believe how big they are and how she remembers them through the years.The food here is really good. We have our favorites. Our youngest loves the soup. Everyone loves the Salt and Pepper Chicken. All the rice dishes are perfectly prepared. We all love the combo meals that come with individual grilling Sichuan Beef on sticks.We have brought family and friends here over the years. Its one place that many want to revisit again and again when they come to town. I highly recommend East Side Chef Restaurant.Thank you,Paul

Tried this restaurant a few days ago while visiting family, it was so good we have ordered 3 out of the last 5 days for dinner, I guess tonight will be the 4th. Coming from Indiana, it differs from the bland, cookie-cutter choices offered in my home town of Muncie. I have been going here for years. Use to be the best. But now there using some different kind of oil with their rice and Chow Mein... it taste terrible!!I dont know how they could have done this. I thought it was a fluke the 1st time so instead of the rice I ordered the chow Mein and it has that nasty oil taste there as well. So if it remains this way, I will not return. Such a bummer.

First time here. As a friend was treating dinner. Moo shu pork pre made and made into wraps just as advertised but needed more Hoisin sauce. Crispy Cantonese fried noodles as house special chow mein, well I guess it was a good attempt. Little of crispy as served with too much sauce softened the noodles. Unfortunately, I have begun to not like the sweet soy brown sauce that all these Chinese restaurants all think is great. It just makes no sense as its not authentic taste of Cantonese or Mandarin foods. Too much sweet sugar added so that Other folks may like. The fried shrimp appetizer was good with sweet and sour sauce.

Horrible service. I went out to dinner with my boyfriend and they were rushing us. We were still eating when the waitress came and started packing our food in boxes. My boyfriend still had the fork in his hand when she took the plate and she looked at me and asked if Im finished. I told her no and that I can pack my food on my own. Worst customer service ever and on top of that my boyfriends food was not even cooked throughly. It was hard to chew and the meat didnt look cooked at all.
