Ive eaten at here twice now, and the food is amazing and so authentic! Im really glad they serve 攸县米粉 (rice noodles from my parents region in China). I havent seen anywhere else in the United States that does it, and they make it so well: the broth is incredibly flavorful, the portion is generous, and the egg they include is just like my mom makes them.

The food was premade, I kinda got the feeling of that, because the speed here is crazy fast – they brought our food in 30 seconds or less after we ordered. Its unbelievably quick, and unfortunately, the food isnt great. It seems pre-made, not fresh, and lacks flavor. My advice: steer clear and avoid this place at all costs.

When the crab was brought to the table, I smelled a strong foul smell. Its very smelly, which means the carb is dead! Dead crab is poisonous and shouldnt be eaten by humans!

Food was very authentic, the service and ambiance was mediocre. We got our food five minutes after ordering it. I would definitely recommend this place for a true foodie. Be prepared for the spicy dishes.

Authentic Hunan cuisine according to Hunan people. Be aware of the heat but you can adjust the spiciness for each dish. Friendly and fast service.

Seriously incredible food, we ordered a fish dish, the hot and sour soup, green beans and a beef dish.Took my 87 year old grandma here for her birthday, the staff was so kind and brought out an incredible complimentary noodle dish and wished her a happy birthday - so sweet! They even helped us pack up out leftovers which almost never happens now a days.Seriously good food and wonderful service.Ordering on the iPad was very easy and intuitiveFood came out hot, fast and together.Portions were VERY generous and well worth the price, both my grandmother and I had leftovers for days.

They use tablets to order which is really nice. But none of the staff speak any English. I love spice and am usually the one at the table adding extra salt but every dish was so so salty it was hard to enjoy. Mostly everything is just way over salted and tons of cheap black pepper now much other seasoning. Seems very expensive for the quality. Over all disappointing and I wouldnt go back.

This place brings special memories to me. Surprisingly good food for a restaurant near campus. If you can handle spicy food, this is the place for you. Kung Pao chicken is excellent. For my family of 6, we are well fed for a bill of $150; not bad at all.

I tried a hot and sour soup, sometimes can be boring but I really liked what their chef made. Also a noodle dish and very tasty. I liked that their menu may not be as descriptive or as common as run of the mill Asian American because there were many more dishes I want to go back and try.

Amazing and authentic. A bit pricey but super tasty food. Felt like I was traveling again. Highly recommend the smoked beef with pepper, eggplant with pork garlic & cilantro, as well as the pork dumplings.

The food here was awful. The chicken was chopped up, bones and all, meaning that it was virtually impossible to eat without picking through bone and gristle. How much harder would it have been for them to either leave the chicken pieces whole, or use boneless pieces? The flavors were mediocre. And it was severely, ridiculously overpriced for what you got. Utensils were chopsticks (good) and plastic forks (not good), and rice in a container, not even on a plate. I would not recommend this place. On the plus side, the server was friendly.

Very nice staff, looks like a comfortable dining room, although I picked up take-out. Lots of very spicy hot dishes, one I got was good, but too hot for me to eat. :( The fried rice was the best! I hesitate to call it buttery, but thats what I was thinking. Also, the portions are huge. This one is now on my list.

Really tasty food that came out super fast. Service was also helpful with changing our order when we accidentally ordered the wrong thing. Also, the potluck style is a breath of fresh air in Berkeley. Finally, the portions were large and we didnt feel like we were missing out on food. Would definitely recommend if youre looking for a Chinese restaurant in the area!

Excellent good but confusing paper menus. Definitely use the tablet for ordering, as its actually organized. Cups and spoons were plastic, for those who care about it. Dishes are on the pricier side.

I work on the Southside of campus and usually go to Cheese N Stuff, Gypsys, or Super Duper Burger for lunch. Its usually between $8-$12. I decided to walk down to Center St because I had heard so much about this place from the international students I work with. I went with the Eggplant and Minced Pork Entrée. Big Mistake! It was majority eggplant and cilantro and the eggplant was covered in a bit of pork. Worst of all, it was $23 before tip and I didnt even order a drink!

Great location between BART station and UC campus. The food however was very disappointing. The taste was ultra salty and nothing else - none of the complexity we’ve come to expect of Chinese or Hunan food. The beef was not even cut professionally, and there was not a drop of vegetables in the bowl of noodles. And the price is not cheap.

Taste is not bad, above average. Waiter however has terrible service. Would not give extra cabbage even if we paid extra. So much soup and only 3-4 pieces of cabbage and the soup was like 20 dollars.

In general, food is good, but service needs improvements. Waiters response very slow to questions although they are not at all busy. Need water, wait for long time to get it and dont you wish to get an auto refill. For paying the bill you have to walk to counter to pay after told them that you want to pay and waited...

They overcharged the tips without my consent. Me and my friend ate ~$80 during lunch time. I signed and gave 12% tips but they overcharged me 18% tips! If I don’t check my credit card statement I would never know!

Chinese restaurant at Downtown Berkely station.I used it for dinner. The inside of the store feels like a Chinese restaurant.Order with a tablet.I didnt understand the amount of food at all from the picture, but there was quite a volume. I think that if you are alone, you will be quite full with one dish.You cant go wrong if you ask for a stir-fried dish.Noodles feel a little disappointing. It might be something like this...

I am very satisfied with this Chinese restaurant. The manager is very nice and friendly. Tasty food is the key. Stir-fried minced pork with sauerkraut, braised native chicken, and native chicken soup are all must-orders every time. I always come here for more meals. (There are parking spaces on the street at the front door and parking lots at the back door)
