I really enjoyed my lunch here. The salad 🥗 was very good 👍. I like that it came with the zesta crackers. The tuna sandwich was a delight. I also liked that it came with sliced pickles. The water and orange juice were all good. I would really recommend this sandwich for lunch here. If I am ever around this area again, I will come eat here again. I always appreciate the service restaurants give. Thank you. Hope you all have a good day everyday. 🙂

Great breakfast menu. My colleague ordered steak and eggs plate and ate it all. I got bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough with lettuce and tomato and the sandwich came out huge.The the waitresses helping us were super friendly and helpful.The interior is outdated and gives it a really authentic feel of old school diner.The restaurant is located in a sketchy part of town and may be little scary for tourists or anyone not familiar with the area

Travel back in time to an 80s diner. They have a generous variety of comfort food. Freshly pressed orange which does not cost much more than a choice. I only had the pancakes which were honestly not the greatest. They were too chewy for my taste. But I believe most of the food is good reading all the happy customers faces. Great rough and tough ambience topped with professional friendly staff. What a dramatic combination :-)

I eat here every weekend when I can and I can say the food and service is the BEST! It’s hard to find a regular breakfast spot around but I can truly say this place gives me and my kids a smile on our faces after we leave Rudy’s We love the breakfast burrito, oatmeal combo and also the waffle combo sooooo good everytime never fails!

We ate breakfast at Rudys on Saturday and we were extremely disappointed. Prices were to high! Service was not acceptable 😒 waitresses and busboy wre to busy talking instead of paying attention to customers. We loved this place before COVID, but probably wont be back. 😒😒. Just not the same! 😔😔😔

I came down to Wilmington California to load and I walked around to the restaurant from G street. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and fries with a tea. The rye bread 🍞 was top notch, nice and toasty like I like. The fries could have been a little bit more crispy but they were good. Really loved the combination together. The service was superb, they waitress was friendly and attentive, My tea glass stayed full. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in the area.

Candace was our waitress,, she great! We left our cell phone there by accident, so we called Rudys. She made effort to catch us in parking lot, but we had left already. Shes one of a kind, we live 100miles away as we were just passing thru. She actually mailed our phone by us mail and we received it in 2days. Cant thank her enough! Candace is a very kind lady! We have and will always eat there because their food is so delicious! Thanks again Candace see you in a few months!!!

We first passed by because the area isn’t great but went back because of the patio. There is a sign saying no dogs we didn’t see until seated and ordered but our dog was well welcomed. The staff was awesome, the food was really good. Prices seem high at first but then you see the portions are so big we couldn’t finish and the homemade quality of everything can’t be beat. Let me say in a run down area this cafe was spotless. If you are ever in the area give them a chance you won’t be sorry.

Its a great little gem in Wilmington, the food is always great and the atmosphere is welcoming. I would give 5 stars, but in my last visit they took long to take my order or even show a glimpse of attention from the waiter or waitresses. I know they werent that busy, they were talking shop in front of the register. So there you go 4 stars, hopefully it gets better.

Really quick service, great food, and friendly staff.Came in to kill an hour and was done ordering and eating in 20 minutes. The maple pecan french toast was great. Jennifer was super sweet and I saw her interacting with a regular like they were old friends. Its too bad I dont live near here, Id make this my go to breakfast place.

Ive always passed by here millions of times and always said, Im gonna eat there one day.. and well that day finally came.. and boy oh boy was I missing out.. I got my self a chicken fried stake and its about the best Ive tasted yet! It was a big plate .. it was a bit pricey but worth it.. im defiantly coming back.. the service is nice there. We stopped by after our cruise in the Port of LA, and we are so happy we did! Portions were huge, food was delicious, and the service was super friendly and quick.I ordered what may be the best Huevos Rancheros I’ve ever had, sooo good! My kids also loved their omelettes, and they’re picky eaters. 5 star recommendation all the way!

I was pleasantly surprised with the food and quality here. The restaurant is modeled from the 70s but the food is not out dated! Dont let the location fool you because the food here is amazing. I was skeptical and decided to venture out on the appetizer and play it safe with the entree so I ordered a cup of the clam chowder and a chz burger for the entree and I was blown away especially by the soup! I regret ordering the burger as I had an opportunity to eat something outside the box but the burger did not disappoint at all! All fresh ingredients and I badly want to come back and try something that I cant easily cook at home. High respect to the cook/chef! I only ate 2 things here but I can confidently say that EVERYTHING here is good! Cant wait for round 2 to get my phat-on!

The food here is really good, definitely a hole in the wall. This is my second experience and although the customer service is pretty good, The opportunity to growth is in order Accuracy and guess recovery. I ordered the amazing chocolate chip pancakes combo and a country steak. Unfortunately, it wasnt until I arrived home(10 minutes away) that I realized the pancakes were plain. We drove back (10 minutes) and they remade them with haste(6 minutes or so). Now I’m faced with a bigger problem, the rest of the food was cold but the pancakes were hot. I understand the times so you’re probably trying to Cost low however there were only 2 people in store. I recommend if this happens in the future, and it happens, offer to remake the entire meal or offer a small percentage off on the guest next visit. No one aims to spend 47$ on cold food. Thank you

The food (breakfast) was ok, not great... The people are nice (workers), now the owner thats a different story... Rude! We came in the side door which she did not like, it was our first time there and the door was not locked. So she told me three different times to come in the front door next time. So I told her we didnt know and that I heard her the first time. English is my first language I dont know about her!

First time trying this place out and it was a pleasant surprised. The restaurant itself is a little outdated but thats the norm in Wilmington. The food though was very good! Paid almost $22 but the food was great and plentiful! I had the veggie omelet with sourdough bread ($10.44) & Biscuits with gravy($5&some change). I left feeling like I was in my third trimester but I couldnt help it everything was so good.👍 From the toast to the biscuits I put it all DOWN! Those hash browns OMG! Golden brown and crispy on top, hot and soft on the inside 😍mhmmm. The coffee was alright but for $2 something (free refills) it complimented the meal. This place was around the corner from my job and normally Im headed home after working (graveyard) but today I had to kill time for a covid test at 9am, this place was heavenly. Out of all of Wilmington, definitely one of the best restaurants out there. Breakfast here was pretty affordable, about 10$-20$ per person. Waiters check in on you to see if your experience is going well, and not super crowded!

I deliver out here pretty regularly, this time I decided to venture around for a walk and swung by this nice little restaurant. The coffee is fresh and tasteful, the food was amazing all the way down to the homemade salsa. Thank you for the wonderful food and delightful staff. I have been eating here since the 80s. It was the Bonanza, then Mamas and now Rudys. They make the best chili verdi omelet ever. Always have. I love this place! You have to come here and order the chili verdy omelet. You will be coming back.

Today I went to a Cafe names Rudy’s in Wilmington, CA where I grew up. A dear friend of mine suggested it too me. When we lived there over 25 years ago it was called Bonanza, well it is living up too the reputation of great eating and delicious food and customer service. Our waitress Candy was delightful and gave wonderful customer service today. I told it was my first time there but had heard great things. So Cindy made sure we were taken care of today and it is greatly appreciated. Cindy should be applauded for he friendly service and smile, thanks Cindy we will definitely be back 🥰

Very long wait for a phone order. Was told to stand by the cash register where they forgot that I am here to pick up a phone order for about 10 minutes until I asked Whats going on? $14 for bland french toast, eggs and very crunchy and salty bacon with nasty iced coffee.You can go there to feel like you are part of the crowd and because EVERYONE is doing it. Ive tasted much better french toast from Omega Burgers and Louis Burgers. Ive also gotten better service from those places too.A complete waste of money and time.

My Friend Alvin and I are becoming regulars there and the Hospitality of Eat at Rudys is just superb and I would Recommend Eat at Rudys as a nice restaurant establishment to enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch and the workers there know there regular customers by names and they dont know me by name just yet however in due time they will get to know me more on a customer basis and I personally thank Eat at Rudys for their outstanding food and customer service. I drive 18 wheeler and was stuck for a week waiting for a load. I enjoyed walking up to Rudys every morning for coffee.... If you watched Twin Peaks: The Return, in Part 18, Agent Dale Cooper arrives at Eat at Judys in Odessa, Texas (which was filmed here LOL). My husband and I watch the show and since were geeks, we decided to come here to check it out. Upon arrival, it looks pretty much the same as it did on TV except they had cleared out most of the tables on the inside on the show and Francesca Eastwood (Clint Eastwoods daughter) is not the waitress..... We were greeted immediately and told that we could sit anywhere we wanted. My husband had to use the restroom, so of course I had to pick the same booth that Dale Cooper sat at! HAHAHA. (Theres a side by side photo in my Yelp Profile)My husband ordered the California Omelette with toast and I got the Chile Verde Omelette with flour tortillas. $12 for a dry burger and inedible potatoes. Since the styrofoam to go containers they are placed in are all melted by the time you get back home to eat it. Place a piece of aluminum foil before you place the food so it doesnt melt the styrofoam! Especially for hot dishes. What do you expect from cheap Koreans anyways? Too stingy to buy aluminum foil for customers.
