Lemon drop was fantastic at the bar also the bartender, great vibes and live music. We were seated for dinner. Lobster bisque was so creamy and delicious. My steak was tender. Everything was wonderful. We were a table of 3 so the waiter brought one check for some reason without even asking. We asked him to do 3 separate checks but said no and told us we should tell him how it’s split up by dividing it ourselves on one check, very weird that he would not give us separate checks then took forever to come back. Everything was great outside of that.

We had the most wonderful time celebrating my sisters birthday! Our waiter Victor was excellent! The ambiance was incredibly classy and delightful. However, the MANAGER, ALEXIS was very considerate, attentive and professional! She went out of her way to make sure our birthday celebration was a memorable experience. All in all this is a very special, elegant and memorable place for a special occassion. And the food was amazing!

I visited Eddie Vs on last Sunday. I ordered the Pan Sole and the Crab Fried Rice. Both dishes were great. Lamb chops,steak, and Mac and cheese were some of the other dishes ordered by the group I was with.I will definitely be going back. I loved the ambiance.

I Love this place!!! First off, the staff is amazing. They are all very friendly. They decorated the table for my husband and I anniversary. The food was even better than it looks. I got the Jumbo shrimp crab cakes and my husband had the salmon. Now, let’s get to the entertainment. The band was off the chain, they had us all singing along. We had a great anniversary night❤️

Love This place had not been in a while, but we popped in it was pouring raining, no reservations the took us right in party of 4.Sat us down right in the bar area and the live jazz began, it was really nice.Our waiter was the best. I forgot her name 😞 sorry . We ordered our food, and it came out nice and hot, I had the famous Crab fried rice its still the best. Eddie vs has Never disappointed me. Oh my god if you go there you have to try the crabcakes just get one crab cake and eat it. It’s going to melt in your mouth. Then if you’re feeling really really hungry, try their 32 ounce ribeye. Omg I can go on and on

This was my first time at Eddie Vs.I heard so much about the restaurant. I had to try it. Making reservations was very easy. I was able to make some adjustments on the party size by two people so that was awesome! When I walked in while waiting to be seated the hostess gave me a complimentary glass of champagne. A very nice addition.The atmosphere was so amazing and welcoming. I enjoyed the food, The customer service was ten and the waitress was very nice I forgot her name but she made sure we had everything we needed and because it was Mothers day she gave me a complimentary lobster mashed potatoes that was amazing. I would for sure go back. Oh and another thing make sure to get the crab cakes omg!! Delicious.....Thank you Eddie Vs Ill be back.🌹

Amazing experience! Visited another location but this is by far the best! Thank you to the staff for the wonderful atmosphere. The signature drink is delicious and not sweet. Tender and flavorful calamari, indulgent lobster mashed potatoes, filet medallions with crab and seared tuna are all a must-try! This restaurant is honestly one of the best seafood restaurants hands down! You can valet your car out front. Hubby and I visited on Monday evening around 5pm, no reservations but we got good seating. I ordered the cosmopolitan drink, crab cake dish, South African lobster bites, steak sliders and their crab fried rice. We didnt try the calamari but it looks delicious, Ill definitely be back to try. Our waiter Jane was so nice and had one of the best customer service I felt. Then around 6pm there was a beautiful live band. At the end of our dinner experience Jane brought out the Eddie Vs dessert. What an awesome night out. If you want an upscale restaurant this is the place to go! Remember theres a dress code, so dress well ;)

I highly recommend Eddie Vs . I had made Reservations a couple of weeks ahead of time for my girlfriends Birthday and requested a booth if available. When we arrived we were seated immediately and they seated us in a booth with Birthday confetti and a personalized Birthday card for Her . Our waitress Amy and her partner Cas provided Excellent service We had Filet Mignon Lobster Norwegian Salmon Lobster mashed potatoes Everything was cooked perfectly. It was a great time. We will go back . They also had live music and a very nice patio area.

This is just a great place to eat. The food, service, and ambiance are always great.Love the lamb, Sole, Halibut, Sea Bass, scallops... I dont think you can pick a bad dish here.Oh yeah! I really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. I went for my Birthday. They made me feel so special and welcomed. Our table was beautifully decorated for my Birthday. The food was delicious and filling. The portions are sharable. I didnt get pictures of the sides, but you must try the Crab fried rice. 😋 We also had asparagus, sautéed spinach and potatoes.Our server was very nice. 👌🏾And they also had a Live band in the bar area that played very good music.I definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice intimate date as well. ♥️

When I saw that Eddie Vs was coming to SouthBay, I was excited! Ive always wanted to go for dinner but didnt want to make the drive to Newport. So when they opened up, I quickly made a dinner reservation. Unfortunately, life kept getting in the way, and I had to cancel. I literally made about 3/4 reservations and had to keep canceling them due to unexpected life events.I saw that they were going to have an Easter brunch, and I was like, yes, please! So I booked a reservation for their Easter Brunch, hoping I won’t need to cancel. Luckily, everything worked out, and we were able to go! I noticed that they have a pretty strict dress code, so we made sure we dressed appropriately. They have valet parking which is the best! I believe it was $10.When we entered the restaurant, it was exactly what I envisioned. They have beautiful sparkling chandeliers, and everything was clean and organized. We were greeted and seated right away. We had a perfect booth located in a very well-lit area. Our waitress, Carly, was fantastic! She was quick and efficient and was patient with us, and was really kind.They had a special Easter Brunch menu, and I just assumed that’s all we were able to order off of. My husband kind of gave a look and didn’t seem too excited about the Easter menu. Carly sensed something and told us we could also order off the regular menu. My husbands face lit up! My daughter and I ordered off the Easter Brunch menu, and hubby ordered off the regular menu.The food was ok. It wasn’t anything spectacular. We had really high hopes, and it was just basic. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, but we just expected better. We’ve had better oysters, shrimp cocktails, and steaks at other restaurants. Maybe we’ll come back for dinner. They usually don’t open until 4, so dinner is their specialty, not brunch so much. But I’m still glad we came and experienced Eddie V’s. Overall, we had a great time!

Quite possibly the best restaurant Ive ever been too! The meticulous attention to detail was simply astounding. Beautiful decor, white table cloths, candles. The staff was extremely professional, our waitress made our cocktails tableside! And boy, were they good! I had the perfect margarita made with a shot of patron and my daughter had the hope diamond. A tea infused iced cube with Grey Goose poured over itWe ordered filet mignon sliders and calamari for appetizers. It was a whole filet, cut in half. And the calamari was Thai style, with crispy noodles and peppers. Delicious! I had the mustard glazed salmon, cooked to perfection! The childrens menu was simply amazing. Filet mignon, mac and cheese, chicken fingers fresh fruit, salad, French fries. The chicken fingers were scratch made. They offer them grilled or fried. And house made fries with the skin on. Everything was fabulous. Having a professional staff enhances your dining experience. I invite you all to come experience the best meal ever, great cocktails and perfect ambience! Been several times the last time they were definitely profiling the party I was with as someone had on a hoodie and had to go change. This wasn’t a consistent process as they’re were others in the location out of the “dress code” bill was over $400 and not everyone in the party was super happy with the food. Taco were amazing, the sea bass wasn’t cooked all the way. The crab legs were good and mostly everyone liked the fried rice. The 24 Carat Champagne they have is good and bartenders are on top of their craft.

Went for moms bday, what I had was great..:. She’s been wanting to try this place since they came to the neighborhood! We sat at the bar because they tried to seat us in the sun with no umbrella in 89 degree weather. There were so many tables open on the patio in the shade and I wasn’t sure what that was about. When you enter the door at Eddie Vs you instantly know you will enjoy your evening. The hostess immediately greets you with a smile and instant recognition, we had reservations. We ordered our drinks and they were promptly delivered. We enjoyed the Cesar salad. Although not the traditional dressing, their dressing has a real fine enjoyable taste. I highly recommend trying. My meal was two perfectly prepared Australian lobster tales. I enjoyed a side order of au gratin potatoes. We ordered a half order and still had enough for another meal. My wife ordered the scallops and again perfectly prepared. She enjoyed a half order of roasted Korean glazed brussel sprouts . After the meal we were presented with the desert menu. Definitely a 5 star experience.

My first visit to Eddie V’s was amazing! From the ambiance to the service to the delicious food, I was extremely impressed! When you arrive, the valet is so polite and accommodating making you feel welcomed right away. Once inside, the holiday decor was beautiful! We arrived maybe 15 minutes before our scheduled reservation and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Selena, was very sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. She thoroughly explained each item we asked about in detail and, per her recommendation, I got the half portion of lobster mashed potatoes which were more than enough for 2 ppl. In addition, I ordered the 24 karat cocktail, the seabass with a lobster tail on the side, and the crab fried rice which was very tasty. Because it was New Year’s Day, we received a complimentary dessert of sherbet and fudge cookies with banana which was pretty good. Overall, my experience was exceptional and I will definitely be returning!

I made reservations for 8:45 online and I seen we were running a little late so I changed it to 9:00 but the restaurant closed at 9:00 and they were calling me letting me know that they closed at 9:00 but once I got there they still let us come in have dinner and treated us like it was 5:00 in the evening. When I tell you extraordinary customer service. The reason we were going there was to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday so I let them know that on the reservation notes. Theyre wonderful staff had a birthday card sign with all the waitresses on there wishing my baby a Happy Birthday. And when I tell you the food was the best I can go there every day. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Their a bit pricey for most but I assure you, its well worth the money. Lets start with the service. By far the best Ive had from any medium to high end restaurant. They practically wait on you. The servers are all very nice and pleasant. Second, theyve got an extraordinary wine menu. Their cocktails are hands down great. Now on to the food. The crab cake is out of this world amazing. Nice size chunks of lump crab, and cooked to perfection and accompanied on the plate by an awesome house made tartar sauce. Then theres the so so succulent lobster tacos. Uuuuuuummmmmmm. They are filled with lobster claw meat and accompanied by fresh greens and a buttery sauce that flavorfully combines and sets of a grand firework show on your taste buds. For the main course I had the 22 ounce bone in rib eye with the butter drawn lobster masked potatoes as a side, I must caution you that the sides are family size which justifies their price with that said they were. Amazing!!!! The steak was well seasoned, most and very tender and cooked to perfection. I also ordered their Chilean sea bass, which is steamed and served over a bed of spinach with a house made soy sauce companion. Again amazing!!!! This place really prime, no doubts about it. Well worth the price. I will be going back and frequently. Highly recommend checking this place out. And let them know M&S BBQ smoke house sent you. If you were wondering, the sea bass is in the picture behind the steak. Nice big piece. I failed to mention this amazing place is reservation only. So call or book ahead.

Hello my name is Patti. I was so excited to attend this restaurant for my bday last night11/18/23 but as quickly as I sat down in the bar area a manager approached me and said that my stripes on my bodysuit remined her of a tracksuit and that I had to put my jacket back on and I looked over to my right and there were men at the bar with shorts t-shirts and tennis shoes. I was dressed to the nine. I was so hurt that my strips was the topic of conversation when there were others dress extremely casual. Even if it was a tracksuit as long as Im presentable that should be the focus. I was well dress for my bday and I shouldnt have had tofeel bad about strips on my bodysuiton my bday. I was very disappointed an still fell saddened about this. Know one should be made to feel as I did on their special day no one. I do understand rules but if were Enforcing rules then they should have made a lot of the customer leave that night. I will be sharing my experience with consumers

What a great dining experience my wife and I had here recently. We came in on a Monday at 7:30 pm to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the dining area was full. Luckily I had reserved a table online. Tenesia was our server and she did a great job of taking care of my wife and I. We dined here last night for a friend’s birthday, party of 7. I wanted to write this much needed review. The only thing that comes to mind is that I’m blown away by all the great reviews. The service however, was great. Shout out to our waiter Fabiano (?sp).I won’t be back. It was boughetto (Bougie Ghetto) for lack of a better word. Keep in mind there’s a “dress code”. No hoodies, gym wear, athletic wear I was told. But apparently ratchet wear is okay. Ripped jeans, fur coats and fake gold chains also okay. I saw patrons with member only jackets, and a guy waiting in the front with shorts and sandals on. IIt was raining outside and my husband had a designer hoodie on- but he was told no…Even though there was a woman also wearing a hoodie inside. They let my friend’s son in with a hoodie but asked him to tuck it in. I spoke to a manager and she informed me he could take off his hoodie and wearing a plain T shirt was okay or he could borrow one of their blazers to put over the hoodie. It just doesn’t make sense. She proceeded to tell me she used to work at Mastros and they also have a dress code. Well this place is for sure not on their level lol… but we also went for a birthday recently at Mastros and they actually didn’t care about the hoodie. Honestly, if we are spending over 200 per person here… it doesn’t matter what you wear. So disappointed. It left a bad taste in my mouth… literally.The drinks took forever to arrive at our table. Even just the birthday shots. The food was either overly salted or average.. nothing to write home about. The best thing was their dessert (banana flambé). It was actually very good.The decor was interesting. Reminded me of a hotel. The waiters are dressed up in maitre’d type fancy outfits and seemed like it was white glove service with the white tablecloths etc. They also seemed like they were in a rush for us to leave, clearing the table. I would like to give Eddie Vs 5 stars but I just cant. We went to Eddie Vs on Jan.4th 2023 which was my birthday. My husband, son and I. My son and I did not finish all our filet and mac and cheese so we asked for it to go home. We were given a bag of food which we took home and placed in the fridge. The next day I took it out and was excited to finish my delicious food only to find out we were given someone elses leftovers. I know mistakes happen but I was disappointed. They sent me a survey and I related all this info on the survey and expected someone to respond. By January 31st I heard nothing so I called and spoke to a manager (female) and related my 2 disappointments ( not the right food and no response). She was very nice, apologized and said well it sounds like we owe you some steak and mac and cheese. She asked me for my name and address which I provided. Today is March 4th and I still have not received anything. I do not expect to be compensated for my entire dinner but it would have been nice to have received something. So, this is my 3rd disappointment with Eddies. I want very much to return Eddies as a happy customer in the future but I feel like Eddies just doesnt care. I expected more from a restaurant of this caliber.

Besides the food, service, and ambiance, another highlight of the evening was the live jazz in the bar/lounge. The pianist was outstanding; he played everything from Anita Baker to Elton John. This place is way over hyped. I would put the food quality on the same line of Red Lobster at best. Our waiter wasn’t very good and didn’t explain anything or any specials since it was our first time eating here. My wife ordered the Eddie seafood platter or whatever it was called, which came with a ton of seafood, however he never explained everything was chilled. So when you are paying $135 for this plate and you have your mind set on seafood and your tower arrives with cold pricy seafood, that is a let down. This also came with oysters and my wife wanted warmed up style and the waiter went back and asked the chef if they could accommodate this and they did, however, our waiter never told us it was an additional $32 up charge for it until our bill came! Luckily he stuck his own foot in his mouth and took it off the bill. The standard drink specials are not very good and the bourbon list is average at best. The valet is another joke, they indicated they were full when we pulled up in our standard rental and they said we can park ourselves in the “way back of the parking garage for free” but funny thing is when we were walking up they were parking higher end cars still! Again the waiter we had was a joke and the scallops I got were over priced. I wish I would’ve taken a picture, but none of the scallops were identical in size and I would be ashamed if I were a chef to send them out to my guests. I wouldn’t recommend this seafood place at all for the amount of money you are about to spend. Good luck if you still decide to go ahead and eat here, unless this is the standard in California, which could be the case!

Eddie V’s is a wonderful place to dine. Beautiful inside and out. Spring weather can be warm or cool, and being close to the water a bit of a breeze may come up at any time. They have heat lamps.The service is professional with a smile always. The drinks are well made and the food is delicious.Classy place for dressing up to go out for a lovely evening and great food.You can enjoy good conversation. Nice crowd of quietly spoken guess. You couldn’t hear the conversation from across the way.The music started as we were leaving, NICE.

Our first time. We both loved the cocktails, I had 24 Karat, and he choose Smoked Old Fashioned. The warm goat cheese salad was amazing, the light dressing gave just the right impact, oh and the mushrooms though. The lump crab cake was lovely. He had the lobster bisque which was presented in an interesting way. He had the New York Strip which he loved and I tasted and it was so flavorful. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was perfect just the way I like it! A complimentary rice dish was brought to the table which was also delicious. We enjoyed dinner outside, very pleasant and helpful staff. The portions size was more than expected. We definitely recommend and will dine there again!

Came here during the middle of the week thinking it would be slower but it was busy because the food is outstanding and service exceptional. Beautiful inside also. Lots of private areas you can reserve. Warning ⚠️ if you have mobility issues their elevator/lift is out of order. So you have to walk up 8 steps. They need to repair it and/or put in a ramp also. Conner was our server. Hes top notch professional and his crew 👏. Wed go back for sure. Note: live music is piped into dining room and it can be a bit loud at times.

I attended an Engagement Party. We had our own private room with a big screen TV. Everything was excellent from the service to the food and drinks. There is valet parking. We were treated like Royalty. The Norwegian Salmon melts in your mouth. The fillet Mignon is so tender. You will NOT be disappointed at Eddie Vs. Great ambience!

My wife and I went on a Wednesday night. She had the Caesar salad, truffle Mac and cheese and lobster tacos. I had the wedge BLT, crab fried rice and Georges Bank Scallops. The scallops with brown bar were moist and the best scallops I ever tasted. Eric was our server and did an excellent job. Sochi also greeted us well and was very accommodating. Everything here was simple, delicious and elegant. Our reservation was honored promptly, our champagne put on ice, our cocktails prepared expertly (and when one glass of wine proved to be too acidic, our server Giovanni, made sure a better vintage was poured immediately.) The lobster tacos are wonderful. Tonights chef was Rafa. I hope he is on deck next time we return. Our sea bass was perfection, not under or overdone. Hen last night March 26, 2022. The server was awful could not get my order right was sent back 3 times and his inability to get my party checks correct this server cost me an extra $85.00 on car service.The story:Its hard to rate this establishment when your order is wrong, and you get a bad server!When he approached our table, we asked if we could have a separate check from the server and he agree to my partys request. Not only did he not comply with our request to get our request we had to call his manager to the table. After the manager left, he proceeded to insult one of my party members over the request. As we sat waiting for our separate checks to pay the bill that he could not get right the car service sat outside waiting for us one hour later. When the server did not come back with one of my party members credit card she had to go get it from him which cause the manager to get involved to get the check right. Did not turn out to be a happy birthday!!!!.

Eddie Vs is our go to for great seafood; however, their filets are so tender and delicious as well. We had the Norwegian salmon and the filet for dinner and the crab cakes for appetizer. All dishes were fantastic. As for cocktail, their smoked old fashioned is one of the best - ask the server to smoke it at tableside. No pictures to share - we were so hungry and forgot the pics 😐

If great food and ambiance you crave, make Eddie Vs your go to spot for most any occasions. My 1st experience was their San Diego location and I was absolutely blown away. Id visited there several times but, now that theres a El Segundo location Ill be visiting here a lot more. Of course the food is on the pricey side yet, dont let this deter you from a wonderful experience. You want cheap go to Sizzler. Eddie Vs even provides a well appointed bar, generous seating and entertainment to boot. What more could you ask for? Fiesta Martins perhaps 🤔. I think not. I digress. If youre pondering over celebrating New Years eve here arrive early because itll be crowded. That said, you wont be disappointed. Eddie Vs is a great experience and perfectly located in the trendy El Segundo corridor. Tell a friend.

My wife and I had the privilege to get to experience Eddie Vs during the opening weekend. Holy cow was it outstanding! We were celebrating our 5-year wedding anniversary. The restaurant pulled out ALL the stops. The service was beyond amazing. We both have never experienced such amazing service in our lives (not exaggerating). We started off with drinks. The smoked old fashioned was particularly good. My wife really enjoyed her mango mule.For food, we each started with the lobster bisque. It was exquisite. For our main course, my wife got the South African Lobster Tail and I got the 22oz bone-in ribeye. We shared the crab fried rice and brussel sprouts.The staff and chef then brought our a dessert platter with the most delicious chocolate cake weve both ever had.If there was a way I could give this experience a 10-star review, I would! The whole staff was amazing but these people really stood out: Kat, Vinny, and Kyle. Thank you all for the best dining experience Ive ever had!

Started with their Hope Diamond cocktail- Im not a big drinker but it was wonderful. Calamari, crab fried rice was to die for. Had a perfectly cooked filet with the largest lobster tail I’ve ever had. The bananas foster dessert and Godiva were out of this world. Basically every single item was top quality and incredibly unique. Prices aren’t crazy, especially for the area.Service was top notch. I can’t believe this is a chain!

One of my worst experiences ever and I was super shocked based on past experiences at Eddie Vs in Pittsburgh and Orlando. Sat at the bar for hAppy hour and received some of the worst service I have experienced in years. Asked politely 9 times for a glass of water during my visit and never did get it. Ordered the filet sliders medium rare, they were served medium well, calamari did not taste fresh, returned the sashimi since it was swimming in doy sauce and tasted terrible and the buratta was okay. Not sure what was up with this location in El Segundo. Dont plan on returning.

Was mostly a great experience all around. Wonderful service, delicious food - except for 1 thing - the kung pao calamari. Most of the noodles in it were not cooked. It was very hard to eat. The calamari was not crisp. We had a great version of this in Massachusetts and were looking forward to it. The El Segundo branch needs to work on it.

But, unfortunately, the filet and the NY were bland, no flavor at all, the sautéed spinach was literally drenched in 2 inches of olive oil and disgusting .. they brought a new one and same thing, the warm arugula, goat cheese salad was filled with over sautéed onions?? All was going well until the food arrived and noticed that the potatoes had a nice slightly charred crust but were cold in the middle. I was so happy when they opened this location in El Segundo, I was going to the one in Newport Beach for some time as well as the one in Palm Springs. This past Thursday December 9th myself and my coworker decided to come here again for happy hour because we enjoyed ourselves so much the time before. We decided to sit at the bar as we did not make reservations. Initially the service was good from Christina, but later that evening they decided to open the window to accommodate other customers . I find that interesting because when I came earlier I was unable to find 3 seats and neither of the two bartenders were accommodating to my request luckily someone left and we got a seat. Moving forward it was a very cold night and we were directly across from the open window . It was colddddd, and uncomfortable from that point on. We did not have heating lamps as did the customers outside, we were cold, the food we were eating got cold quickly I did not have a jacket as I didnt think I would need one inside. I did ask for a manager he did not accommodate anything, but he did give me a thin shawl., Christina our waitress stopped helping us for a lack of better words, after I asked for a manager the service just went down heal from there, it was if I was being unreasonable by asking for service . The service just got worse and we decided to leave I was not happy with the way we were handled, maybe Ill come back for dinner, but I will pass on the bar situation.

We had a 7:30 reservation for outdoors seating as we currently believe it is not safe to eat indoors. We arrive abouut 5 minutes early and were advised that the current customers seated outdoors had been lingering for hours (per their staff some customers had lingered for more than FOUR HOURS) and we were forewarned that we may not be able to be seated outdoors for perhaps up to 30 minutes. We were seated at the last indoor table right next to the door to enter their patio. We were told by one employee that she was going to check to see how long it might be before we could be seated outdoors and then 10-15 minutes went by and no water no bread no other contact. Then, after this 10-15 minute wait with no other contact we were told that we could expect to be seated outdoors within the following half hour. Then we were taken outdoors to the seats in front of their fire pit and told we would receive complimentary appetizers. The night was made worse when a new server came by to basically talk down to us, stating that they now have about 300 customers who would like to eat outdoors while only being able to accommodate 20 and that they were not the kind of place that would ask customers to leave after 2 hours. I guess that means that they are the kind of place that 1. throws their customers under the bus - its their customers fault for lingering and 2. that they are the kind of place that does not honor reservations made for outdoors. I did not need a lecture from this wait staff person about customer service. Their food was excellent and Max, the manager left to handle situations made worse by his staff was accommodating.To summarize, excellent quality food and condescending service from some of their staff who need to be working in a morgue or someplace with no human interaction.That was then, this is now.We decided to return for a second try.They (Parker was our server) and Max the manager hit it out of the ballpark.We had a reservation for outdoors table at 7 and were seated soon after arrival. Parker our server was great, he had a wonderful drink suggestion for the vodka drink the Maverick and it was on point.The food was fantastic as it was on the original visit. Attention to detail was evident this visit. The meal included the crab cake as well as the lobster tacos. These were incredibly tasty. The caesar salad completed the second course and was wonderful as well. The filet with lobster tail is an indulgence that is well worth it.Such a wonderful experience this time around, We are glad to have returned and plan to do so in the future.

The only reason I gave two stars is because the waiter who waited on us made us feel rushed. And it seemed like it was a chor/burden to serve us. It was my Bday and he didnt even offer or bring out the small complimentary Bday cake/treat after dinner. Outside of that, the food was great. I dont mind paying but the food should be on par with the price..The lobster bisque was a very small portion of soup that you could consume with 4 tablespoons... The Caesar salad was small and came with exactly ONE crouton and the parmesan cheese was basically invisible...Im not a steak eater so I cant speak to the quality of the steaks although I saw them on the plates of the people I was with... They appeared to be your average steak youd get at any Steakhouse.. Overall my party wasnt really satisfied with their food but for the price everyone ate it...The best food item is the crab fried rice. You cant go wrong with that. Id skip all the other stuff and go straight for it..The soups and salads really need a do-over. That would really help quantify the value of what youre paying for vs. what youre getting..Best drink: The 24 karat margarita🍹...The only option for parking is valet which is $10 and you need to have cash for that..So overall, if you want to go here just be prepared to spend a lot of money because a meal, drink and parking for even just one person is going to be $$$$$$....

Steak Tataki appetizer is consistently excellent: perfectly grilled, flavorful w/soy & fresh shitake. Calamari has been much improved: fried crispy & no longer oily, still same flavorful sauce on the veggies and fried beanthread. Filet has been consistently grilled per ordered doneness, almost always with membrane thoughtfully removed. Truffled mac and cheese is generous with truffle flavor, but not always hot enough. Au gratin potatoes are steamy with melty cheese sauce. Only two negatives: 1) Asparagus has often been tough as wood. Apparently, they ignore that serving uniform length spears, the woody stems should be pared. Last night, the tips were even crunchy with sand! Ugh, I was still finding sand in my mouth after dessert. 2) We used to enjoy the scallops. But after repeatedly getting sandy scallops, we stopped ordering them.

Beautiful place, miles above McCormick and Schmick (the restaurant that used to be there). We went on a Sunday night and the place was full, with a live jazz trio playing in the main dining area. A little expensive for their offerings, but a great date night place to visit. Dress nice, they have a dress code.
