Fantastic Italian food! We started w/ the garlic puffs that were crispy on the out and soft n warm inside, and the garlic oil🤤 and then we shared the three course for two Cesar salad, Roma penne pasta and a Detroit style Eddies specialty pizza. Highly recommended Italian place. Very cute and warm atmosphere.

The food here is great, but the service is exceptional --- especially Chris and Justin, who are very friendly, funny and attuned to your dining needs and requests. The place is compact and has a warm and welcoming vibe (they could use a little bit of brighter lights, though). Price point is also very reasonable. Overall, dining here is a pleasure every single time.

Was just scrolling thur Italian food options this place popped up. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint!!!! The food is amazing. I had the Fettuccine truffle mushroom with crumbled sausage. Had those gralic puffs as well, and yup, that is a must-have!! Really cute place to go for an Italian feel. Will definitely go again if Im ever in town.

It is a small Italian restaurant. This restaurant is conveniently located in a strip mall, that is adjacent on the right side to Stater Bros. The ambiance, during my Friday visit of November last year, was quite welcoming. The waitress, if I remember her name was Nina, was quite friendly and helpful. The table, were I was seated was neat, and surrounding area was clean. The meals, too, were delicious. If I remember correctly, I ate some delicious bacon pasta. Definitely, I would recommend a visit to this restaurant, the prices, too, were fair. I have spent, without the deserved tip, around $15-$20. So, if anyone is in Claremont area, I would recommend a visit to this restaurant. It is conveniently located near Foothill Boulevard, on the old Route 66.

Six of us went to this restaurant on a Saturday night, and it was pretty crowded. We were seated by had a wait, the Manager Oscar comped us our table a appetizer plate. The dishes we had and all different were really tasty, however on friend had the November Special was delicious. It should be kept on the menu as one of their regular dishes. Our waitress was exceptional.I recommended a family member that went there on Wednesday with a friend for lunch. They had soup and salad. She said the soup of cold, (I would have let the waitress know at the time) she said salad was good. They asked for bread and was told it was not served unless they had pasta. I would think bread would definitely be an accompaniment and definitely included with Soup and Salad. With restaurants losing customers perhaps they need to be a little more accomodating to customers requests.

Wow. The wife wanted to try....seemed like an out of the way place, tucked in the Stater Bros. parking lot. Not too crowded. But the food was awesome! The service great and kinda cool vibe inside. Had lunch special sausage, peppers, and pasta. Even ate Mamas leftovers plus garlic puffs 😋

The place is adorable, wonderful ambiance and the lighting is perfect. Has that Italian romantic feel to it!The service is exceptional which is lacking today. Eddies has basically guaranteed themselves a monthly visit from me and my family with their monthly special offerings. The menu items are always great, but the peach, prosciutto pizza with honey balsamic drizzle, had me coming back for more. The monthly offerings include a pizza, pasta dish, and dessert. Im not a big dessert guy, but my wife says the tiramisu is really good as well

I wish I had a photo. I ordered lasagna through doordash and loved it!! Not a sweet sauce or Italian sausage (unless you ask for it, I dont like it). I make a mean lasagna so I really doubt ordering it but I was craving it and had no time to do it myself. I received a 7 (I think) round container. It wasnt completely full because the lasagna is not round but it was delicious!!!!

My husband and I have eaten at Eddies more than once. We get something different from the menu every time we go. We love the atmosphere, the employees are great, and the food is wonderful! We recommend Eddies Italian Eatery to all of our friends & family. We have made Eddies one of our go to places for dinner, especially for special occasions.

We love this place! My favorite is the chicken Parmesan, garlic knots, and their tiramisu. They also have really good cannoli.Sadly we were disappointed by their pizza but everything else is great.

The food was DELICIOUS! Kinda pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality, taste, and service. We sat outside to be COVID safe and it was so nice! There was no wait and we went around 6:30, 7:00 on a Thursday. Our waitress was super friendly and recommended Italian sodas with our meals. We got one vanilla and one mango passionfruit-- I highly recommend! I was very disappointed that the owner had the opportunity to make it right for another customer and did not. He chose not to listen to a customer, when the customer asked a question, why do you charge for extra bread? The response was, I have too. I will think before I go there again and let my friends know. Very unprofessional, fortunately the employees make the restaurant successful. The owner does not! Learn from your employees, owner!

Italian flaire cuisine with some twist. Great combinations with new york style and chicago type pizza. Pasta are well cooked and authentic balance of herbs. Wonderful and helpfull servers, the price is very reasonable to the food that you chooses. Try a different style and you be the judge. My only criticism is Bland food. I ordered the mushroom truffle spaghetti which was absurdly salty and oily. It was so bad it left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. It came with a piece of bread that was tasteless and slightly stale. I also ordered a fried eggplant parmesan sub which was mostly just bread and mozzarella cheese with a tiny amount of fried eggplant. The fried eggplant was nothing to write home about. Italian food can be some of the most explosively flavorful food on the planet… this however is a far cry from the real thing.

Potatoes need help...(overly pre-cooked)...have a warmed up taste.Now we get to the best part...desert. My friend knows the owner and knew to ask about the hidden secret cake someone inside this wonderful little establishment occasionally bakes.Im not a desert person usually...but the couple of bites I got in...before the other two devoured it...were chocolate heaven.Which tells me...next time (and there will be a next time) I will save room for desert!

Came here for lunch the other day. The dining area is kinda dark. Ordered the calzone lunch special with a salad. Each meal also comes with bread. When my table was handing out the plates, we found out they just stacked old dirty plates on the bottom so had to ask for new ones. Salad is a salad, nothing amazing. The sausage and salami calzone was ok. The bottom of my calzone was undercooked so it had a chewy doughy taste. Maybe Id try this place again but I wouldnt make another trip out here to try this restaurant.

Although we usually dine in at Eddies Italian Eatery, last Sunday we ordered dinner for takeout. I spoke with NOAH when I placed the order over the phone. He was beyond helpful, patient, and kind - it was so refreshing! When I went in to pick up the food, MARLENE helped me and was equally helpful and kind as was the Manager, MATT, who overheard me telling Marlene how great Noah was over the phone. The overall experience with Eddies staff was much appreciated!

Decent food. Ive had better for cheaper though and pastas dont come with garlic bread. House bread is good but not amazing. I didnt want to pay for a side of garlic bread on the side. The piccata sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Our waiter seemed to have a hard time when I asked for some modifications on my pasta, not sure of he didnt understand me or didnt want to deal with modifications. His attitude was snide. Wont go back.

I was really disappointed when I noticed I paid $13 for that tiny container full of lettuce, with that money I could buy a whole chicken a whole lot more toppings for my salad. Totally overpriced. It is my 3rd times dining in this place and that will be the last one. Ordered one apple salad not an apple salad with a living bug! For Jesus Christ, I ate a lot salads and I found a moving bug. It was so disgusting and cant believe this happened in a restaurant. Someone should be responsible for the quality of the food. When customers dine in your place, you should offer them with eatable food, not the one with bugs. Someone should take this seriously because it is about my health!!!!

Ive been here a few times and the food has been consistently good. My pasta was hot and fresh and a decent sized portion. Service was a little slower this time than before but it was a Friday evening and it was busy. The menu is a good size with a good variety and prices are fair, a decent wine list too. The sauce was tasteless, the spaghetti cold.The only thing done right was that the cheese was melted on top of this basically raw dish This was not an inexpensive meal. First off, the food was great. We walked in and didnt get a proper greeting and just asked if we were eating in, we said yes, they said it would be 10-15 minutes to be seated. We sat down in front and waited and were seated with who I believed was the manager and took our drink and appetizer order. Food order was taken and came out quickly and looked great, tasted great and the portion was appropriate. The soda was flat, the soup was on the cold side. I was a little annoyed at the server who told us it was a long wait when we arrived, they came back to the table for the check 3 minutes after setting it down and just stood there to rush us out. UPDATE…Most folks write updates because of a different experience and in this case it is. Not sure how they can make it much better but they did. Waited a little longer than usual but not a problem as the wait is always worth it. Brooke was awesome and recommendations were spot on. Friendly and courteous makes the dining experience even better. This is our go to spot when looking whether we are looking for Italian, a fresh salad, great appetizers and first class desserts. They also have a great beer selection in bottle and draft.Great food and awesome staff! From appetizers to the bread pudding dessert, everything on the menu is great and you can taste the freshness. The staff is super friendly and enhance the dining out experience here. This has been a family favorite for us for several years.

I wanted to like Eddie’s but the manager is not very smart. We felt very unwelcome. I walked 3 blocks in the heat with a baby in a stroller and a 10 year old and the manager literally said “You can’t eat in here.” I had ordered ‘pick up’ but when I arrived I wanted to eat there while the weather cooled and I was very hungry. He said that eating in cost more, but never offered that option, he just sent us out with our food. I would have tipped too. I had to walk the whole family back home in the heat with a stroller. A smart manager would have offered to eat in the restaurant for the difference or a one time exception. Never had that kind of service. Not going back. Next time it’s warehouse pizza.

This is dated October 2021. One of the best Italian food restaurants in Claremont.Weve been regulars here for years and have always received good service and excellent food. They do get busy and the parking situation can be challenging, but its worth it, TRUST ME!Ill get some photos of the menu and food the nest time we visit.This is a solid five star restaurant and I encourage anyone looking for delicious Italian dishes to visit.

Having driven by for many years, we finally made our first trip. We had two types of pizza and the chicken Fondutta (my spelling is wrong). The kids had a standard style pizza, which they liked. The adults had the Detroit style pizza. While I am not a Detroit style fanatic, it was a good pizza, and I would order it again. I did think that it needed chunkier sausage. Good beer selection, including local beers. The chicken pasta dinner was good. I was surprised by how good it was, actually. I will go back to Eddies, and I do recommend it.

Omg the food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. If you tell him its your first time they are you get a free order of garlic knots. There are so many delicious things to choose from on the menu I want to go everyday for a month just so I can try them all. And the portions are giant. Definitely try the blue cheese if you have the salad it is amazing!

I used to think that Eddies was the best place to eat in town and now sometimes I feel like they dont do the best job they have to because they dont have that much competition I was so disappointed in my pizza but I sometimes dont think its their fault I dont know but I dont buy their piece of very often because I cant afford it and I really really look forward to getting it when I do and the crust was soggy and I was just really just appointed I buy thin crust because Im not supposed to eat gluten so when I do its a real treat and to have the crusty soggy is so disappointing other than that the flavor was there because theyre awesome I think theyre one of the best pizzerias around and as far as that goes one of the best Italian restaurants around so I love it is eatery I think theyre great I just was really disappointed the last time I was there

Three times in a row we had ordered from this place and all three times there were items missing. Tonight we ordered a pizza, two pasta dishes and a side of meatballs- the pizza and the meatballs were missing. When I called the restaurant I was put on hold for nearly 15 mins then hung up on. Couldnt wait to go here everytime we went down the hill, but now we will be looking elsewhere. One waiter to Do ALL THE WORK while the Manager watched him struggle. We had a reservation for 16 people. We all had to drive over an hour to get there. Upon our arrival, everyone was thirtsy wanting to sit down and order drinks. Although no one was in the restaurant and 5 employees were standing around doing nothing, we were told we couldnt be seated till all of our party was present.Once we all arrived and sat, we were then told our bill could be split up to 3 checks. How nice of them! Up to 3? Everyone was in couples. This should have been disclosed when we made our reservation.30 minutes after our order was taken, we were advised they were out of fresh mozzarella cheese for the caprese salad. An Italian restaurant out of fresh cheese? Stater BROS was just next door, but they said they were also short staffed.I will never go back to this establishment. We got our soup and salad first, the salad was fine and the soup was warm (should have been hot) but still tasted good. Than we got our dinners, thats right dinners not appetizer. Excellent customer service from Lorena! She assisted me promptly with Mothers Day reservations. When we arrived at Eddies, there were plenty of tables appropriately spaced. The food was out of this world - chicken carbonara as well as the three cheese ravioli and grilled salmon from the Mangia Bene selections. The bourbon bread pudding was a huge slice and delicious. Food is good but way overpriced for this type of restaurant. My bill was over $100 which included 2 glasses of wine and two entrees plus a bowl of soup for a party of 3. TERRIBLE SERVICE. We get there around 7pm and get seated at a corner booth, towards the side, only to be completely FORGOTTEN. The blonde waitress with a ponytail (sorry I didnt get her name) was covering the area we were in, but was vocal about the fact we were sat in her area and provided waters prior to her coming to our table . . She was insistent she needed help, which I thought she got with the waters and bread basket. She was adamant she wasnt going to be our waitress - yes when you were complaining we did hear you! I had a strange experience with them recently, so Im hoping that writing the review will help correct problems. I made an order for home delivery. Usually, it takes about 45 minutes for the delivery to arrive. Having worked in food service, Im well acquainted with how it takes about 20 minutes to put together and cook a pizza. And usually, all is fine. Not so this time. After 45 minutes, I thought perhaps something had gone wrong with my order online. No biggie. So, I called. I was told the order just came in. So, I said okay, well, thats a long time, but fine. They said, see you soon! Then, after another 47 minutes, I called again. After I asked and there was some conversation, I heard, Shes just going to have to wait! in the background. Granted, it could have completely been another person they were yelling about. Then, the person on the phone said, We didnt guarantee when we would deliver. Thats true. They did not. But, after an hour and a half, Im not really convinced its inappropriate for me to call. I simply said I wasnt complaining but wondered what might be happening. A little under fifteen minutes later, my food arrived. It was fine, although one of the pizzas was a little cool, which makes me think maybe it sat there for a bit. Ive been a really good customer, and I guess I expected a bit more. Perhaps an apology? I dunno. The delivery guy was perfectly pleasant but would not look me in the eye and dropped my food very quickly at the door and basically ran away, which is not usual either, all in under thirty seconds. Im hoping they just had a bad day. But, I think maybe Ill frequent some other places for awhile, when I do get pizza. I think its all about the apology, not the weird lateness, for me. And I just didnt get one.

Ive been there once and ordered the chicken parm, for the price the portion is very small given it was take out, portion sizes may be different in the restaurant, but chicken parm with like three bites of spaghetti is ridiculous. Quality wise the taste was alright, maybe average at best, the chicken was kinda hard so it was clearly pre-cooked or severely overcooked. Sorry for being harsh but it really wasnt good.

This by far has got to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the Inland Empire. I took my mother there for mothers day and every single solitary thing that we tried was absolutely delicious. We started off with some minestrone soup that was so delicious that my mother ordered a quart to go. We decided to go with the non-traditional vs the classic american standards you see on a American Italian menu. So we ordered a few of the items on the menu that were more Italy base in concept. I ordered a fish dish, mom ordered the chicken picatta, we both had the minestrone. Neither one of us are big bread eaters but we both split a roll and they were fresh and delicious. The good was impeccable, the flavors were outstanding, The pasta and the the sauces are fresh and homemade.The waiters are well-trained and it was just over all one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I cant recommend this place enough. I wish I could keep it my own little secret, because it is by far a good little italy style restaurant. My mothers comment was that the dish that she tried took her back to Italy, She took a trip a few years ago to the country and just fell in love with the food. Overall I cant say enough good things about this restaurant we will definitely be back my mother doesnt live in this area but one of this request that she has made us at any time that she visits she wants a reservation made at Eddies.

We dined here Christmas Eve. Service and food met our expectations. We stared off with wine and stuffed mushrooms followed by salad and garlic toast (Eddies has excellent bread). Main courses were Three Cheese Penne, Salmon Griglia and Cioppino. All were excellent. Merry Christmas to everyone at Eddies.

Toured Italy last summer, thought eddies food was much more desirable. Perfectly cooked and crispy pizzas, the Arabiatta sauce on there penne dish is prestine and there wine selection... oooooooooo boy, one of the finest in the area. They even offer local breweries on tap. Couldnt ask for better service either. Just an all around score.
