This is the top Cantonese style Chinese restaurant in all of Fremont. And as a native San Franciscan that lived near Chinatown, this restaurant can easily compete with any of them. Once I found this place which is across from Ohlone College in an alley, it took me back to my childhood living at eating in San Francisco. Prices are very reasonable and the owner, Fanny, makes sure you have a pleasant experience at her restaurant. The place is small so take out is recommended if you have a large group. The restaurant is very clean and quiet. They have a three item menu for $27.00 which lets you pick almost anything on the menu. Portions are large so the three item menu can easily feed a family of four big eaters. Great hole-in-the-wall place and is a hidden jewel. Try their tomato beef dishes. It is just like SF Chinatown but only better and without all the grease. Very highly recommended!
Tried EE Home-cooking for the first time today. I had Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s Chicken and Steamed Rice. The Taste was Good, the Portions Large, and the Price was Very Reasonable. I plan to go back and try some other dishes, too.
New owners! The food was amazing! All the dishes we had were full of flavor. This is a tucked away hidden gem. Very cozy and casual setting with exquisite food. Service was attentive,warm, and welcoming. Have to try it.

Ordered General Tso Chicken with side of rice on a Sunday little past noon. Food was prepared fresh and was very tasty. Chicken was tender and lathered in sauce, no bones or chewy pieces. Only down side was no lunch combo. Curiously the to-go box had corner cuts in the top which juices could potentially leak out. Overall experience was very good.

One of my favorite restaurants near my house. The food there is tasty, and the lady is friendly. I like sweet and sour chicken 甜酸雞 🍗and scrambled eggs with shrimp 蝦仁炒蛋 🍤🥚 ❤️❤️❤️

3 ENTREE DISHES FOR UNDER $30 DOLLARS.If you love Chinese home cooking then look no further, this place is the bomb diggity.Ill address the only downside first which is the place is small with about 8 tables that can sit groups of 2-4 maybe 6 if you squeeze. Buttttt Chinese food is just as good for takeout anyway ;) also they close on Wednesdays.Aside from that, excellent food, generous portions, great service, and its not ca$h only! What more can you ask for?!Im a super fan of their sweet and sour pork and black bean fish fillet. But honestly, everything looks good. An entree per person is about right if youre a hearty eater and save the carbs as a side or add on to your 3 main entrees.Highly recommend dining here if youre in the mood for delicious food.
The shrimp fried rice was a disappointment. The fried rice has a couple of shrimps and along with it, some simple and basic fried rice. For the price the dish commands you can find better stuff in the area.

Definitely one of my favorite places to get Chinese food in Fremont.Place is small with a few tables but most people seem to take it to go. If you dine in though, you get the soup of the day! Soup is typically a clear herby broth. Food is flavorful, portions are decent, and service is great and fast. I love the sweet shanxi fish fillet (tastes almost like sweet and sour fish) as well as their black bean fish. But really, you cant go wrong with anything you order here!!!In addition they have lunch specials on weekdays (except Wednesday because they are closed) and accept credit cards with no extra charge!

2018-10-14 20:45:05Ordered the seafood tofu hot pot with rice and soup. The soup was an unusual birds nest soup with yam and corn on the cob. Before I was half done with the soup, the hot pot was ready! The squid was tender and the shrimp tasted fresh. The fish filet wasnt overcooked. It was served piping, burning hot - perfect. Note that you can ask the chef for less salt or less oil - professional Chinese chefs are never offended if you ask for small adjustments. The total came to $13.02 after tax. Service was fast and friendly. The only improvement I could ask for is better attention to cleanliness (having to shoo two flies while eating ruins the experience). Otherwise, a solid five stars. Ill be back to try their lunch specials.

2022-06-27 19:07:05Got the black bean chicken with egg fried rice lunch special and it was delicious. Came with egg-drop soup with corn and I paid $17 for everything. Chicken and the rice were both great and Ill be back again to try the clay pot. Big portions as well so I feel like the price is fair
