This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly, the aquarium they have is so nice and adds to the ambiance of this small, but fantastic place. The food is delicious and very well priced, plus they have a nice sized menu. This is mine and my wifes new favorite Chinese food place, and were both big on Chinese food!

I’ve been here probably close to 50 times, and I’ve tried a lot of their dishes, every single one was great. Some are better than others, but none of them slipped into the average category. Can’t believe this place isn’t bigger, the food here is much better than other larger Chinese restaurants

The owner was really nice and polite. Especially for an affordable Chinese restaurant. The hearts on the menu show whats healthy, its rare you can find a Chinese food place with dishes that are not oily or overwhelmingly salty. The honey walnut shrimp was too sweet for my taste. But the place was good.

We found our new go-to spot for Chinese food! We have been searching for a good orange chicken, which feels like it should be easy to find, but it was not. This place had great orange peel chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and house special (beef, chicken, and shrimp) lo mein. The honey walnut shrimp was a little too citrusy for my taste, but was good with some soy sauce. Lo mein was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the hot and sour soup too. The folks who served us were prompt, kind, and smiley. We had a great experience from start to finish and will definitely be back.

Disappointing!!! Our first time taking food away from there and probably last time. We asked a chicken with vegetables, as I cannot eat flour. And... surprise!!! Even without saying this on the menu, the chicken was tasteless and with flour!!! Rice tasting nothing... A waste of money.

Szechwan beef was absolutely amazing, ordered shrimp fried rice, egg rolls and egg drop soup. Would absolutely return if we were not here on vacation. I sure wish someone would teach people in Florida how to make Chinese food because this was top-notch. The waiter, who apparently was a delivery driver filling in for the waiter who is in the hospital was very polite and very helpful and friendly. We were able to dine in, however, while we were there, it became so busy that they had to only except to go orders, and this does happen often. I would suggest calling ahead of time to make sure you can dine in.

The place is small but they serve the best shrimp fried rice. The price was surprisingly very affordable and the serving was very generous. I also ordered Sweet and sour fish which was also delicious. The service was very good. The restaurant manager was extremely attentive to all we needed From water to go boxes. I can’t wait to go back and try their other food.

I recently read such good reviews about this restaurant, I had to try it. The first thing I noticed was how lovely the restaurant is decorated and furnished. We each ordered a lunch special; Orange Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein. Both came with rice, an egg roll and a wonton with dipping sauces. It was delicious! The food was beautifully plated and more than we could finish, so our server packaged our leftovers to go for us. (I love it when they do it for you.) The staff was so friendly and accommodating.Well definitely be back. Cant wait to try other dishes on the menu.

I love Egg Roll King! Their egg flower soup is amazing, as is everything else that Ive tried. My go-tos are usually Cashew Chicken, Garlic Chicken, or House Special Chicken. Had the Chicken Egg Roll one time and thought, yep...they can keep their title! Having delivery in HB is also wonderful, but the wait times are usually over an hour so you better have planned ahead (actually, this rule even goes for pick-up) as they are very popular and make everything fresh. Will continue to support and recommend, but I am trying to find a back-up place for when I want Chinese more last-minute and dont want to eat at 9pm. Staff is great and friendly!

Service is good and their prices are reasonable. They recently redecorated and its always clean. The only thing holding me back on that fifth star, is that twice Ive had to ask them to remake something (an order of chicken fried rice that had no chicken, and an order of potstickers that were over cooked almost to the point of being burnt.) But the manager/owner is great about wanting his customers to enjoy their meal.

This is probably the best Chinese food Ive ever had. Every dish we tried was amazing and the portions were huge! The prices are so cheap we were shocked. What was expected to be $70 worth of food came out to under $40. If I lived closer I would eat here every week. Will definitely be coming back.

By far one of the best Chinese food! The meat was juicy and fresh. BUT! The best part of my experience is the skilled and nicest waiter. He is top on guest experience (Disneyland level and beyond!) We had an issue but he solved it while having a big honest smile on his face.Tip: Go with friends and order different plates so you can all try them!Tip2: Try the house beef!

If youre looking for an amazing Chinese food restaurant look no further. Wow do I love this place.The food is great and at a price thats hard to match. I go in for lunch all the time. Its family owned and everyone is very friendly. I love to dine at a place that I know I can bring my family to have a great meal everytime no matter what.Its also a place when I have visitors I can take them for a wonderful meal and I never have to worry about them not finding something theyll eat (fish, veggies, beef, chicken, and pork)My favorite dish is the Kung Pao Chicken -extra hot and with lunch you get the egg roll and a wonton. The egg rolls are always crispy and never soggy, won tons have a nice crunch to them as well. The kung pao is well tossed and the chicken is excellent without any of the cartilage that I have found in so many cheap chinese places. In fact the beef is just as great for the same reasons and both are never stringy or too chewy. My family loves the House Special Chicken and Orange peel beef (though we switch the meats around sometimes)What sets this place apart from being just great food is the owner. Tom is nice to talk to, always friendly, and you can see it from the moment you walk in he cares about his business and his customers. I keep coming back over and over and I recommend you do as well.

I found Egg Roll King to be pretty good. I started with Won Ton soup which was good. The egg roll was not the best I ever had, but was more than just tolerable. If you need a quick fix on Chinese food and not want to go to a chain place. A small shop on the corner of Adams and Brookhurst, located in a strip mall. They have some really good and cheap lunch specials, but if you get there too late they have decent priced dinner plates and they are large enough for two or three people(or one and a half me). Ive been here a few times, the first time I had a couple lunch specials and a few nights ago I ordered the garlic chicken. The chicken was off the dinner menu and it was enough for 2 meals.Small place so you might have to wait a few minutes to get seated or served, depending on how busy they are.The last time I went there were 2 girls working the front. Im going to go with college girls, because they were cute. They were friendly and sure made waiting for my food a whole lot better :P

I hesitate to say to much because of a fear that this little jem will become not so much a hidden treasure.The service is very friendly and personal, the food is phenomenal everthing we have had here is exceptional down to the hot&sour soup, which by the way the cup is like a half gallon. Ive been eating here for years. The food is consistently good and they will make it any way you want it. The Mongolian Beef is amazing at Egg Roll King but I love spicy Chinese food so I was always torn. I told Tom (the manager, super nice guy) about my conundrum and he said why dont you get Mongolian Beef spicy. It was perfect!! They will add an ingredient to any of their dishes (think Kung Pao chicken with mushrooms or brocolli). They deliver and their take out is great. Try it!!!

We dined in. It is a very small restaurant inside with only a few tables, but it did have a non-stop line for pickup orders. The employees were friendly and kept our water glasses filled. The crunchy noodles with sweet and sour dipping sauce and hot mustard was a nice touch for an appetizer as we waited on our meal. I loved the sweet and sour chicken, and my husband said the Schezwan beef was ok, but the chicken chow mein was a letdown. I thought chow mein would have a lot of vegetables and some noodles. This was all noodles, with a very, very few shreds of vegetables. If we go back, I will order only sweet and sour dishes, as that chicken was awesome!
