2023-11-21 14:41:59I came specifically for the Chilaqueles!! Couldnt decide between red and green so I went with half and half, both were so delicious. My husband however had the trio burrito and that too was delicious. The salsa is home made and it came with a side of rice and beans which were also delicious. Portion of the food was good size too.Loved the atmosphere and service, you can tell this place has regulars because the hostess was greeting some of them by name. If I lived here I would definitely be a regular too! Hostess (also our waitress) was great too, very attentive and super friendly.

2023-06-14 14:11:31Unassuming hole-in-the-wall that surprised us with an amazing breakfast. Prices are great, the food was delicious, and the portions were huge! I definitely recommend this spot to locals and tourists alike for great, affordable eats. We went on a Sunday morning and there was no wait. There is a small kids menu available.Parking is small as it is in a strip mall, and the other option would be to park on the street. At the time we went, parking was not an issue, though Im not sure what are the peak hours.

2023-07-22 18:37:34Don’t judge a book by its cover! The outside is not much of a looker also the inside space is a little small so probably not for big groups. But food tasted great, and the portions were big especially for the price. The staff was super nice and friendly. We had the chilaquiles and the house omelette

The eggs are perfectly cooked, the salsa has amazing flavor, the hash browns are crispy and fresh. If you are looking for a good breakfast, at affordable cost, this is it. They have amazing other items in the menu.Service is 10 out of 10, the guys are very attentive and polite. It’s an enjoyable meal for sure.

2023-09-18 17:45:08I dropped in (I’m from out of town) and found a goldmine! Great, friendly service and delicious food. Beef omelet was chock full of fresh ingredients and iced coffee was perfect. A family friendly atmosphere where you can talk to the “regulars” if you want. Everyone is happy to be here—both regulars and newcomers. HIGHLY highly recommend this little local place.

2023-08-01 14:10:26This is a little hole-in-the-wall with 10 tables for breakfast and lunch. This restaurant has its quirks, but was an enjoyable experience overall.I arrived abut 20 minutes after they opened (7am), the lights were out, but the door was open. There was no waitress or hostess. The cook came from the back and took my order. The waitress showed up about 10 minutes later.I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. It came with toast and hashbrowns. I was not asked what bread I wanted, and got white toast. The food was decent and flavorful. The sawmill gravy was one of the best I found in LA. It had small chunks of sausage and plenty of pepper. The service is friendly, but not attentive. I had to go up to the register to grab utensils.
