The most phenomenal, flavorful tacos you will ever eat! I can’t begin to tell you about that first bite of al pastor - simply amazing. And they were presented on a platter accompanied with bone marrow. Ridiculous! Fajitas were delicious, too! You NEED to go here and taste for yourself. And the butcher next door - they know what they’re doing. Got some steaks that were incredible. We’re sold - going back again without a doubt.

Been wanting to try this place and it was pretty good. Had the mole enchiladas, which were good. Very tasty mole sauce. Served with white rice and refried black beans, which they call black bean puree. The chips were good, and the salsa was really spicy! A bit too spicy for this gringo but I still finished all of it! The only disappointing part was I ordered a strawberry refresher drink; it was basically just strawberry flavored water. Wasnt very appealing. The restaurant was kinda stark and bare, just tables and booths with empty walls. Walls could use some kind of flair. But Ill definitely be back to try something more adventurous in the future.

We’re in town from San Diego for a couple of days to hike around Joshua tree so of course we were hungry when we got back and found this nice restaurant near our hotel at the Hilton Doubletree. The service was awesome and the food was amazing. I highly recommend it! The beef flautas were delicious and my vegetarian wife got a wonderful bean quesadilla!

First Time here and we definitely are gonna be back! Everything was really good, taste was Amazing and our server was really kind. Like I said, it was our first time and nothing disappointed me. The Elotes A Las Brasas were Sooo good 1000/10. St. Louis style Ribs were good too, I thought they were gonna be small ribs but I was amazed at the size even tho I only got the half rack!!! Price were good for what we ate.

Fabulous local treasure across the street from the Double Tree Golf Resort. Very well prepared, delicious food in a warm inviting place. The Asada platter for two was incredible. The short ribs, shrimp, burrito and whole fried fish were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Thank goodness the front desk steered us to this lovely location for our best meal in a week in this area. Highly recommend.

Worst Mexican restaurant and over priced. I ordered shrimp tacos. They were extremely dry. Sauce on taco a little drip of it. Green cheese enchilada were not gooey at all. Yet again there was no green sauce on the enchilada.Beans and rice were extremely bland. Authenticity was asleep at this restaurant. Dont waste your time coming here not worth it

Small business, family owned. All the salsas and meats were delicious!! Even the bread served was toasted to perfection. Highly recommend. We had the asado for two and it was delicious. Even had enough leftover for a doggy bag.

El asado is a different type of vibe. So relaxing, the food is delicious and freshly made. The pozole verdad hits the spot with this cold weather. And you can never go wrong with Homemade HORCHATA!!

My friend and I were in PS for a few days of a warm getaway. We wanted sun and a few good dinners out. El Asado Meat Market and Mexican Grill had 4.3 stars on Google and we like good Mexican food. Not over cheesed, heavy chain Mexican, but fresh authentic Mexican. Well, this place is beyond good Mexican food!!! We ended up eating here 2 out of 4 dinners in PS. THATS how good this place is. Ive never had such great quality food in a Mexican/Latin restaurant . Its a modest place which can mean secretly great or meh...Happily it was the former. I dont know what they Do to that meat but its outstanding! This is Not your typical Latin fare. Order something off the house specialties menu. We had 4 separate things over 2 nights and we had bites of each others food and couldnt decide which was the best meal because it was ALL so good. We had a different server each night and followed their recommendations, which were good. They were both well versed in the menu and perfectly described to us the differences and nuances of the food they serve. My friend said even the glass of cab she had was good!

The cook must have been asleep when he started cooking my food. I ordered shrimp tacos & green cheese enchiladas. Tacos were extremely dry, no sauce on taco. Beans and rice are so bland. Enchiladas cheese was not gooey theres was no green sauce. For the prices they have its not worth it. I was expecting more authenticity. Dont waste your time here.

This little out of the way restaurant behind the CVS at VistaChino and Landau is fantastic. I have eaten there twice in the past month. Today I had the Ribeye Steak with black beans and vegetables. The food is amazingly good. Do not be put off by location, atmosphere or prices. The food is great and worth every penny.

The best meat market I have ever bought from nothing compares to the quality and the seasoning I love this place tried it when I was on vacation now I can’t find anything close in my area….I can’t wait to go back on another vacation just to make bbq from this meat market

No flavor in food,very slow service,no air conditioning, very expensive, and waitrees was unprofessional. Do not recommend this restaurants unless you want to wait 2 hours for your food to arrive.

Phenomenal meal!!! Cannot underscore how much we enjoyed the beef in the tacos and fajitas! The guacamole was also superb! David was our server and was delightful! Was in the area for 2 days and ate here twice!

I can guarantee no other meat market in the entire Coachella valley can compete with the quality of the meat that’s available here. They have some of the most unique cuts you will not find anywhere else. Highly recommend.

After being invited by daniel to el asado for a soft opening, previously known as cinco de mayo. We were greeted at the door and informed it was opening seating, service was exceptional. The menu is a blend of tradtional Mexican cuisine while incorporating some the items daniel has available in the meat case right next door at el asado meat market. I had the mole poblano which was packed full of flavor served with a side of white rice which I like because I was able to blend with the extra sauce and a black bean puree. The agua chiles were some of the best Ive had and if youre a spicy seafood lover I definitely would recomed this as a table appetizer or plate for yourself. We also ordered the chimichuri fries implenting fresh herbs and cheese which was a nice change of pace from the norm. I would recommended this restaurant as there is still more to come.

Horrible experience. Menu said 15.99 for 3 enchiladas. I ordered 3 to go and the rude owner gave me a bill for 65.00.He said that he charges for adding chicken. This is absolutely abuse.and will never go back. Wrong neighborhood for these kind of prices. Hope they close their doors

This is my favorite meat market in the whole Coachella valley. They have an amazing choice of quality meats. The costumer service has always been great as well. I would totally recommend this meat market and restaurant.
