One of the best food I have ever eaten. it was a delicious my kids loved it. The pasta was great bread and Bardar was great and fresh. the appetizer was very good. I love it here. Come back to try another food here. The price was reasonable. my wife and I finished our Whole Foods and my son ate lots of his dishes.

It use to be a place for great food at reasonable price. At my last visit, I paid $90 (tip included) for two soups and two lunch plates. My friend was in disbelief. Still a good place if you crave Peruvian food.

A no-frills, super authentic Peruvian restaurant that tastes like it does in Peru. Ceviche, lomo saltado, tallarín, and the pollo a la brasa are excellent. Great for a big group as portions are generous.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, generous portions. Beer and wine. Hole-in-the-wall ambience. A real find. Friendly staff. Great place to hang out. Primarily Peruvian with several Italian dishes on the last page of the menu. Ive been to a lot of Peruvian restaurants all over the country. This is a solid choice.

Check your bill before you pay!!!! And use your calculator if needed!!The lady owner who charge increase prices at the bill and charges more/ give wrong changes back!!!In addition service is bad!!!!!!!! Plus place is no clean as suppose to be! Food mmmm I prefer 100% el mono rest. That is close by!As a Peruvians this type of service disappoint me!!! Unbelievable that now a days people still do that!!

Reviews are very deceiving! Food is ok. Prices are a not cheap for what they offer. We ordered the typical lomo saltado, and it was good. Nice portion and seasoning, fair price. Not worth the drive.A portion of Pollo a la brasa (rotisserie chicken)... only a tiny quarter of a very dry, overcooked chicken, no resemblance to Peruvian rotisserie chicken, maybe just the appearance... the flavor is totally different, not in a positive way... overpriced for the portion size, and quality. We started with Ocopa as appetizer... doesn’t look or taste like ocopa. Inexpensive, but not tasty at all. The starter soup (kind of an aguadito) was delicious and flavorful. Restaurant itself it’s very humble and small. Owners, the cook is Peruvian, and the wife and waitress is from El Salvador, they look like nice people.

Good stuff. First time at any Peruvian place but its also Italian (weird, not sure why but maybe thats normal?) Hole in the wall type atmosphere but very light and bright. My food and my wifes food almost seemed like a mix of Latin and Asian. I got roast beef with a tomato based beef sauce with a hint of Cilantro. Meat was tender and shredded apart easily. It came with flavorful rice AND mashed potatoes (which was more chunky with hint of garlic as opposed to a whisked creamy type). A bunch of the kids in our group got Italian stuff and it looked and smelled good. They served hot French bread too.What looked like the cooks came out and were very friendly. Server was helpful. Prices seemed a tad high but local fresh food aint cheap so I think its warranted. I highly recommend it.

Good food. Mussels were fantastic. Lamb stew was excellent. Nice staff, ordered the purple corn punch and they gave me samples of that, a passion fruit punch snd a house blend. Nice. Zip ambience a real hole in the wall. But I will be coming back.

My favorite Peruvian restaurant! But surprisingly, also a delicious Italian restaurant! My favorites are the Asado de Carne, Chupe de Camarones, and Lasagna (and I am a lasagna fanatic, so its hard to make it to the top of my list like this). The restaurant has a small quaint feel to it, but it is so worth going here for the food! Also make sure you get the Alfajores cookies, they are so delicious! We always have to take extras home with us when we leave. You cant eat just one! So good, highly recommend this restaurant.

Yes, indeed, and its delicious! Their special roasted chicken is to die for! The Peruvian dish, with long cooked chicken and potatoes is another favorite. Good Peruvian food at reasonable price.Best place for budget Peruvian food in the East Bay.The place is nothing fancy but the food is consistantly good. Cheap food, great quality, authentic taste and big portion sizes! Don’t even need the menu, just get the roasted chicken with all the sides, traditional style.

Bad service, the waitress was in a bad mood,her excuse was that she was tired. It doesn’t matter what is going on in your life, people expect good service. On top on that, I wanted to use the bathroom but was denied access because it was “out of service” I had to go across the street to use the gas station’s bathroom. Never coming back.

Taste great, got both lomo saltado and suprema de pollo, with the biggest piece of chicken i have ever seen, the suprema was breaded fried, and delicious, it came with a small salad fries and steamed rice. The saltado came with red onions, beef, potatoes, sliced red peppers, all stir fried with a side of steamed rice. Amazing i will certainly be back.

One of the best Peruvian Restaurants in town. Highly recommended the traditional ceviche, lomo saltado, rice with seafood, papa a la huancaina, pasta, pollo a la brasa and more.....dont forget to try their delicious desserts such alfajores, picarones and lucuma ice cream.

I didnt know what Peruvian food was like.....i ended up with a combination i did not expect....herbed spaghetti noodles with grilled chicken...not sure if it was a traditional combo or if they just put that together for my undistinguished palate....It was very lightly seasoned which i like, all edible lean pieces of chicken and it was really quite a lot of food for $11.00.
