Fabulous tacos. The lengua is on point. Reasonable price. Far better than those sketchy pop-up unlicensed places.
First time ordering from them. They shorted us tacos and all around messed up on our order. We had ordered certain ones plain for our kids and wanted certain meats with salsa and cilantro. The order was so messed up but I am pregnant and hungry so we just settled with what we had. Check your order before you leave!!!
Great flavor I had everything except Chile relleno and tripas its all excellent. the must have are tostadas simple full of flavor and its like a curve ball. Super kind owner.
Ive tried almost every taco truck in oxnard and this one takes the cake. the meat is so perfectly cooked and seasoned! going to come back at least once a week now !

2023-11-21 05:05:38If youre hesitant about taco trucks or fearful of getting a bad meal; you definitely dont have to worry about this truck. The food here is delicious and as close to Grandmas as your going to get. Ive been in search of the perfect Chile Reno burrito for years. I am close to ending my search. This is year 6 of my search, and El Forastero is tied for 1st place so far. For now, at least in Ventura county, this truck is my weekly go to for a fresh fast meal. Thank you, Victor, for the great food and wonderful customer service.

Tortillas used are store bought as well.Customer service is outstanding though, especially for a food truck. Id say Juarez taco truck is slightly better in my opinion. Or Las Bonitas. Definitely not a bad choice though.

2020-06-28 04:24:11Stopped here because of reviews and location is close to home. Menu was diverse with multiple choices from tacos, chili rellenos, tostadas, etc. Wife ordered three carne asada tacos plus side of beans. I ordered a tostada and one taco of lengua. Meat in tacos was flavorful and plentiful and was served with grilled onions on the side plus onions and salsa either red or green on top. Wife loved the red salsa while I thoroughly enjoyed the green salsa. Wife said the red salsa was a perfect spiciness. Corn tortillas were good. You also get slices of cucumber plus sliced lemons. Ladies working in truck were very nice and friendly. Truck is parked on the South side of the Shell gas station. Wife said this is her new favorite taco place. We both recommend El Forastero for good reasonably priced Mexican food.

2022-01-15 14:37:44I was in a hurry and was sick of the chain restaurant and pulled over to this taco truck. The lights enticed me and the food was great. Ive had tacos a few times, always fresh. The salsa was just right. My last time I had a Torta that was fantastic! Ive been there a few times now. A family run small business that have great customer service and decent prices.

If not, you would be disappointed and drive around looking for a taco truck and get stuck settling for a spot that looks like a night club on wheels... 2021-09-18 01:27:48I live in Oxnard and Ive tried about 10 taco trucks. These are the BEST in Ventura County. Meat is so moist and the salsa is to die for. Ive been coming for years now. I usually get the tacos de lengua, asada and biria. Everythings delicious.
