This is definitely not a good place for a quick stop. They have very little variety of everything, almost no berries of any kind in their produce section, and everything is somehow slightly more expensive than other markets that sell the exact same items. The parking is absolutely terrible. It took over 20 minutes of driving around to find parking. Its very congested, and they also have a lot of people just hanging out in their vehicles in the parking lot. At least 4 vehicles I saw had folks inside their vehicles with their windows rolled up and windshield covered. The lines to pay were also terrible. The store is so small that all the lines were clashing with aisles, and they moved so incredibly slow. My quick trip turned into an almost 3 hour long trip. This is my local El Super, and I will now be planning my shopping trips away from this location after this experience.

Just went for the Burrito and the service was Excellent. The Burrito 🌯 probably needs 5 more stars, this is definitely a 10 star item.I got a lemon water to wash it down it was perfect 👌.But dont miss out come try ot yourself and share your thoughts.

Bought items for breakfast. Sausage was expired and when I opened it REAKED of such a bad smell. Started to check out the other items I bought and although some were not expired, they still had a nasty flavor. Strawberry cream cheese looked like it was out if the fridge for a while. Im returning all the items and not coming back.

The store is ok. Nothing extraordinary, I generally get veggies, fruits, meats, Mexican bread. In the court food I have try most of the items for lunch and dinner also the breakfast menu, and I like to order the scramble egg burrito by itself without beans and rice, just when I do it they make it to small and the price is the same as a regular burrito, is that fair? I dont think so

The service is getting ready bad with the cashier and the meat department. They are always super slow. It look like they have 1 person in the meat department area. They also talk to you mean and with a bad attitude. Hopefully they can do something about that or maybe they can train them again so they can learn how to treat a customer

This location is convenient for me that is the only reason I go. Purchased Noplaes ( cactus) to my surprise when I arrived home to prepare my family’s dinner I found maggots inside of them absolutely disgusted. The employees in the meat market are constantly bickering among themselves about break times instead of them actually working. The produce department is never kept up floors are dirty. When it’s time to pay there’s only two lanes open. Management really needs to step up.

Sometimes its great and fast. Other times, its slow with only 2 or 3 registers open. Sometimes theres a line, depending on the day. Parking here sucks. Save yourself a headache and park outside. EDIT: Still slow! Still usually 2 or 3 registers open during peak times. Parking isnt too bad anymore, but I would still recommend parking on the street if you dont like waiting.

The service here is terrible. I only have 3 items and it took 20 mins for the cashier to return to her post after helping a customer out. I understand that the customer comes first, but if its taking more than 5 or 10 minutes to price check then they should get one of the other workers or managers to help the cashier out. I will not be returning here.

Low prices, clean, and lately well stocked in good produce. The following is constructive suggestion/ criticism...they do need to clean out the produce that is going bad more often and fix their irrigation system. Its sad to see food go to waste because of overwatering. One last thing, it is unsightly to find the herbs section in such a disarray. They dont look fresh when not inserted in the trays properly....they wither.

Nice place to go for cheaply priced produce although other places may have slightly better prices during days of specials. Here, Wednesday is your better bet for cheap prices and fresh produce as this is their restocking day. For meats in the meat area, I have had mixed situations. At times, Ive received fresh beef and chicken while at others Ive received spoiled meat too. I buy my meat elsewhere now just in case. I may try it again some other time. I recommend to go with the knowledge of selecting your produce at all times. You will need it here as most of the produce, being fresh, is bought still in its immature state. Pineapples are always green here and highly acidic. I get my pineapple at Alameda Swapmeet instead. Tomatoes can be too mature at times and best consumed that day or in 2 days at most. Again, go with the knowledge of selecting your produce to steer away from low quality foods.

Theres a lot of bakery items. Have were you can get sliced desserts for individuals. Have a good selection of already prepared food. Not to good selection of vegetables. Not a great variety of canned food. Dont have to much canned food if your looking for some American selection. Not a great frozen food selection either.

El Super in Lynwood, California is a pretty well kept up store. Clean, neat, organized and well lit. The people dont really acknowledge you if you happen to walk by them. The cashier was nice and seemed to be pretty efficient at her work. The music playing on the sound system was Mexican Ranchera. Theres a service deli at the entrance of the store where you can buy all kinds of Mexican delicacies. Ceviche, salsa, different meats cooked in different ways, beans and rice and guacamole. They also have a place with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat the food you just bought. Overall pretty cool place to shop for groceries and/or eat. Just know that they dont necessarily have enough cashiers. They have a good assortment of drinks in the coolers behind the registers.

Its a hispanic grocery store. You have a variety of traditional mexican ingredients from cow tongue to cactus. The prices are super cheap. The quality and freshness isnt superb, but its not horrible either. You definitely get what you pay for here.

Always look at dates its been 4 times I find expired food the first one was a jericaya I told one of the managers, then later that day I had to go back and it was still there. Second time it was the cheese whiz for nachos its been 3 times I find it expired I actually take off the expired jars and give it to the manager but im sure if you walk in there right now there will be some expired.
