It was a good store until customer service has gotten so poor. There is a checker who is disrespectful and a horrible employee. I dont think Ill be returning again. And Im going to let friends and family know also. We can shop somewhere else. Some employees ruin it for everyone. I hope in the future you train employees to be respectful towards customer. Especially the checker in the photo.

BEWARE when buying food from them. I bought a chicken tender from them and after I ate half I noticed the chicken was RAW!!! I went back to let the employees know so they can check the other chicken tenders, that they had ready to serve and the supervisor did not really care. Serving raw chicken can make someone very sick and cause food poisoning and I feel like they did not take my complaint serious at all. I think they still continued to serve the chicken tinders even after I brought the issue to them. I will never buy food from them again!

Horrible place the ladies at the kitchen so rude and mean!!! Let’s not talk about the manager super rude!! There’s always long lines because they don’t have enough lines open to pay!! My mom worked there and they treated her horrible just because she wouldn’t let herself from other workers!! They wouldn’t give her enough hours but yet they keep hiring more ppl it’s insane!!! Also ppl don’t last their working because the work environment is just horrible!!!

This place is HORRIBLE. There are ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS HUGE LINES WITH 2 REGISTERS open. I have got twice to go get 5 or less items and ALWAYS take more than 20 minutes to check out. I asked for another register to be opened because it was packed and was given an attitude. Never again.

The prices for food here is good. I prefer this el super to the one on Sierra. It’s pretty clean and organized. Line for meat and deli can be long sometimes but other than that this place is nice. Staff is friendly!

While everyone has been cordial..when I asked for a simple glass of water while dining in there area I was told its not allowed...I would have to buy bottle is what I was told..which I 🤔 thought was absolutely unacceptable if I am doing there....would restaurants tell there patrons to buy bottled water when asking for a glass of water the answer is NO!!Please consider a policy change for this while dining there at your place.Chef D

This is our go-to kitchen lol. No really they have good sandwiches on the go. Comes in a pack of lunch. Its a torta bag of chips and a can of soda for five bucks. Cant beat it. Its fresh the lettuce, the tomatoes and the cheese and the ham. Everything tastes really good. My kids love it. Theres also fruit on the go you could take and tamales which are better than Cardenas. I must say that Cardenas tamales are dry, small and just very expensive for no apparent reason. Im sure you will enjoy this place. They also have caldo de pollo and de res.Biggest burrito de carnitas mmmm so much flavor!! Lots of hot food to enjoy on a place to enjoy it. Where you could sit down. Quick bites n go..Take a load off and just decompress from the long day. Enjoy!

Always have bad customer service in hot food service. Today Maria manager on hot food service had a very bad attitude. I asked if the green juice was fresh and instead she replied with Dont you see theirs a line theres other people before you in a very disrespectful way rolling her eyes with attitude. The only couple in line asked me nicely please go infront of us we havent even decided what we want feeling bad for me.

I went in and bought some pre packaged chicken. When I got home and was going to prepare it 🤮Omg.... the smell was terrible. It was so bad I seriously almost threw up. I just threw it away. I was not going to drive anywhere with that odor. So I called to let them know so they could make sure to check all other packages and the person who answered was a bit rude and not even a simple apology. I called back about 5 minutes later, asking to speak to the manager. She wasnt aware of the situation yet. The first lady I spoke to didnt even communicate it to her. Terrible experience and wont be going back

Always get my bodaro rolls at Superior for years now, but decided to stop here at El Super for them. BAD CHOICE! Not only more expensive, but hard as rocks! Tried heating them, and they got chewy. Very old bread. Not fresh, probably because of being overpriced! Never again! You may think six bodaro rolls is no big deal, but to family, it is. Wouldnt eat them! A ruined meal because of El Super and stale, old rolls!

Their prices are good. Its usually busy. The customers are friendly. Cant say the same as the security guard. Been in there several times, I walk so my shopping is in a cart. Been in there several times. Hadnt been a problem until today. Security guard told me I couldnt bring my bags on the cart in or had to leave them with him. Not happening. Im not leaving my shopping with some random guard. He told me hed follow me, told him so do it. He got an employee, I told her I hadnt had a problem previously, I continued shopping. They both disappeared. Got my items and went to pay for them. Looked around and bought more last week. Because of his harassing bought only a few. Bought the rest at stater bros. They didnt bother me or say anything about my things and bags.

OMGoodness, well I dont buy my meat here anymore, I try not to shop here at all. I have bought, at different times mind you, groceries and they go bad quickly even after storing them at proper temperatures. I never had this problem in L.A. but this location needs TLC the meat section gives off a bad smell as soon as you approach. The deli section needs better care... The shelves have rust and its not cold enough because you can see the gases have built up in the packaged goods. It needs a good upgrade.

On Wednesday when they put most of the specials they should be prepared with enough cashiers, but instead the lines are long and only have 3 cashiers open. I called and ask for the manager to see if they can open more registers and she said no they cant and thats how the store will remain.....pretty rude from a manager to think that 3 registers are enough for about 15-20 people in each line.

All the workers on break decided to cut in front of me when I was on my way to work I just wanted to order coffee they were laughing saying its just going to be a quick order for them i stood in line for 20 min. I didnt get names because their name tags find have names on them. Managers arent doing their jobs, keep your workers from doing this it looks bad on your store. Im going to Cardenas from now on.

I love el super!...they have some of the best prices on fruits and veggies...cuts of meat are becoming more varied which is good because if I want to cook Asian I dont always want to go all the way to the Asian market in rancho. Its actually kept real clean...but then I go and drop cilantro all over the floor ugh...just bare with them during covid lines appear long but theyre really not. Best time to go is painfully Saturday mornings hahaha the secret is out .

My wife a Korean lady frequently visits this El Super market near Sierra & Foothill (Fontana) for groceries. She carries her wallet and so on in a back packet for the past 20 years. Today she entered this Spanish store and the guard was very mean and picked only her out of incoming customers and wanted her to allow them to inspect her pack and then store it up front with her money,etc in it. Then he wanted to follow her around the store-whats up with this. She told him that she has a heart problem and he said I dont care it is your personal issue. I never heard of this unprofessional treatment before. I am getting a lawyer to talk to them. I even called later to talk to there manager and he would not connect me to the manager. This is racial / unprofessional and offensive treatment by a small guard with an attitude. Something needs to be done. They say later that they have a sign about back packs and purses somewhere --- It was never over 5 years of shopping ever noted before.Please be careful with this kind of folks out there. Yes we will never shop there again. We need to think of Ralphs and so on from now on.
