Happy to see non-pork dumplings option in the menu. The shrimp dumplings with green chives tasted okay. Steamed buns were tasty. Mixed vegetable chow mein was like 80% vegetables, more noodles would definitely be nice.

(Update worse the next date eat while fresh)So I specifically came here for soup dumplings (reviews) and sadly I was disappointed. They are small and the wasnt ANY soup 😕. The inside filling had a weird texture. I also got sesame chicken in asked for light seasme and as you can see its COMPLETELY COVERED. I got Mongolian beef which had no spicy to it and a kind of different taste. I got the garlic fried rice (add chicken wont add it again) it was good. Mix veggie chow mein was good. Lots of veggies.. chicken/napa dumplings were ok. Potstickers were good. They have a redish orange spicy sauce which was ok, Chile oil was different, also like a black vinegar super sour, and of course soy. Portion sizes we ok. Prices not too bad. 7 items for about 88 bucks. About 15 -20min wait. Might try them again dont know.

Ordered vegetarian pot stickers, steamed rice, sweet & sour chicken and fresh noodle w. Tomato & egg soup. 7/10 for everything except for the noodle soup. The noodle soup was bland, literally tomato cut into 4 pieces and egg thrown into hot water. No seasoning or salt. First time having this dish so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to taste so bland.

Visiting from out of state for a family function. We purchased 4 “popular” entrees and literally threw everything away. Garlic fried rice had no flavor, beef pancake were not good, tried 2 different types of dumplings and very dissatisfied. Missing so much flavor. Nothing elite about this place. Dave your money!

During my onsite job for a customer in Cali near Elite Dumpling, my coworker and I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment for both lunch and dinner over 4 to 5 days. I highly recommend this diner to anyone visiting Hayward, CA, as it truly is a hidden gem.One of my personal favorites from their menu is the salt and pepper fish, which was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. Additionally, the lamb dumplings with Chinese vegetables were an absolute delight. The flavors and spices used in their dishes really set them apart - they are simply on fire! The beef chow fun was large portion and good but average.I cannot praise this restaurant enough for its delicious food and welcoming ambiance. If you ever find yourself in the area, do not miss the opportunity to experience this culinary delight at Elite Dumpling.

Ive been here a couple of times for lunch, now. Id recommend calling in to pre-order your meal for pickup later. It usually takes them about 15min to cook and get it ready for you. Once youre on the way, they are easily accessible from the main road and have ample parking in the little plaza.I highly recommend their salt-and-pepper pork chop (and Id assume by extension their salt-and-pepper fish and tofu dishes), which is just a glorious combo of flavor and frying.I was not as impressed with their tofu beef dish, which was swimming in a basic sauce reminiscent of Panda Express. The veggies I got were also barely cooked- really hard and crunchy.Their beef chow fun was solid, but wasnt anything to write home about and is pricier than their normal lunch combos.Since theyre currently doing takeout only due to COVID, you cant take advantage of the fact that lunch combos are usually served with a soup-of-the-day when dining in. :( On the positive side, theyve always served me great, large portion sizes no matter what I order.An additional quirk here is that they do accept Apple/Android Pay, but because theyve barricaded the area directly in front of the cash register for COVID, youd have to hand them your unlocked phone to scan in the back, which isnt the most convenient nor secure way of doing things.If I ever have a craving for salt-and-pepper meals, I might be back, but it wont become my regular place for lunch.

This place is literally a hidden gem! If your not from the area you may get a bit turned around as it is tucked in the corner of a minimart just off the main street. Once you find it, it is like being teleported into the BEST dumpling factory. People are literally rolling fresh handmade dumplings when you walk in!The restaurant itself could use a bit of a facelift, it very much so comes across as a hole in the wall. It seems the focus is the food and I dont blame them, why fix what isnt broken?We ordered using a Groupon--WELL WORTH IT! We tried so many dumplings all better than the other and combo chow mein with skinny noodles, EVERYTHING was FRESH and exquisite! The service was exceptional and efficient. I would definitely recommend if youre in the area (or not, worth the drive).

Not a dine in place . I had chive dumplings w pork(?) they were so fresh w a lot of veggies chopped fine . Nicely steamed, I waited a bit because they cut everything fresh . I’m a NY new resident of California. Elite lives up to its name delicious and best I’ve ever tasted

I would highly recommend you go somewhere else. The dumplings my family got were spoiled! They were not fresh at all, the shrimp friend rice was also bland, and the shrimps were spoiled as well!!! Not the place to eat. Save your coins

I wanted dumplings and decided to try this place. I wasnt that impressed. I had the chicken dumplings with napa cabbage, chicken and spinach wonton soup, and shrimp fried rice. I liked the rice the best. Ill try it again before I give up. The service was fine.
