+ High quality food. We ordered fried rice, picked fish soup and garlic ribs. All amazing. Thin sliced and tender fish fillets. Juicy ribs and well seasoned fried rice.+ Good service.+ The traditional Chinese style decoration was very elegant.- Quite expensive. Most major dishes are 30-50. The portions are large though.- A minor suggestion for the restaurant owner. The napkins are so tiny and so thin that it is almost unusable.

Really great Chinese food! The service is also good and quick. Recommend black pepper steak cube, shanghai bacon bok choy rice, shanghai style yellow eel, hotpot pickled cabbage fish and shanghai stir fry shrimp. The price is a bit higher then most of other Chinese restaurants, but food quality worth it.This place is really popular, we arrived around the evening opening time ~5pm and there was already a line.

Authentic Chinese Delicacies!Schezwan Beef was really good. Pork & Bok Choy Fried Rice and Sausage & Prawn Fried Rice were great as well.Things that would give a better customer experience along with the already delicious food:1. Have a one liner along with the name of the dish, which explains what it is. We ordered ‘Beef with Oyster mushroom’ just to realise it was Beef tongue. It would have been great to know it before ordering.2. The server can ask if the customer needs help with the menu.3. Improve the App from which the customer is asked to order during Dine In.

Complained to manager and he said there has been numerous complaints on their eel fish food source already, and they will not do anything about it!In the end, we called 911 on the spot. Humble appearance from the outside, authentic & tasty food on the inside. A good mix of dishes, that would be more at home in a Mainland China restaurant than is common outside. The dishes were bright and punchy with flavour and spicy when expected.Vibe of the restaurant itself is relaxed. Not a special occasion location, but perfect to catch up with friends (who like real Chinese food or are more adventurous). Convenient parking out the back.

Worst experience ever!! An waitress’s attitude was extremely disrespectful. It was 8:53pm, the waitress was forcing us to leave with a very bad attitude, and we said just give us 10 more minutes to finish our conversation, she said no, we were closed, get out quickly and pointing to the door. She also did the same to another table. We understood the restaurant is closing at 9:00pm, but this attitude is not acceptable. We were 10 people including 2 kids and 2 seniors and we sat down at 7:30pm. I never ever had this experience in my entire life. There are so many delicious Chinese foods in Bay, we will never go there again! Not Recommend!!

Best Chinese restaurant in MTV. Simple yet elegant decoration. Two of my favorite cuisines in one place, Sichuan food and Shanghai food. After so many sorry we dont have frog, they actually have in stock. Every reasonable price (not cheap, but reasonable).

This place is so expensive and the quality is not even on par with the price. We ordered around 10 dishes, and none of them is very good, at best average. Especially the crawfish, they are so tiny that is not worth the time to eat them. We spent 300$ for 8 dishes and some drinks, such a high price and the waiters are not very friendly either. Also this place is so warm.

Take out. Unbelievable high price and low quality. Mushroom with beef tongue was bland even with chili peppers. Beef tongue are over cooked as well. Not worth $40. Pork and vegetable rice is also bland because it’s not salty enough. The pork supposed to be salted pork but it’s still lacks of flavor. Not worth $23 for sure. Feel like the worst Chinese dishes we had for a while. Will not go back

The restaurant is at a stand-alone block with some parking spaces. You definitely need to look for a parking spot if you come on the weekends peak time. They used a pad to order and they served quickly. The ambience is bright and clean with everything from napkins to chopsticks already set in front of you. Their chopsticks are disposable at the top yet they preserve their holding part. In general this is the place we’d like to check it again!

Pricier-than-average newer Chinese restaurant that offers some regional specialties I hadnt seen elsewhere, one of those places you need to know what to order to fully enjoy.Must get: “心太软”, literally translates into Heart Too Soft (hallowed jujubes stuffed with sweet glutinous rice mochi), one of my favorite nostalgic appetizers from every larger family gathering while growing up in Shanghai, and my first time finding this dish in the Bay. It was a group lunch with co-workers. Maybe its my preference, the dishes we end up ordering were okay only. Some are a bit on the salty side. The aesthetics of the dishes didnt appeal to me either since most looked dark as in soy sauce or charred as in burnt. Doesnt scream freshness. Its a bit overpriced but thats just my opinion.

Great place for Chinese food! They have food from all over different regions of China and they do them all so well. Have tried many dishes here and you really cant go wrong with any of them. Some personal favorites are the pork intestines, the beef tongue with king oyster mushrooms, and bamboo. The pork intestines are crispy and well seasoned, the beef tongue is tender and delicious. The bamboo tastes wonderful and is well cooked.Some other dishes that Ive tried are the pepper beef in chili, the prawns, chicken in coconut soup, and the bok choy rice. Would recommend getting the bok choy rice at least once instead of regular rice, as it really does elevate the flavors.

Horrible service. Lead waitress accused my friend of “making trouble with hostess” and being “inconsiderate” when all we did was asking if it’s possible to sit 5 people on a 4 people table and the hostess gladly agreed to sit us. This bad attitude server also suggested maybe two people in our party should move to a smaller table and then move back when it’s less busy ( which is absurd). After we pointed out we did not make trouble with the hostess and all we did was politely ask her to sit us together which she gladly agreed to, this bad service waitress did not even apologize. She just lied and said it’s that persons first day at work, which my friends and I know because we frequent this restaurant. Well, not anymore!

And we dont even eat that much. For reference, 2 dishes for us would make us mildly full.We had the pickled cabbage fish soup, bullfrog Sichuan sour soup and jinli mushroom combo.The fish soup at most had 1 fish worth of fish in the soup, made for sharing for $48. We went inside and heard server was told “do not let anybody come inside.” We were told to wait for 30 minutes at the end we waited for another 60 minutes with no server to check in. I tried Kung Fu Boiled Beef and Shanghai Salted Pork with Rice. They tasted really good, especially the boiled beef. It tasted like red oil and Sichuan flavor with a strong aroma. The beef was tender and elastic, unlike the watery ones at other restaurants in the Bay Area. The boiled beef is old-fashioned~ There is nothing wrong with it except the price.
