This restaurant has a very relaxed ambiance. My boyfriend and I decided to have a date night and it was perfect for that. Our server Vince was very kind and knowledgeable. The food was very good and came out in a timely manner. We will definitely be returning and we recommend others to give this place a try.
This place was a little pricey but the portions were quite large, the staff was extremely attentive, and the vibe was casual and relaxed. There’s definitely an Asian influence, which made the menu have some interesting (and delicious) flavor combinations. Quite nice decor too; it was stylish and simple
My date and I had a couple drinks here. Drinks were great, but I would have to give credit to their interior designer. The lighting and set up of the place was ideal for a first date. The bartender was very friendly and hello! to their full length mirror in the bathroom. It is such a great place.
The staff remembered us, but then again who wouldnt remember this pug. Service felt tailored and attentive. Food has delicate flavors. Drinks are solid. Appetizers are delicious! Order more and split.
Been here 3 times. This place is a class act. I had a small issue with the service my most recent visit (we got 3 of 4 dishes all at once, which was just too fast), and the waitress and host handled it with total grace and class. The food is delightful as always. I highly recommend Estate
Excited to see this open up so close to me. I think theres potential for Estate to deserve a 5 star but going to try it a few more times and rerate. This is based on an early visit during friends and family nights so they were trying a few things. Decor was beautiful and we had some really solid dishes. Looking forward to my next visit!
We love this restaurant! The food is great and the staff are nice and well trained. And we can hear each other!!! Great date vibe. Only flaw - the men at the front are kind of surly. Dont let that stop you 🙂
Great place, Im not a seafood person at all, but the Alaskan COD was so delicious!!! I pretty much ate my girlfriends plate even though my plate was delicious and meaty. Everything was really tasty! Drinks could (always) be stronger!
The food was bad. Their fried rice and pad Thai were okay but over priced ($19 a dish). Their filet mignon, scallop and chicken were very dry. In addition to their food being mediocre and overpriced the service was very slow even though only 2 or 3 tables were full out of 15.
One of my favorite haunts in the neighborhood. Very classy and upscale with excellent service. Their bartenders are pro. Mixology is the name of their game. A little secret, the manager is a sommelier amd will blow you away with his wine knowldge. Ssshhhhh. Happy hour prices are great and their menu is always on rotation. They have a Japanese chef, so theres a pan Asian flare to it all. Also, try their upstairs speakeasy on the weekend. Great place for a romantic date.
Pleasant surprised by the quality of the food and reasonable prices. I had the Alaskan black cod as an entree. After marinading the code in miso, baking, the fish is flash fried. The plate was accompanied by pickeled shiitake mushrooms, sushi rice, and a delicious Asian plum. Highly recommended.
Loved the food, the drink and the atmosphere. Staff was nice but not overbearing. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Unique flavors and a wide selection of cuisine (wok, seafood, meats, etc).
Upscale Asian-fusion at fine dining prices. Perhaps I ordered wrong, but I got the ramen and was disappointed- would rather go to any place on Sawtelle. That said, the space was beautiful and everyone else at my party seemed to really enjoy their food.

I had a friend come into town and stay at a nearby hotel. We decided to try this place for dinner...what a good decision that was! I tried three dishes (brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes-ahmazing), a flatbread option and salad...all were so good. Great service, nice ambiance, good food. Ill be going again.

We visit from Tijuana, México and have to say the shrimp tacos were delicious, the happy hour on Sunday great, Kids friendly!!! A great Sunday for us!! Thank you, looking forward to come back
The food is pretty good! And so are the cocktails! The servers arent as friendly as you would like them to be however. And it takes awhile for you to get your food and Cocktails.
This place is worth giving a shot. They serve large portions for convenient rates. Regularly neat and with good character. Will come visit again.

Atmosphere is nice enough but their own cocktail creations werent great. But when I ordered a Last Word cocktail, they did make that pretty well.

2019-09-16 05:10:07Probably one of the best pork chops I have had. Id give it 4.5 stars if this was an option. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Decor was nice, place is cozy. Definitely will go back. My only issue was that it was a slow night and servers took a while to get to us but he was very nice.

One thing I would love it if they fixed it is they need a better air circulation fan in the kitchen because all the smell from the food being cooked especially the fish smell goes into the restaurant and it creates a very potent fishy smell. So fishy it hurt my nose. It became very distracting when trying to enjoy my experience there being that it was my first time coming to this restaurant. I still gave it 5-stars because I really liked this place and I would definitely come back.

2017-11-05 15:15:53Stopped in for a cocktail with a friend. Told the bartender the flavor profile I wanted, and he immediately said about mixing up a drink. It was absolutely delicious, and exactly what I had been hoping for! My friend ordered a drink off the menu which was also superb. Cant wait to go back to see if the food is as good as the cocktails.
