Eugenio Italian Ristorante in San Marcos

This restaurant on the outside does not look like much but the food is absolutely awesome. The service was very well and she took care of us. I would definitely recommend getting the tiramisu for dessert it was probably one of the best Ive ever had. Raviolis are fantastic. The menu is a large menu lots of things to eat cant wait to go back and try other stuff. The garlic bread is also one to definitely get

Delicious home made food. I have never had a issue going before them to close to make me a whole meal, I go with out reservations and they are so accomidating. Their food is out of this world!!

Great mom&pop Italian joint. Good for special occasions. Its an okay space in a strip mall with fantastic food and decent service. Prices are creeping into the proper full service site down range without the typical fanfare that comes along with that. I.e. you typically have to ask for bread, and you definitely have to ask for a second roll. Doesnt serve it with the oil and vinegar other high end places do, but rather with a wrapped pad of butter. Theyre trying, but its definitely not a high end experience, other than the food. The food is absolutely incredible.

Do NOT let the strip mall location fool you. The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Hands down, the best Italian food Dowe have ever had. Beet salad=amazing. Cream of Mushroom soup= amazing. The chicken parmesan was crispy and tender and the seafood linguine was so flavorful. Portions were definitely enough to share.The service was as wonderful as the food!!! We will definitely be back.

The food was plentiful and prepared well, My husband had a veal dish; I had Chicken Marsala. Our waitress was pleasant but never acknowledge our request to turn down the overhead ceiling fan, We were wearing light jackets; they didn’t suffice.We are doing a lot of work around our home and we were looking forward to a pleasant and relaxing dinner. We called for reservations. The restaurant was crowded when we got there but the earlier customers left before we got our food, The air conditioning appeared to be on and the fans were circulating the cold air. We were freezing. I politely asked both the waiter and our waitress to turn down the fans. They said nothing. They did nothing. We ate quickly; we were anxious to leave. It was warmer outside, Frustrating experience.

My husband and I were told by many people this was one of the best Italian restaurants, we were pleasantly surprised. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are huge so come hungry and the service was excellent. I got the chicken Marsala, my husband got a sea food pasta, both were great. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes.

Eugenio’s restaurant is a small restaurant but it’s what makes it better in my opinion. It’s so cozy and as soon as you enter you will notice how hard the chef and his helper are working. The food does take some time to come out but it’s well worth the wait because it was the best Italian I have ever had here in the states. I really hope this small business can continue succeeding in the long road!

I really have to agree with all of the positive reviews posted about this spot. One of the most humble looking restaurants on the outside with a welcoming and kind of magical energy on the inside. The mashed potatoes and veggie stew that came as sides with my entree really stood out and they have a quality wine list.

This used to be one of our favorite places to go and six months ago I would’ve said five stars. The last three or four times it’s been painful we go there excited and leave literally disappointed and disgusted. Wait staff barely has time to get our orders or go over specials bring wine your order or drinks … having to ask for things that they normally used to bring to your table …you see them grabbing other customers food, going to other tables to show the food ….sadly the food has just become super subpar. You do have toMake reservations, ahead of time even if you go in there and it’s empty it is because they do have reservations and they fill up fast because it’s a super small establishment……as they grow the worse it gets..
