Appeared to be owner operated. The gentleman at the counter took my order and helped me decide on some hummus options. I got the extreme hummus and the jalapeno cilantro hummus. Both were delicious. Dolmas were delightful with tzatziki sauce. Rice was plain, but the falafel and hummus livened it up. Pita was warm. The salad dressing was very nice. A pleasant surprise. Dining room was clean and welcoming. My only critique is the paper plates and plastic silverware.

Amazing! The food was delicious, we had a chicken kabob plate, chicken meat plate and Greek fries which the best fries I had. People working there were very nice and let us try different hummuses. Will definitely come back.

We tried to dine in here during Covid times and they were not available, so tried my luck again and dined in for lunch. Ever since we moved to Sacramento from Bay Area- we missed the dish n dash restaurant which was a nice place for falafel. Extreme Hummus seems to focus on variety of hummus and the rest of it stays pretty standard. I tried the Veggie plate that gets served with some falafel balls, dolmas, very little salad, steamed rice, a half piece of pita. You get to choose your hummus - I chose sriracha and cilantro flavor and it was good. Falafel was alright, I ate better ones than this one. Rice was almost like the sticky Chinese rice and not the typical pilaf rice at Mediterranean places.This place is pricey for what it offers - but not a bad place to try.

Chicken kabobs were cooked perfectly and seasoned amazingly! The extreme chicken bowl was extremely flavorful, we will definitely be going back next time we are in town. Even our 7 year old was raving about how much he liked his food when we left.

I went here for the first time tonight because I was craving a gyro. I could not believe everything they had on their menu. I saw the featured meal was lamb shanks and decided to give it a shot. Very tender and flavorful cooked to a nice medium rare. The owner had given me samples of all their hummus’s and I chose their house special. It was delicious as well.The only thing I would have liked is some dressing on the salad. Other then that, excellent.I will be going back.

The customer service at the drive thru was awesome. Their sign was broken so you have to go to the window but, thats okay.As for the food, it was full of flavor!I got the Greek fries, which were very good. It was a large portion. It can feed at least 2 people.The last thing I order was the 3 meat combo bowl with garlic hummus. It was a good portion of rice on the bottom and a great tasty dish.Id highly recommend both dishes that I got as they were amazing. Give this place a try. You wont regret it. You may have to wait 10-20 minutes but, it is worth the wait!

Im not of Mediterranean decent but have loved Gyros since first introduced to them in 1987.As of August 2023, I have never enjoyed a Gyro as much as I enjoy these. I mean, finger linking delicious!!The only reason why Atmosphere got a 4/5 stars is due to the drive up menu speaker is not functioning and you have to pull up to the window to order. Was a little odd my first time around, I must admit.Highly HIGHLY recommend checking them out!! Plenty of other options besides Gyros too!

This was a wonderful place. Our first trip here has been good. I had the beaf and Lamb gyro and the wife had the chicken gyro. Food was delicious. The two guys behind the counter were nice and a great help in our decision making.. top notch.. will definitely be coming back..**Updating my post!So they changed the pita bread from the last few times weve been there. And to say the least its garbage. Taste and feels like stale bread. I called in and the guy said that theyve gotten a new supplier so apparently they got somebody cheaper and their quality went down. Not impressed.

The food here is amazing and homey. I was craving Mediterranean food and decided to pop in after finding them on Google. I was surprised by how much I got for my money. They let you pick your hummus, what type of meat you want in your gyro, and other options. Theyre also really friendly and its family owned. I attached below the three meat plate, gyro fries, and greek salad. Visit them, they offer patio eating, and drive thru pick up, and curb side pick up.

I went through the Drive- thru, asking for a falafel gyro. Twenty minutes later, I walked in and asked if they forgot my order. They responded, saying they make the falafel from scratch, and immediately, all time is forgiven. Ive watched people at Falafel Corner dump frozen falafel into a fryer while Extreme Hummus makes it from scratch. I dont care if I gotta order a gyro in the morning to get it before I go to bed, their falafel is delicious, fresh, crumbles as I bite into it. I love gyros, and this is one of my favorite places to get one.

Okay, this is a pleasant surprise! They give you copious amounts of food; good food with lots of flavor. The cilantro hummus is great. The chicken shawarma and the gyros are delicious. The service is really on point. They answered our questions and let us sample the hummus to us decide which kind to order. Little things like this make the experience more enjoyable. This is going to be a regular place for me.

First visit to this hidden gem tonight and WOW! My wife and I each ordered a gyro, the hummus sampler, and a Greek salad to share. She drank a Diet Coke, and I unknowingly ordered the Greek iced tea. The drinks came first and I wasnt sure what to expect, but the tea was absolutely delicious. Then our salad and hummus sampler came out. The salad was fresh and good-sized. We got the Chipotle hummus, Artichoke hummus and the Babaganoush. All 3 were flavourful and expertly seasoned. Already stunned by our spread, our jaws dropped when we saw the gyros. Theyre HUGE! I had the beef and lamb with cilantro lime hummus and my wife had the chicken with garlic hummus. Both gyros were bursting with flavor and stuffed full of meat and fresh veggies. The Tzatziki was perfect! The entire meal was delicious and to top it off, the customer service was top-notch. Well be coming back here, 100%!

This place is so good! Stopped by because it was Greek food near the freeway, but this place is worth going out of the way for and I will be making the trek back.Driving up, this had the feel of authenticity. I was excited to be greeted by a kind man with an accent (authentic) who was excited to hear I was a new customer. He let me sample the humus and ultimately I went with the spicy humus. It did not disappoint!I ordered the beef / lamb bowl and loved it. It’s about two meals worth of food for me and absolutely delicious. Not bad for $13! Anyways, this is a place I plan on popping over to again in the future.

My new FAVORITE place! Ive been driving by this place for months now and havent stopped in. Today I made my first stop and was amazed to find so many options for me as a vegetarian and the prices were so reasonable. I ordered a Greek wrap and a baklava for a treat after lunch. The food was AMAZING and so much healthier than fast food!! There are still so many things I need to go back and try. I will be stopping in way more often.

Four issues noticed with my visit. First, context ..this place has a drive thru which maybe had two cars no more and 2 other guests outside who already had their orders. I did not receive my foods for over 20-25 minutes. Interested since there’s a drive thru you’d think it’s be faster. Second, Ordered two wraps with each a different hummus flavor spread which costs more and on both hardly any hummus and forget flavor they tasted the same with the little amount that was there. Mainly the wraps were FILLED with veggies/etc. I asked for a small cup of hummus to actually have enough to taste it on wraps and they wanted to charge me $3 for a small portion more. I explained that there’s less than a tablespoon on each wrap as well as charged extra for the different flavor hummus you’d think there’d be some there. The man helping didn’t seem to want to assist and made eyes with a woman standing next to him who gave an unfriendly glance. After a couple minutes with me not handing him any money he said because it was my first time he’d waive the charge and the tiniest single hardly filled sample cup was given to me to “make up” for the lack of hummus on BOTH wraps. Third issue, the drinks are way overpriced in the fridge by register when grabbing a water bottle and finally sitting waiting for the food I noticed the water bottle was NOT sealed and was given trouble when I asked for a different one that was still sealed. More glances but it was accepted. Fourth and last, the seating outdoors leaves many things to be desired. The signs are OLD and frayed, one of the umbrellas at table were broken and no sign, the seats were mix matched and metal with large gaps for a seat and it hurt to sit because of course no cushions or proper flat seat. It was real a shame. Due to the 4 issues which they were aware I was unhappy but I was polite the entire time. The man who helped walked out to personally hand me 3 “leave a review” type of card and he asked to share my experience. I accepted cards but I’m sorry it was not a great time. I craved Mediterranean food and a good experience and very disappointed. Would not recommend. What would Gordon Ramsey say?

So Ive been coming since about May 2021. Ive gotten nearly everything on the menu but Ive gotta say the bowls are my favorite. They always come nice and warm. Baklava are usually nice and flavorful.Im sad to say that tonight March 8th, 2023; my experience was not so great. The food I recieved was cold and the baklava did taste a bit off compared to usual. I was a bit unsure why it when takes them about 20 mins to prepare my food tonight was 5 Minutes! Mind you waiting is no issue granted its always been fresh n ready, but today it was a 5 minute wait, which I immediately thought was odd. But I leave 4 stars still because it wasnt any of the original members Ive met before so perhaps the new night shift is learning the ropes. So if youre reading this, please dont serve cold meals. I understand salad onions n the sauces come cold but I know my rice and chicken does not.

Love this place. Im always indecisive when ordering so I started ordering at places by giving a price range or telling him that Im lactose intolerant and asking them to just choose something for me since I love the try new things and with no expectations towards the food I have loved every meal since doing it and the girl at the drive-thru did an amazing job picking something out for me to try and her customer service was 100 out of 10. This place serves super tasty falafel with great texture - really crisp and piping hot throughout, but not at all overdone or dry. Sauces and the hummus options are delicious by themselves and work perfectly together on a gyro, and theyre neither stingy nor sloppy in the amount they add. It really is a perfect bite.Online ordering through their website was super easy and accurate for me - pay attention to the pickup time, as they really are making it hot and fresh to order. I was a little early and had to wait inside for a bit, but I have to say, the vibe in there made me even more excited to get my meal because it was clear it would be made with care and the love of good food. Cant wait to go back, and plan to do so Extremely soon!

Some of the best Mediterranean food Ive had. I ordered the lamb and beef gyro plate. It came with rice a small delicious salad and pesto hummus. You can choose the hummus you want there are several types. The lamb and beef were seasoned very well. The rice had sadaf in it and the dressing was very good. I told them that I dont do well with dairy and they offered to make the sauces on the food vegan. They had some good vegan options on their menu. The only downside is that they dont list their prices. However, they are reasonably priced.

This place gets 5 stars from me. This was the best and most fresh hummus I have ever had. The cilantro jalapeño was my favorite! I had the combo plate and the meat was so delicious and flavorful. As if the food wasn’t amazing enough, the service is what led me to write this review. The owners were amazing and treated me like I was family and had been coming for years. Sharoz (sp) was so kind and helpful and made me excited to come back again! If you haven’t already, you definitely need to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!!

The food was just not very good. The lamb and beef plate had a very odd flavor and texture, I ended up giving it to my dog. The stuffed grape leaves were very hard, undercooked, and bland. The pita was sub par, tasted like what I pick up at the local grocery store. Would not recommend.

I don’t love falafel as a rule, but I am often stuck eating it since I went vegan. This place, however, had the first falafel I have ever loved. And the pesto hummus was fabulous. Extreme Hummuss humble outsides belie an inside filled with wonderful staff and delicious food. The quality and flavor of the chicken shawarma wrap I ate far exceeded my expectations. The sheer amount of food contained in a single wrap could likely feed an average person for a meal and a half, perhaps two. The sheer variety of hummus available was mind boggling, not to mention quite delicious. I would recommend getting a triple sampler of hummus and picking any three, it pairs fantastically well with the provided pita. You will likely have leftover hummus, so I hope you have some pita chips at home!

They are only open for drive thru at this time and closed on Tuesdays because of the lack of employees at this time just to give you a heads up! I came for my first time to have lunch with my mom, so we ended up eating in the car. Just remember to get extra napkins if you do because it can get messy! Good messy!

The food is all delicious and the place is clean. Price is fair and approaching pricey, but what isnt these days? At least this is unique and not just another burger. Sometimes the non-owner staff are idiots and mess up the order or make you pay before they realize theyre out of something, but is usually pretty good. I always get cucumbers instead of tomatoes which is a good deal for them price wise and I have never been charged but today I was told that I would be charged 50. Poor customer service from the manager. My order was prepared incorrectly. When I brought it to his attention, he tried to blame me even though I had witnesses that I had been specific in what I wanted. He tried to get me to pay again for remaking my order. Absolutely awesome establishment! Love the food and people that work there. Very clean and soooo filling. 4 stars though because one of the workers wasnt really vibing well. Disnt really seem like he wanted to be there but everyone else was fantastic. I do recommend this place.

Very good food, and nice owner of the establishment. I would really recommend this place the Chicken kabab, was delicious and the chicken was nice and tender 😋. I didnt take a picture sadly.

Came in for some awesome gyros. I asked for half chicken-half falafel on mine and the guy said I could order some falafel on the side and if it wasnt busy theyd put them in. Luckily for me, they added them to my gyro and it was great!My wife ordered the chicken kebab and I thought it was well spiced and cooked to juicy greatness. I knew this was one of those small more casual places, but that doesnt take away from the great food at all.Be sure to check out the variety of hummus options.

Unreasonably flavorful for the price. If you like things like Carne Asada fries, get the Greek fries with the lamb+beef gyro. A surprisingly delicious take on the American-Mexican classic. The building is a bit of a hole in the wall but I find that sort of thing charming.

Extreme Hummus has delicious gyros and Greek fries. We drive from Elk Grove to have their yummy foods. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Mediterranean food.

BEST LUNCH I have ever had, the family who runs it was very generous and sweet, they have unbelievably amazing hummus. I would eat here everyday if I could. Definitely worth going!

Google should not have this listed as fast food. We waited 25 minutes for our food. The food was good but nothing special. Eating the falafel gyro in the car was a mistake, lol.

Disappointing. Ordered 2 entrees because I couldnt decide, figuring Id have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The lamb is not lamb, Its a blend with beef. Dry and barely warm. The chicken didnt have any Mediterranean flavor and was quite dry, might have been grilled. The Greek fries - blah. In the end I only had a few bites and just left the entire $21 of food on the tray. Stick with Cafe Morocco in Sac. Sorry, Extreme Hummus, you really disappointed.

BEST TZATZIKI IN THE WORLD!!! Ok well maybe not the world because I havent traveled much but I can say from Sacramento to San Diego this is the best tzatziki Ive had yet. My husband and I had beef and lamb wraps today and omggg... I want to go back for more. Ill pace myself and wait til tomorrow though. Im never gonna lose weight I swear...Its a small tucked away little place and the lady who gave us our food recommended Greek fries. Apparently my husband has had Greek fries without me but Id never heard of such a thing!!! Now I want that too. Maybe tomorrow. Quaint, friendly and authentic; I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is absolutely incredible... Literally everything is good lol The meat is super juicy & tasty. I usually get the beef & lamb plate - comes with rice & pita bread & ur choice of hummus. My fave hummus is the Extreme Signature, great all-around, so much flavor!The tzatziki sauce is killer too. The greek fries are also sooo good... And you get a lot of food for the price so dont worry! You will be filled to the brim, & I guarantee youll be coming back ;-) Ive been addicted ever since I tried it! They also have a drive-thru which is awesome! Call ahead and you can just pull-up & pick it up at the drive-thru (they do it like that all the time, its a normal thing).

Until I decide that I possess the time, effort, and skill to make hummus and the associated dishes as tasty as the ones served here, I will continue to give them my money. Lots of it. Because its kind of expensive. But its totally worth it. Its only an addiction when I start shooting up hummus on a daily basis right? I dont have a problem...

Amazing food and friendly service. I get the chicken gyro with artichoke pesto hummus, Greek fries and my kids share the kids chicken gyro meat and rice plate. The food is always fresh, made to order and sooooo so good.

Rice with orozo is odd, didnt have the pudding I wanted, baklava had an off taste (maybe it was the saffron sauce?), and there was something very granular in my bowl. Dont think Ill give it another try

This place is great. They have everything and their staff is. Wonderful. A young man..Jordan Thomas helped me. He was great..helpful amd efficient. He was veey knowledgeable. When I go back I will definitely ask for his help.

Really good food! Im slightly addicted to the Greek fries. Definitely a better alternative to traditional fast food. The service is good and the staff are friendly. I eat here all the time!
