This is one of the nicest Fairfield Inns Ive stayed in. I wish there was more to choose from at the breakfast buffet - and especially not heated croissant sandwiches in plastic wrap - but at least everything is replenished when needed. There is also a gym across the street and the exercise classes have loud music several hours of the day, which can get annoying.
This is a fairly new property and I stayed for the first time this past weekend. Its a bright modern space, with lots of great amenities for a traveler. The common area where the free breakfast is served has lots of places to plug in all the electronics we carry these days. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The views arent great, but they give you a fake view with shades that have scenes on them (very creative).The staff was super friendly and helpful.
I am floored by how wonderful this stay was. The surrounding area is quiet, but not remote. I walked to get food and coffee my first day, and it was so close by that I wasnt even able to finish my drink on the walk back.The staff was wonderful. I did not encounter a single unhelpful person. Stacey at the front desk is an angel, and to be honest, everyone I encountered was super friendly. How this hotel was able to amass so many nice people under one roof is beyond me.Before this place, I was at another hotel that was sorely lacking in cleanliness, and the difference between the two was like night and day. Ive left two hotels in the past three months for not being clean enough, because I just cannot spare the mental bandwidth to deal with an uncomfortable place while working. This place was CLEAN, and everyone in housekeeping is super nice and absolute professionals at what they do.My only regret is that I didnt book here to begin with, because I could have saved myself a lot of grief and the hassle of moving from one place to the other.
This new hotel is really nice and the customer service is excellent. The hotel is very clean, comfortable beds, nice size rooms and bathrooms, lots of modern touches with USB ports and TV options.The pool area is a bit small but they have other areas outside to lounge in. Large breakfast area which is a nice play to hang out during the afternoon or evening if you need that extra space. Tea and coffee available all day long. Breakfast options are typical. I also appreciate the free level 2 car charging available in the parking lot.The location is a bit odd for a hotel but there are several restaurants within 1 to 2 miles by car, with Seal Beach about a 10-15 min drive.
Stayed here for an extended stay. Amazing prices and amazing staff! Room was spotless and was always cleaned without me asking. The room has everything you need including an iron and ironing board! Special thank you to Stacey for making my stay so amazing and tending to me needs. The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!
A modern design hotel - well kept and very clean. The only small issues experienced was that the bathroom sink faucet was difficult to turn on/off the water. There is also a delay when communicating with staff via the official hotel app. We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast each morning. The hotel has a small business center with 2 computers and a printer available along with a pool.
Stay was extremely pleasant. The location and convenience to shops, restaurants and the freeway is excellent. Safe area. Free parking, clean, friendly staff. The only thing I let the front desk know during check out was the water during showering was not hot. It was warm and tolerable, but not hot enough to unwind to after a long day. Also, there is no full length mirror and the only mirror is the bathroom. Other than that, I would stay here again and would definitely recommend.
We stayed in room 306 for one night. We were happy with the cleanliness and good room size. The hotel was brand new with modern decor. Our room overlooked the parking lot. The location was a bit far away from the elevator. It was a quiet night until we woke up with some loud noises around 6am. Some guests were leaving and left their car running loudly while chatting right underneath our window. We heard their conversation and laughing. This lasted about 15 minutes - enough to make us stayed up and could not go back to sleep. Please stay away from the parking lot if you are light sleepers. Breakfast of course is on the skimpy side - small selection. They dont even have sugar free syrup. I hope the hotel will soon be able to offer the traditional Marriott breakfast style soon.
We booked a room for 2 nights but we were so comfortable we stayed another. The room/bathroom were very big and clean. I was even able to bring my kid slide. The staff was very welcoming and attendant. Breakfast wasnt that big but it was good. My only complaint the pillows were too flat. We requested more. Other than that its a nice hotel and close to everything.
Great rates in a good area. Newer hotel was clean. Really good gym with decent room to move around. No spa was the only bummer. Breakfast was nothing special, but everything was good. Staff was very nice. This is a good spot to be close to the beach, Angels Stadium, or other local attractions. I will stay here again if Im in the area and on a tight budget.
Their staff were very helpful and professional. They upgraded our room to two king beds which were very comfortable. Bathroom/shower were huge. Loved the mini fridge and microwave in the room. The pool was nice and the pool bathroom was very clean. Enjoyed the complimentary parking and breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Beware they don’t do early check-in. We just kept calling till they confirmed our room was ready.
We enjoyed our stay over the weekend! The front desk staff were very helpful, we were upgraded to a 2 King room without even asking. The front desk associate asked if I ever stayed in a hotel with 2 Kings and I have to say I never have. My kids wanted to go to the pool and another front desk associate said it was already reserved however she confirmed the reservation was cancelled and called our room to let us know we could use it. Sam the GM helped us with breakfast and we let him know we had a comfortable stay. Great hotel and look forward to staying there again.
This is a really nice hotel! Staff was friendly, lobby was nice but the room itself was also really nice. Loved the technological feature of a personal welcome on the room TV and the entire room lights up by placing your room key in the slot.My only set back from returning to this hotel is that they don’t accept pets that ARENT service pets 😞
My family and i had the privilege of staying here when it first opened up and I have to say up until now the stay is exactly the same. The cleanliness is a 10. The walk ways the elevator the gym the grounds outside are all spotless. The front Desk experience is quick and very welcoming. The furniture is new the towels brand new the linen brand new all available upon request. The general manager Sam down to shamir and Anna and the entire team have done over and beyond to accommodate our stay with the best. This is our 1st choice when we our in need of some R and R.The hotel is SUPER CLEAN

When i called in the day after i checked out the person who answered rudely transferred me to the rude manager while i was still talking and the manger told me she had the right to refuse service to me when i did nothing wrong all i did was ask for my belongings that were left in the room she said nothing was in there funny how she would know without looking and when i told her i knew it was left behind she told me she had the right to refuse service to me . you don’t have the right to withhold my belongings my personal expensive belongings even if it was worth a dollar that is not your property or your right! do you know what customer service is? this is so sad what you guys consider taking care of your customers!
I was extremely pleased by the entire stay of my visit. I was there for seven nights, I had clean linens and refresh room. The complementary breakfast was filled with options, breakfast sandwiches, healthy options, such as Yogurts and fruit plus a coffee & juice bar. The beds were extremely comfortable the sheets were high-quality. The shower pressure was amazing, and the rooms were immaculately clean. Thank you for making my stay so good, it felt like home.
When you updated your parking and EV charging information on your app I will update my rating, as long as you dont charge for EV charging. Anyway I should not need to call the hotel to ask when I can easily and fast look it out online.
Hotel itself is nice. Lobby staff was also nice and accommodating. Minus points because the room was not cleaned on 4 of the nine nights I stayed. Breakfast was not good. Prepackaged muffins and breakfast sandwiches that were pretty tasteless. Good coffee. Was overall an okay stay because of the nice room, but could have easily been better.
This is a new hotel. It was very clean. The staff was very nice. The rooms are sparse and more suited for the business man. Not families or couples. The bed was very comfortable and an assortment of pillows was nice. The breakfast foods, Grab and Go were horrible. Dont waste your time on that. Even McD is better.
Our stay was really awesome! The property is absolutely beautiful and newly renovated so all of the rooms are new. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the front desk associates are all very kind. There was something weird that happened on our third day: my daughters fake gold rings were stolen from on top of the dresser. I know they always say put your items away when youre staying in a hotel, but since they were fake we thought nothing of it. However, when we returned from our day out and about, the rings were gone. So, be sure to pack your valuables and non valuables away and enjoy your time here!
I loved the set up. 2 big TVs, all white linen which makes you feel really clean. The blueberry muffins were amazing. The hotel was nice. Looks like an apartment. I’ll definitely be going back.
The hotel items is very need and is a great, clean facility. The breakfast is very lacking with only a heated, package of croissant/meat/cheese thingy every morning with yogurt, packaged muffins... The negative issue was noisy guests smoking outside near the pool area. Even after making numerous complaints the Staff failed to get them to lower their voices. This is utterly unacceptable. On the third night of stay--a different staff handled another set of noisy guests more effectively.Another issue was Housekeeping coming into our room, after the first night of our 5 night stay--to tidy up our room. We were told clearly that NO ONE would enter our rooms to provide Housekeeping services UNLESS we requested it... and we did NOT request any services. We were NOT prepared to have someone enter our room. This is also totally unacceptable. The Chat feature in the Marriotts BONVoY App, was not well monitored.... it was noted that there would be some delay, but it could be hours before someone properly responded to the matters being communicated in the Chat feature. The Hotels to monitor and respond to these Chats in a professional, timely manner.
I absolutely love staying here. It’s always so clean, and the staff is so nice. You can tell that it’s new, but you’d have no idea that it’s been in pretty heavy use for over a year, because they take such good care of it. And again, and I can’t emphasize this enough, the staff is the best.
The helpful staff made our stay an enjoyable one. They made us feel welcomed, and to ensure all our needs were addressed. The hotel room was very nice, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and the walk-in shower was great. This hotel will be on top of the list when visiting/staying in the area in the future.
From the minute you walk in this hotel, it was clean and fresh smelling. Security was very important, they buzzed you in, so no one who wasn’t staying here entered, the parking lot is well lit. It’s across the street from a residential neighborhood, high school around the corner. Very safe. It’s new everything is clean, hand sanitizer stations visible for your use. covid protocals in place. Our room was modern, electronic window shade controls next to bed. We had 2 KING size beds, large spacious room, fresh smelling. Room Key card goes in a slot by the door, which allows you to turn on the lights, outlets (energy efficient) pool was clean & private, passerby’s could not see you. We were able to leave belongings in the car (totes) since we were moving our son into CSULB the next morning. Plenty of families had to do the same. Had a fantastic stay!
I have over 30 years as a hospitality consultant and industry executive. I can say with confidence that this is a well run hotel. The General Manager was often seen interacting with customers and staff throughout the day, which demonstrates a commitment to ensuring a high level of service quality and customer service. Other hotels could benefit from this type of commitment. The staff was also very professional and courteous at ALL times during the stay. Parking was well lit and convenient, security was excellent (even though it was a safe neighborhood), and the rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I visit 8-10 times a year and usually stay at a competing property, but this is now my go-to place when I’m down.
I had excellent service with the front desk staff. The rooms are brand new, everything was in beautiful condition. The beds were very comfortable. Dont expect a view of any kind, but its close to some good restaurants.
We booked for 4 nights. I requested cleaning after 2 night at 7:30 am for that day. Returned at 4:30 to a dirty room. Asked against 4:30 ( cleaning was still being done on our floor). No one showed up. Front desk assured us Manager would be notified. I am a Bonvey Member and was extremely disappointed that this request was ignored. The hotel is new, in a great location but we felt there was NO employee that was there to make us feel appreciated as a customer. They did the bare minimum with a great smile on their face. Very disappointed.
This hotel is our new favorite stay in the area. We had a “suite” but I don’t consider what we had to be an actual suite. It was just a room with a couch and two TVs (but small enough you could never watch both TVs at the same time. The hotel had mask required signs everywhere but nobody bothered me once about masks which was nice. Would be nice if they had a decent hot tub since they have a pool. Overall this was a great new property to stay at when visiting family in the area, and we will be staying there again soon.
It is a very good hotel to stay whether you wanna be home away from home or a tourist visiting LongBeach or part of OrangeCounty. Accessible to almost everything as it is sitting within the busy streets of LosAlamitos Blvd & close to Katella Ave. Fairly new hotel as I saw it getting built, and the vibe of this hotel is homey/welcoming. Employees are nice. Rooms are clean/well-kept, you can tell it is new-new (: liked the walk-in shower..Give this hotel a try if you’re visiting the area between LongBeach and parts OrangeCounty.. because I’d definitely be back :)
This hotel is a gem in a location that is not on everyone’s tourist attraction list - but if you want a terrific experience from the time u enter the hotel to the time u leave - stay here. It is well run, the staff are efficient and so very kind and helpful, the rooms are great - it is the BEST hotel I have EVER stayed at - and I am a world traveler. Stacey stands out as the best representative for the Marriott brand - she truly wants everyone to have the best experience at her hotel. Honestly, I cannot say enough about this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
We were lucky enough to get a last minute room booked due to a flight being canceled. We checked in and had the most wonderful assistance from the front desk, I couldn’t remember his name but it was on 7/21 in the evening. We had a great time in the pool and then when we got ready to check out In the am of 7/22, a girl greeted us as we got off the elevator at 6am and was so lively and sweet to my kids. She packed us breakfast to go and made sure we had anything we needed as we started our trip to the airport. Definitely recommend and we appreciate the hospitality so very much. More hotels should be like this one.
The Fairfield Inn and Suites in Los Alamitos was an amazing Hotel. Staff was excellent. I would go out for work and always come back to be welcomed by a friendly front desk associate. They even printed me directions to local restaurants. The Hotel design is really great, as an architect background I have to say the exterior of the property are very modern and look very clean. It truly brings out a modern ranch style appeal.Everything about my stay was great, coming back to a nice and clean property was really nice. I even got to meet the General Manager Sam. Thank you Hotel Staff for giving me such a great stay experience!
Enforce your parking lot! I stay here often and now Ive had enough. The highschool around the corner uses this as their personal parking and its not right if I go have breakfast and come back that I have to park down the street. They come back on their lunch and smoke weed and hangout in the parking lot. Stop this, ins not fair to paying customers.
We stayed for one night only, but our room was beautifully furnished, very clean, bed was so comfy. We did not take advantage of food or drink, but the breakfast spread looked delicious! Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
Enjoyed our 4 days stay. The staff was great and nice. Helped with all we needed. The staff at breakfast service where nice and attentive to helping get your day started. You can eat there or they can help send you off with food. The little store was great for snacks. Loved our room and bathroom. Beds where clean and comfortable. We will be staying here anytime we fly in to visit family. 😁
The building is newer, which made us feel even better about the general cleanliness. The resort is in a good neighborhood (although the lumber company across the street starts work fairly early in the morning.) The location is ideal for the ocean beach, Disneyland, Knotts Berry farms, and even close enough for Los Angeles and Hollywood.Customer service was top notch! Happy employees make the location works class.
The room was well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nicely stocked. The front desk staff made checking-in a breeze, and they had plenty of luggage carts to bring my bags. Everything was great
Not too far off the freeway and very close to Long Beach Airport and many restaurants, bakeries, and stores. Extremely safe and clean. Excellent staff, especially Stacey. Free parking too and nice outdoor pool area. Rooms are great and bed is comfortable. Great shower too.

This is fairly brand new. You need a key to enter the front after dark for added security which I appreciate. The rooms are super clean, to include the baths being mildew/pink slime free. You get free breakfast (due to COVID you request it at the front desk). The beds are super comfy, and the staff at the front is AMAZING!!!! Great housekeeping staff.
Facilities were very clean; bed was comfortable; quality shampoo and bath wash. We left our jacket in the closet. Stacey called us 20 minutes after we left to inform us and was willing to ship the jacket to us. I was very impressed with the customer service.
The Fairfield Inn and Suites Anaheim Los Alamitos was one of the very few times I had a room with two (2) king sized bed. Being a new motel, the facilities were in excellent condition. An energy savings feature required a room key be inserted in the light switch or the lights, television set etc. would not work. A nice feature to encourage guests to let the unnecessary electric power to be shut down when occupants leave the room.Personally, I like the new style shower facilities in the bathrooms in most of the newer constructed properties. In reserving facilities, if there are two (2) fairly equal properties, I will always select the property with the newer style showers.Would be happy to stay at this property again
I have given a great score instead of an excellent score because of my cold initial welcome I had received.I had come from a very hectic trip and I got to the hotel 15 minutes before check in time and I know in most to all hotels, they are pretty flexible about this and would let you check in.The girl at the front desk not only did she not great and welcome me, she didnt even bother to help me. I had to ask if she was free to help. If youre the manager, this happened yesterday 10/31/2021.She told me she couldnt check me in unless I took a handicap accessible room. There was a lady behind me whos husband was handicap and I wondered why shed offer me a room that obviously was more needed to the other person, so I politely declined and instead I offered it the the couple who needed it..Then came another front desk person and she came in all bubbly and very good attitude about her. She immediately went to help a couple that had just walked in. She welcomed them and handed them their keys, no hesitation at all and wished them a pleasant stay. I looked at her name tag and her name is Jillian.So I naturally gravitated to her positive self and asked why I couldnt check in, she said no problem, she asked for my I.D, checked me in and wished me a pleasant stay!! Jill as she prefers was great for the rest of the time. She was very helpful, always happy.So the manager should really look into how to train the staff on greeting their valuable guests.In the morning, another happy person was there to serve breakfast. Her name was Joselyn.
The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The gym is open to use as well as the outdoor pool, but you have to reserve a time slot for the pool. One thing the front desk did not inform me of on check in is that you have to insert your room key into a slot once you enter the room to grant power to the room. This hotel is very eco friendly which I love. I would stay again for sure☺️😊
This place was new, rooms and the entire hotel was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the staff was great very helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and walking distance to restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it.
Very clean and nice rooms with a big TV, comfortable bed, huge glass door shower, mini fridge, and nice complimentary toiletries. Very easy check in experience. Fun little fake forest blinds on the windows. Friendly staff and easy access to a printer. Currently doing grab and go breakfast with a breakfast sandwich option.
My wife and kids loved our stay, breakfast was njce and simple with a variety of items to eat. Rooms were clean and looked brand new. Looking forward to staying again when son has a basketball tournament near.
Clean and cozy, really great staff friendly and helpful. We had the 2 king room. Nice Free little breakfast, parking was free and easy. It’s perfect for us we travel from Las Vegas and stay here for every home Rams game Easy freeway access and 20-25 minutes to Sofi stadium. about the same to Disneyland and seal beach.We love it. New hotel, great location and Stacey and her staff is hands down the best customer service we have ever been around. When my brother became ill at Los Alamitos hospital, Stacey was able to accommodate my whole family immediately and when funeral arrangements were made, Stacey was able to help keep our family together in our toughest of time. I will never forget that. We love this hotel!
Super clean and all staff is very polite... They treat everyone the same... Rooms are beautiful. The parking lot is bright lit ALL NIGHT which just makes you feel safe at all times. The only downside is the size of the pool... Too small.

When booking this reservation, I had no idea the hotel was less than a month old. The staff was AMAZING and hotel was beautiful. We also got a free upgrade too plus they made an excellent recommendation on where to eat which was a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. We are looking forward to our next stay with this hotel. Due to Covid, we were not able to use the swimming pool or the breakfast, but gave us the perfect excuse to come back for a stay and we are so looking forward to it.
Great rooms and amenities. Everything was CLEAN. The staff was extremely nice. Someone did enter our room twice despite a do not disturb sign (I only noticed as the blinds were disturbed). Not a deal breaker, would definitely stay again, just upsetting as we had paperwork out with private information. We will just make sure to put things away.
I had a wonderful stay at the Fairfield Inn in Los Alamitos. The Front Desk staff was friendly and accomodating. The lobby and our room were clean and smelled nice. Due to Covid they did not have a sit down breakfast, but they did offer the option to grab breakfast and take it to my room. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay.
This is a brand new Fairfield hotel with good location and clean and modern decor. I really liked many charging stations and security measures to enter the building. They even offered breakfast during Covid-19 which was appreciated. Theres a microwave to heat up your food as well. Overall a good hotel to st stay at.
I stayed 1 night at this hotel while I was having some work done on my house. It’s a brand new hotel so everything is spotless and brand new. The bed was very firm and the bedding was light and airy. There were not many guests and it seemed they put all of us on the first floor same wing. People were talking etc in the hallways which the hotel can’t control but they could’ve spread us out with 3 more floors above :-) also, there was a machine or something that cycled on about every 30 mins and made a clicking noise. So I had a hard time falling asleep.
New hotel, rooms decent as well as the bed. BUT what is that breakfast concept? They don’t offer bread, toast, butter, jelly or eggs. You can decide between sweet and sugar products. I traveled to many hotels, also some fairfields scattered in the country, and have never seen such a breakfast for that room price. Also the elevator certificate was expired for months. Checkin was efficient.
Our family stayed here 3 nights during our vacation. The facility was kept up very nicely and the rooms were very clean. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay.

New, comfortable and clean accommodations at this Fairfield. I do miss the free early check in I received at other Fairfield and Marriott properties. I needed a place to dress for a funeral after traveling from out of town and ended up paying $40 to check in early. In the past, Marriott has, on occasion, allowed early check in for free with rewards membership. Overall, the stay was nice.
Our family was excited to stay at this new property. Its new & affordable (around $100 per night) whats not to like? We stayed there for two nights and instantly regretted our 2nd night into the weekend.There were a lot of young folks that stayed to party at the hotel rooms and the walls were so thin that I could hear the music, loud conversation, and some noises that you would not want to hear all through the walls.Whats worse was that there was a group of people thumping and causing a ruckus on the floor above us from 8PM to 3AM and we had called the front desk multiple times but they did absolutely nothing to address the station and almost treated us to say this is the norm on the weekend and get used to it. When we checked out and we brought up the issue to the front desk, we are assured that we would get a personal call from the manager Sam and that never happened.TLDR - if you want a quiet and restful stay during the weekend, I would avoid this place.Also like other reviews, WIFI was available but it wasnt working. When I called they said they work on it and it never work for our 2 nights and 3 day stay.
Everything about this hotel is great. The room is comfortable, spacious and is very quiet. The hotel is also so new and clean. Also the tv in the room is huge. The parking is free and there are bunch of space to park. They also offer grab n go breakfast which is a plus. Also note that you do need to use the room key to control the light in the room, so maybe it might be best to ask for extra room key to make it easier. Overall highly recommended hotel!!
Came down for our sons high school baseball tournament and will definitely come back again! Very quiet area. Clean hotel which is top on my list. Staff were very professional and accommodating.
Visiting during the Christmas holiday season, the Los Alamitos Fairfield team made the front lobby feel cozy and in the spirit. More importantly, were the Front Desk team that were very helpful and full of holiday cheer. Additionally the maintenance team were amazing and kind, keeping up with the surge of all the holiday visitors. Although I only had coffee and water for breakfast, many were chomping down on the food which I can assume was at least good from the Chobani yogurt to the hot items. Our first impression from the front desk staff was negative… in that they love to say no. No upgrade (even though I was confirmed), no welcome points (has to fight for this as a Platinum member), no water (had to fight for this too). Too bad since the hotel was nice and clean.
I have stayed at this hotel frequently over the last six months (2× a month for a week at a time) and plan to continue. Nice welcoming staff who recognize you and have truly genuine conversations. Local restaurants and stores within walking distance. This has the neighborhood feel I looked for.
The girl is new and has all the modern amenities. You need your room key to turn on the light which reminds me of my travels in Europe. You feel safe in the hotel as you need your key to enter the lobby. Due to COVID, the gym had ti be scheduled ahead of time and only for one person or family. Bummer! But Understable. Overall great vibes frkm the front desk.

I want a refund. I booked my reservation months ahead and the best room you give me is the one next to the kitchen. All I heard every morning was loud banging and thumping from as early as 4am to 10am. It was ridiculous. I am never coming back here again.I never received any of the complimentary things I asked for as well. What kind of hotel are you running here?
All the staff members from the moment I checked in until I checked out was very friendly. The rooms are cleaned and good size. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Close to the freeway and shopping stores. Thank you Natalie for making our stay a rememberable one.
Because of a loud wedding party above us, that went on ALL night, we were awakened at 1:30 am and never were able to sleep after that. The manager said he would talk to them, but apparently had no effect, and we weren’t able to move until the next day. We were miserable the next day because of lack of sleep and it was Easter Sunday. The hotel is new and very nice, but I was shocked by the loudness we could hear in our room below. I would have appreciated a refund of our first night. The breakfast was a prepackaged burrito and muffin and yogurt. . No fresh fruit, cereal, etc. We’ve stayed at another Marriott brand recently and had oatmeal, egg, sausage, cereal, milk, toast, etc offered to us. The staff was friendly, but not effective in helping us the first night.
The room was clean and cozy. BUT, there was no soundproofing between room and room, so I could hear all the conversations and mobile alarms in the next room. Very unsuitable for a long stay.And the hosekeeper didnt even empty the bin and took all my tips. I couldnt understand that.
I have stayed here several times already. It is the cleanest hotel I have stayed in, since it is new. Bed was comfortable and bathroom/shower is nice. Front desk staff are friendly and quick to answer or resolve issues. This is the hotel I would return to in this area. As a Bonvoy Gold Elite member, upgrade to the king suite was honored.
Very clean, great location, the king beds were perfect. Couldn’t keep the air conditioner working when we left the room. We’ll try to figure that out the next time.Most importantly the Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.Excited to return.We travel from Las Vegas for every Rams game.
Hotel accommodations were good aa far as bed, cleanliness. We called before traveling to ask about the breakfast and were told a full meal, waffles, eggs, etc. What was offered was pack and go. The sandwich was egg/cheese/sausage, not for a vegetarian. I would have packed a breakfast if I was given the correct information. Very disappointed!!!
We picked this Los Alamitos Fairfield Inn & Suites for the rooms with two king beds and the location convenient to both Disneyland and the beach. We were pleased with the facility including the pool, outdoor seating area and the room layout, and the service from the front desk, cleaning and breakfast staff. We do wish the design had included a hot tub, and look forward to when breakfast can be more than grab and go, but the pool was nicely maintained and the breakfast was ample (fruit, pastries, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, Chobani yogurt). This was our first time at a Fairfield Inn & Suites and we look forward to trying other locations as well as returning here when we cycle back to So Cal in a few years.
Courteous and friendly staff, from front desk workers to the cleaning staff. Hotel was very clean with plenty of parking. Location was great. Only about 15 mins from Seal Beach and Knotts Berry Farm. Also lots of dining options around and close to freeway. Will definitely be back.

The Fairfield Inn has been my hotel for overnight trips or 2 week events. It is the cleanest and freshest smelling hotel I have stayed in in a very long time. Its quiet, has complimentary breakfast and the staff is wonderful. Its in a great location near restaurants, the beach and medical facilities.
I never got any sleep...asked the front desk clerk to put me in a quiet location. They put me on the 1st floor closest to the street and close to an exit. Could hear cars and hotel guests coming and going all night. The guest in his room next to mine played music alllll night until 3am. I walked to the lobby to find someone...waited 10min and no one came. went back to my room and called the front desk...someone answered and said they would make a courtesy call to the guest in the next room...they never did. I like the location. rooms were clean. just couldnt get any sleep. probably wont be back here.
While the hotel is new, clean, and lovely, I cant think of a breakfast service at any hotel Ive seen that is more ludicrous than this. First of all, I live in hotels all over the country every night. Everyone is serving full breakfast again with the exception of a rare hotel trying to be cheap and use covid as an excuse or refusing to pay a living wage and have no staff. This hotel just thinks that there are some foods you can serve yourself (waffles, oatmeal bar, coffee, yogurt) and there are other foods that you cant touch and need to be served to you (cereal, eggs, muffins in individual wrappers). The dumbest thing one could possibly come up with.
Very good experience. The staff was courtesy and helpful. The pool area and outside fire pit area was nice. The parking lots were well lit. Hoping that the breakfast will be back to normal the next time we are there. Within walking distance of restaurants and shopping.
Very confortable rooms, the staff is very courteous and you noticed the effort and the desire to help their customers. The Hotel is conveniently located to the Anaheim Angels stadium and Disneyland. We were able to attend 4 baseball games and the Grand prix. Good restaurants in the neighborhood.
We stayed here for two nights. Overall staff was nice and the whole area was clean. The staff was attentive during breakfast service and kept everything clean and stocked.
Newer hotel located next to lots of restaurants. Its 10 minutes to the beach! Customer service was excellent. Breakfast was decent for being in the middle of the pandemic. We cant wait to return!
My car got side-swiped while parked in a marked spot. Manager says she would check cameras and give me information. I never heard back. 1 werk later I had to ask another employee and they told me the camera couldnt clearly see persons vehicle license plate. So I had to fix without any assistance.
I wanted to love this place, and it has some very nice points but there are detail items.First, every hotel is built with paper thin walls? WHY??? People make noise, some artificial (radios, TVs) some organic (talking, and uh ... well .. other noises). SOUNDPROOF the walls. Our neighbor started playing music at 2:30 AM. Not insanely loud, but certainly loud enough to wake us. We called down to the lobby and it stopped shortly after.Follow through. I called the hotel to add my wife’s name, and in lieu of the e-check in the person said he would block us into a top floor room (obviously we are light sleepers; we’re older), and sure enough when we arrived we had been put on the third floor. I mean, really? Desk clerk rectified it, but that was really an unnecessary step.Cleanliness. Trash allowed to accumulate. Unsightly at any time but unforgivable when sanitation is supposedly the main focus.Expired elevator permits. Just ... no.Unprofessional signs. We mentioned that we are more seasoned. Handwritten signs are always tacky, but misspelled handwritten signs are never okay. I mentioned to the clerk that someone needed a dictionary she said the sign person was in a hurry. So, er, being in a hurry makes you forget how to spell?So those are the details. In the bigger picture, the place is brand new, seemingly clean, certainly well-lit, and the staff is trying.Bed was an 8 out of 10. Huge TVs, fair number of channels. Street noise minimal.Hotels don’t offer much during COVID so we might give them a try after the pandemic but we actually prefer our regular hotel, the Residence Inn down the street. Feels a bit more “grown up”.
As expected the Fairfield was excellent. All except for the poor breakfast offering of prepackaged breakfast sandwich with drink. How about fruit, prepackaged hard-boiled eggs and instant oatmeal? We are a year and a half into Covid. Certainly Marriott can come up with something better than what I was offered.
Everything is new and clean! Front desk is super helpful. Free breakfast is a huge plus. Would definitely come back.
We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Los Alamitos. Can’t wait to come back! The hotel is located near the freeway and near Katella Blvd. It is new, clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful and courteous. Our experience surpassed our expectations. Our only criticism would be that the pool is too small.

Breakfast was great (bean and cheese burritos), but was assigned an uncleaned room initially. Also did not recognize my late checkout request, which forced me to change my schedule. Agreed on a 2 pm checkout instead of 4 pm, but was bothered 3 times in-person by staff asking when I was checking out.
This hotel was great. Stayed in the double King size bed room with a little living room. Gave us all extra space and was very large. Bathroom was large and beds are comfortable.
This new property was a real find. The latest technology and pandemic protections made our visit a very comfortable one. The room had all the amenities and the staff made our stay very pleasant. We will be back.

This was a very nice place to stay overnight. My first impression was of cleanliness. That is so important these days. Also, the room was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable also.
Lovely building it’s new construction and there isn’t a bunch of noise from outside. And a few minutes from the beach. My only issue was that I requested extra towels twice but they were never brought to me.
I had a room with 2 queen beds, shower, bathtub, a mini fridge, a microwave and a flat screen TV that includes Netflix.Everything is very clean and everyone very friendly especially management.Only thing I have to note is the lighting system for the room requires a room key so make sure to ask for an extra

Honestly, this hotel is one mistake after another. Ill give them the that its a new hotel, and its done nicely inside.... but it all falls apart from there. Lets start with the mobile key, which was designed to make checking in on the app the only form of check in... not having to go to the front desk, wait in a 45 minute line, get a physical key, and then go to the room. Thats not how this one works (although every other hotel in this chain operates the normal way).. here, you check in on the app, wait for 3 hours to get your mobile key, realize that youre not going to get it, then go stand in line for 45 minutes waiting for a physical key. Efficient? Not at all. Then lets talk about the wifi. Usually there are 2 levels of wifi, regular and enhanced. Enhanced is offered to gold and higher for free, and for everyone else if they pay per day... that doesnt exist here. So, youre stuck on dial up speeds.... I mean, DIAL UP (like 2002 era speeds) good luck working from this hotel if you need to have a zoom meeting. The customer service is lacking, there is almost no training, I watched them turn away a titanium elite to another hotel because they couldnt figure out how to get the poor guy a room. Its a train wreck. There are a dozen options to choose from around here if youre a Marriott loyalist. Choose them, not this one. They need to figure out how to run a hotel before Ill ever come back.
The customer service at this hotel was great! We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist, Kayla! The room we stayed in was very clean, and it lived up to its expectations.
Many things are great about the rooms but......shower door allowed water to leak onto outside floor.....bathroom sink faucet was too short and water continuously ran onto counter. Other than these 2 things our room was great!

Im literally here now....sitting up...at 2:30am mad because the ppl next door are playing loud music. went down to the lobby twice to find someone....no one is there. tried to use the Marriott app. no one replied...This is a nice location, rooms are great, clean, the walls are just too thin. I can hear ppl snoring in other rooms. its bothering my sleep. overall a subpar experience.

This new hotel is very clean and the bathrooms are awesome. I personally won’t be back because they do not offer coffee makers in the room, they do not provide water or ice, and they advertise “hot breakfast” in the morning but after you arrive and pay they tell you that because of COVID they aren’t doing “hot breakfast”. It was a disappointment.
This hotel felt brand new and very clean even in the middle of Covid. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was perfect- close enough to all of our destinations and freeways. This will be our new go-to hotel when we visit Orange County.
Newly constructed hotel on bustling Los Alamitos Blvd. As a former local that grew up in this area, and stayed here to visit family, this Fairfield checked all the boxes for my family and I. Large comfortable rooms, (had a 2 king) amazing toiletries by Paul Mitchell, a pool and weight room (didn’t have time to use) a grab and go type continental breakfast (COVID restrictions dictate this offering currently) Location is ideal for all types of travelers. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance, and many popular attractions are super close by.
The hotel and room was very clean and pleasant, with a location that was very convenient. Every time the staff had an opportunity to speak with you, they would ask if there was anything you needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

They knocked on my door at 11:02. That is 2 minutes after 11:00 a.m. check out. I was on a web meeting, and I asked housekeeping if I could checkout a few minutes late. Housekeeping agreed to ask the front desk. Two minutes later they called the room to tell me, I needed to check out. I asked again about late check out. They said no, I needed to get out. It was 11 minutes past checkout.

I am a travel agent and I stay at Marriott hotels, so I can refer them to my clients. This particular Marriott hotel the Fairfield inn, my room didnt have extra toilet paper so I called the front desk and they told me they would bring me up some, as house cleaning was gone so I waited and waited and never received our toilet paper. I called down the front desk again and they told me I would have to go down to the front desk and get it myself. When I walked out our hotel room there was house cleaning right there and they were able to give me toilet paper when I was told they had left. When I went down to complain to the front desk all three employees just looked at me and said sorry nothing to rectify the situation. The room I was in the heating and air did not work properly as it was extremely stuffy in the room. Once again I told the front desk and they did nothing about it.
Room was very nice. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was horrible because there was only one hot choice and it had sausage for 4 days In a row. Which I hate. Should have a non sausage choice as well.
Everything was great. Easy check in/out. Room was clean and even received a free upgrade. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Staff used my debit card to pay for someone else’s room and the charges are still there. They said the card was on file but we only used this card once to pay for points. We never asked them or gave Marriott permission to keep this personal information on file. Instead of using my free time to relax, I spent it sorting this mess out.

2023-07-31 00:38:32If you are traveling to this area, this is the best place to stay. Very comfortable rooms. Very nice and clean hotel housekeeping staff are so very nice and friendly. The towels are so clean. The bedsheets are very nice and clean. I love the breakfast buffet they have every morning you have so many choices to choose from whatever you want to eat, they have scrambled eggs, waffles, breads, coffee, fruit, like apple orange yogurt I love their breakfast buffet . They also have the coffee 24 hours in the cafeteria. they have a small pool. They also have a mini fridge and microwave a mini coffee machine in the room. They also have a separate washing area for the guest which also has a table chair and a TV in case you want to sit there however, I was only able to wash my clothes, but couldn’t dry because the machine stopped working. But luckily, there is a washer and dryer 3 minutes away from the hotel. I like the location because there are many restaurants close by. I have came with my family and we had a pleasant stay. The only thing I wish the staff had as a little more hospitality because none of them ever had a smile on face and not friendly.

All of the wrongs by Marriotts customer service by phone were straightened out by these people for sure!!!Huge kudos to the GM as clearly this comes from the top and these people must have been hand selected to love and serve people like they did my family and all the other guests I saw them interact with!Great job @LosAlamitosFairfieldInn !!!

None of the employees like her, and she talks rudely to customers and puts her mgr down, that she does everything...makes comments that Marriott doesnt pay her enough. All other employees are very kind....she belongs at a Motel 6, more her speed.

2023-05-14 21:05:01A very nice place to stay. Brennan at the Front Desk checked me in and out, and he was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms and hallways have energy saving devices, which is nice. The rooms have special cleaning protocols. My only complaint is that breakfast closed early, so make sure to get your food 30 minutes before its supposed to close.

2023-07-13 23:44:50Love this new Fairfield. Been a long time Marriot customer and usually stay in the Residence Inn collection. However, this location is super convenient, very clean, with fantastic friendly & helpful staff! Cant go wrong here.For a bonus, there are several very good restaurant within a block or 2 of the location. A great liquor store next door, several shops, a barbor shop & even a brewery. What else do you need! Forgot to mention that the hotel has a fitness room, pool, free breakfast, FREE parking, and firepits to enjoy. This is my new go to hotel for Orange County, CA.

2022-09-18 22:50:01We stayed here two nights in August, and it was a perfect stay! The room was spacious and very comfortable. Its laid out well and very clean. The people working were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area had a good variety of food selections and was very clean. I liked that you could go outside to eat as well. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. Thank you to all who made it such a great stay!

2022-12-09 14:41:42Hotel is clean as a whistle. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Personally, the location was a little further out from where I needed to be. For others, it may be fine. Well lit and a secure feeling.Breakfast selections are very average, but the breakfast staff is very good.
