When the owner is there serve us much better. The food was mediocre, the chicken kebabs were good, I did not like being served with paper plates. Part of our guest were help serving because the waitresses forgot many items . I was not happy . The place needs a paint job inside and better signs outside .

Delicious food, no frills dining room, friendly service. Great place for a quick bite that isn’t boring fast food chains. The lamb shawarma sandwich was delicious with bright pickles, seasoned land, and creamy sauce. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area!

Absolutely the best falafel in the Bay area, they tabuleh, falafel wrap/sandwich, and falafel plate is out of the world. Very similar to what we get in the Middle East. Their kanafi was also v good. Very good service. Very friendly people and owners. Love their food.

Had read good reviews about this place, so dropped in to check it out.Tried a Veggie Falafel sandwich and a Chicken Sandwich for my partner.My falafel sandwich was very tasty, and the falafel were very fresh and quite in number to fill me up. Tons of fresh veggies were added too, like pickled onions, tomato and cucumber. Definitely worth a try!But the main highlight was their baklava. Honestly, I’d rate it 10/10. We loved it SO much that we bought one more just to finish it off in few bites. So crunchy, and the layers were delicately cooked with fresh walnuts and pistachios, AND it was home-made!Very affordable place and a must-visit for a quick bite. And don’t forget to try the baklava!

I had a chicken Shawarma sandwich which was really like a pita but with the tender chicken and crunchy vegetables inside, it tasted unique and homemade. I sat outside as they were plenty of seats and enjoyed the sunshine. Some of the best value I’ve seen for a personal meal. Extensive menu so everyone should be able to find something they like!

I visited this place very recently, decent place with a spacious seating capacity and peaceful environment. Had chicken Shawarma sandwich(served in a warm pocket bread stuffed with slices of chicken marinated with shawarma seasoning along side with tomato, cucumber, pickles and cabbage etc which is an ok item and then had Tahineh Soup which is good with some fries. And finally the dessert item that is Knaffee ( made with melted sweet cheese with shredded filo dough and topped with Arabic syrup which is served warm). Knaffee was tooo sweet as I asked for more Arabic syrup but it tasted amazing....

I love falafel and has been eating the sandwiches, plates or salad at many stops. My rating is based on the quality, quantity and the price here. I found it tastier than many/all falafel shops except Sunnyvale one which I found the best so far.My below comparison is based on the Falafel Salad@Sunnyvale vs Falafel plate here which is same and here is my comparison.This one: $16, less salad w/ less ingredients, 6 ballsFalafel Stop: $10.99, a lot of salad with more ingredients, ~10 ballsI understand that there might be some differences for location but probably I will only return if I am tempting and not in a situation to drive down to Sunnyvale for some reason.

If you havent experienced this delightful spot hurry up and do so. The falafels are fried to order, always a cut above because it is moist and fluffy on the inside with a delicate crunch on the outside. Not oily.The onions tossed in red sumac spice elevates every bite. For a little kick add peppers. If you like a smooth as silk lemony hummus this is your spot. The Greek salad is basic however the dressing might have you licking your plate. Dont forget to nibble on the pickles. One day we will remember to order the knaffee with melted sweet cheese.

This place has been my go-to place for many many years. I learnt a lot from this place that not all Falafel are same, shape, using mold or by hand, and so on. Their salad is really not Greek salad. And heard about all kinds of story about middle east. They are all different like Falafel,.. Now things are different every where. No one to talk to, double the price (every where, not just here). Lower the quality. Lamb used to be fresh out of kitchen that fat are taken care of. Diners restaurant like salad. (Just cut lettuce with little dressing) Falafel still taste good. I want to support restaurant like this 20 years ago, not a landlord. What if we prepay a year worth of Falafel (at discount) where you dont need to deal with gouged rent. We ordered chicken shawarma plate, lentil soup and falafel. Falafel was good but chicken was very dry and it felt like old. Lentil soup was very hot and they serve it in a foam cup, when I asked them why they are serving hot liquid in a plastic cup they said foam is not plastic but foam is a expanded plastic which even takes long time to degrade and harmful to health. Honestly we go in person to eat food to reduce the plastic waste but it seems like even if you in person they serve in single use here. Honestly it hurts when ppl doesn’t care for customers health and planet health. Never going back to falafel etc again.

Best falafel for *miles*. Hot pita that seems homemade, I havent asked. And the tabouli is bright green with parsley and tastes like fresh lemon. Ive been eating here for many years and never had a bad meal but as a vegetarian, keep coming back to the falafel plate and stuffing myself on it.

Best falafel and hummus in the Bay area. I had originally rated this 5 stars. But today I changed this to a one star. They have complimentary onions. Today the man behind the counter scolded my wife for taking too many complimentary onions. This was highly insulting and not the way to treat a woman and a customer. If the onions are so precious, dont make them complimentary.

Everything I have tried here is real good and fresh. You can feel that in the first bite till the last one. Its finger licking good. I like falafel sandwich personally. Their Ganaffe is made to order and its very yummy. Salads are fresh.I live in the area and If I think of Falafel on my mind this restaurant is always on the top of my mind. They give generous sauce portions when asked for and staff puts customer first. Its a must try !!

Probably the best Mediterranean food in Fremont -- and the ambience is not that of a take-out, but actually nice. They even have outdoor seating. Falafel, in particular, is crispy, flavorful and tasty. Lamb shawarma worked pretty well with their hummus - so we will be coming back, for sure.Update: still as great as before!And, and the desserts are EPIC - Knafeh is magical.

I get falafals here every time I drive through Fremont. The food is fresh and fast, tasty and authentic. Usually I get the falafel sandwich wrap, but I also tried the hommus before, and all tasted great.Expect to be in and out of here with fresh food in 10-15 minutes most of the time. My food cost is about $10-$15. Falafals are the best. Dont forget the tahini.Next to new housing area / new construction; they have their own parking lot shared with a couple other businesses. Look for a big metal-frame, multi-floor tall office building just now being built next door (new construction) towards the north side of this business. I went with my dog (She stayed in the car), and we also found street parking by the grass.

This is the worst experience i ever had with Mediterranean food. I ordered Chicken Shawarma, Chicken kabob plate and Dolma. Shawarma was way too dry to eat, no sauce provided or even offered along with it. Chicken in the kabab plate was fine but bland rice and salad with no hummus. Which Mediterranean place doesnt give hummus with kabob place. Dolma is canned looks like months old and they charge 4 dollars for mere 5 pieces. I called to give them a genuine feedback but, to my utter surprise the manager was not willing to take my review. I feel he is very rude and didnt even considered listening to me properly. The worst experience while having food never ever will go there neither would suggest you to order anything from there.

The consistency of this place makes me wish I lived closer. I use to get hummus and dolmas to take home because my girlfriend like them and we both love them from Falafel, etc. I ordered a couple dinner plates and switched out the sides. So lets start with the hummus: creamy and smooth flavor = delicious. The dolmas: savory and tangy = so good. Cabbage salad: not sweet, not salty, a little tangy and snappy but not crunchy = bangn. Tabouli salad: pronounced mint and parsley, earthy bulgar wheat, perfect texture = devine. I could go on and review the kabobs or chicken shawarma, but honestly if a place doesnt do hummus or tabouli as well as it is done here; is it worth trying?

Best kabobs Ive had. I finally tried this place after years of living nearby. I had a kafta Kabob plate with rice and a salad. It was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. They definitely cook the kabobs when you order. I went back the day after and tried their chicken kabob plate. It was just as delicious. I am now a huge fan of this place. Up next is the lamb kabob plate, and at some point their felafel. If you like good kabobs give these guys a shot.

Went with two friends who are regulars. The food was very good for the price. Nothing really unique for Fremont. It was full the night we were there with families with small children...a little noisey. Was told that that is unusual, it normally is a quiet place. Best Mediterranean food in the bay. Where do I start. They have amazing falafels not bland like some places can be. Also the lamb kabob is my favorite it was so tender and juicy best piece of meat I have had in years. They gave utensils w/out asking (big props) Cons: small falafal compared to simalarly priced plates in the area--bout 1/2 of a full falafel. The entire plare had really child size servings compared to typical middle eastern restaurants including the mcdonalds-style fries, barely a handful. There was no tahini dip. No one answered the phone (customers trying to place orders?). They told me 6 minutes but it was 20 and the falafel was actually barely warm! I will probably not be back..

Dont even waste your time and money there. The chicken shawarma plate was made with some crumbs of 2 days ago made chicken...overly salted and completely indistinguishable from the french fries. I should have known once I saw their grill cold in Saturday.Kefta-kebap had too strong taste of sheep meet. Very unpleasant.Nothing was either fresh or tasty.Maybe good reviews (surprised) came in the week days, but in the weekend - youll eat the remnants from the days before.

Signs at condiment bar threatening customers that theyll be charged if they deviate from using only the 2 little plastic containers provided by the cashier is over-the-top & ruined whatever charm the place had. This message changed our opinion of this establishment. This was a shame, since the food was quite good. It would make sense (& save management the expense of those little containers) to allow guests to put condiments onto ones dinner plate... Such an unfriendly & unwelcoming warning ruined our experience. We wont go back.

Located in a funky looking mini strip mall, this unassuming restaurant has one of the best falafel sandwiches that I have had in some time. The falafel was fantastically crisp on the outside with a delicious and moist interior. The sandwich is loaded up with cucumbers, tomatoes, pickles, and other assorted deliciousness without making the sandwich soggy or unwieldy to eat. The best falafel Ive ever had, and Ive tried many in the SF Bay Area. The falafel has always been moist, which is the usual shortcoming at other falafel restaurants. Also great sauces and fixings to go with the falafel wrap. The location is not ideal for a restaurant so they dont get much traffic, but I only consider this a bonus for those that know of this gem.

Because today when I was getting their complimentary onions and pickle, the man behind the counter walked over and told me he didnt like that I was ordering only two sides of falafel, pita and hummus but eating their complimentary onions. This place turned out to be a big disappointment. I had ordered chicken shwarma from the family meal section where they clearly mention serves 5-6 people. While placing the order also I made sure what I was ordering but what I got was just the shwarma meat and nothing else! The website needs to mention clearly that this is just the shwarma meat and not shwarma. Even a simple Google search will show what a shwarma is! And this is not the 1st time that I have ordered chicken shwarma but it was the first and last time from this restaurant. They didnt even try to help me when I told them while picking the order.
