Good food and good size portions. Only negative was very limited service and staff interactions. You place your order on a screen, self pay & get your drinks. So if its your first time it can be a little difficult. But a ton of space and great parking.

Came here for dinner and was super excited to try a new place. The restaurant is super clean, has plenty of seating and staff is kind.We ordered a chicken wrap (looks like chicken shawarma) and a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was excellent. Respectfully, the chicken wrap wasnt good. It definitely doesnt taste like middle eastern food. The presentation was good. they are very generous with the amount of meat they put in the wrap which is a plus. The wrap looked delicious however the taste wasnt good at all. The chicken lacked so much flavor even salt didnt help. I was reading some other reviews and I have to agree that the middle eastern flavor is not in this food.I want to emphasize that the burger really was delicious and I ended up ordering two total! Will definitely come back to try their other burgers!I definitely recommend this restaurant to reevaluate their spices and flavor for the chicken wrap.5 stars for the service and atmosphere.

Tried out this new Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Hayward and were pleasantly impressed by their food options. It’s conveniently located with ample parking space.We tried three of their dishes and found them to be quiet tasteful. The Crispy Chicken Burger is fried to perfection and the sauces make it a good burger. For starters we tried the Dolma and side of Falafel. Both were good, I liked the falafel a lot and would recommend. Overall great to find another good Mediterranean restaurant. Will surely go back.

Food looks delicious the place is nice and clean but the Middle Eastern taste is not there. Hummus was not good at all. Rice looked fine but the taste just wasn’t there.Okay place to grab a quick bite if you can’t find something around. Definitely not a place I would be craving.

Brand new Falafel spot. Very spacious and roomy spot. Service was overall good and personable. They just opened so it took a bit to get our food, but I’m sure it’ll improve as they work out their processes. They took care of us so that’s a huge win.The food (I had the chicken quesadilla and my friend had the lamb gyro) was good. The portion for the gyro was big but the quesadilla was on the smaller side. They still gave us curly fries even though we thought we ordered it but didn’t actually pay for it. That was awesome of them. They also gave us 2 free Baklava desserts since they’re newly opened.The music being played inside was ambient sleepy music, but that’s more of a preference thing and an easy fix. Hoping this place does well. The food and service itself was good!

We live in Kentucky so we don’t have much opportunity to have this cuisine so when we travel we’re always on the lookout for it. Read lots of reviews and luckily our experience lived up to them! Great veggie and meat eater options. Quite generous with the sauces which is always a bonus. Great staff.

UPDATE: Dropping to 3 stars because the prices have gone up an insane amount in the past year. I just paid $35 for a large pizza here yesterday. Not quite worth it anymore. ORIGINAL: Ive been going here 2-3 times a month ever since it opened. Its one of the better halal options in Hayward. The food is pretty decent, though not mind blowingly special. Badmaash Burger, Texan Burger, and Hawaiian Burger are the best burger options. Try the all-meat pizza if youre a pizza person. Chicken wrap is solid. Platters are okay, but not what I would come here for; gets the job done when Im in the mood. Prices are a bit high; theyre more along the lines of what I would expect from a specialty place rather than a basic franchise like this. The restaurant interior is pretty big with plenty of seating and its not ever really too busy. But do keep in mind that the food does take like 25-30 minutes minimum. So order ahead or be prepared to wait a while.

Delicious food, clean place super tasty. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because there were a little bit stressed with to go and dine in orders. The hummus was superb and the falafel plate well presented. Rice had nice texture and not dry.

I would highly recommend Falafel Flame to everyone.I come here at least once a week. Ive tried their Falafels, Gyros and Kabobs, all very tasty. Dont forget to get one of many varieties of Baklavas for dessert.They also have pizzas and hambergers.

This place is so yummy! We ordered a chicken platter and beef kabab. You get a good sized portion of the delicious food. I love how there was a little bit of everything that came with the platter (salad, pita, hummus, etc). Great food and great customer service. Meraj was super friendly and really made our dining experience enjoyable. I am excited to try more things from the menu soon. Must try!!(:

Theres extra parking in the back, the wraps start at 10.99 and I only paid 12.00 including tax. I enjoyed my Falafal wrap it was a little different then what Im used to. I asked for extra sauce and it was very juicy. I like the pickles lettuce tomatoes and onions the tahini sauce was mixed with mayo and it was actually great. I would like to try the gyro pizza, the falafal or chicken plates next time. They have some delicious deserts drinks and sides to choose from. They also make pizzas, burgers, fried calamari, salads, and fries. Many different options to choose from.

I recommend this place if you are craving a juicy burger. I got the flame burger with is a burger with 2 pattys, lettuce, tomatoes, a sunny side up egg, bacon, cheese, pickles, and delicious sauces. It was huge and VERY good. I highly recommend their burgers. I also got curly fries which were a little too crispy. The hummus was also good. Prices were a little expensive but in the end it’s worth it.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I ordered the chicken kebab plate and it was delicious. The chicken tasted fresh, juicy, not dry, well seasoned and it wasn’t spicy. I got hot sauce on the side because I like a little spice. The pita bread was freshly made and hot like it came out of an oven. Also the cashier was really nice and approachable.

After a long day of traveling and photography, we decided (with a friend) to stop by 20mins before the stores closes. Mr. Raihan provided us with an exceptional customer service asking us how was everything, the food was presented whole heartedly by the chefs. It is impressive due to the fact that we are the late night customers that just wanted to have a good food. We expected nothing less but not expecting a warm welcome from Mr. Raihan, this guy deserves a raise! We interacted for awhile while trying to ready ourselves to call it day. Our first time is remarkably satisfying, the whole vibe of the store is 10/10. Please continue to share the same hospitality to everybody. We appreciate it!

This place is a hidden GEM! It’s located in the heart of Hayward right in downtown. There’s plenty of parking (and also in front of the parking garage if needed).I went on a Saturday and ordered a Beef Kebab and my partner ordered the chicken platter. BIG portions so you get your money’s worth. Taste and quality of foods was AMAZING.Dining floor was spacious and you won’t fill too close to others. It’s clean inside and plenty of lights and natural lighting.On top of that, customer service was excellent. Meraj was super friendly and we enjoyed his charisma. Awesome place. Customer service is amazing, they were very patient with my mom who was visiting from other country. We were there in a Friday, it was raining and we were starving. We spend less than $200 in 6 adults and 1 kid drinks and desserts included.Blakaba is incredibly good, as well as a mango desert that they kept on the freezer. Next time that you visit, ask for one.

The food was not bad, but not good enough to justify the $20-$30 price point for entrees. The platters make a little more sense than the kabobs, which pretty much just come with 1 skewer, but even then, I think I would expect the meal to cost around $14-$16. Our meal also took ~30min to arrive.

Came here for a lunch break after getting some work done at the Hayward library, it’s right across the street. Ordered an gyro wrap and it was delicious, one of the better gyros I’ve had in the Bay Area in general!Customer service was great and the place was clean and pleasant to dine in.Saw a couple stray reviews about the place being hot/stuffy and about bad customer service but I’m here to say those aren’t true. The girlfriend and I didnt feel like cooking and decided to do Mediterranean. Weve driven by this place for a while saying we would try it but never made the attempt to. We finally did last night and it was awesome. The gyro plate was stuffed with meat and my girlfriends falafel was fresh, crispy, and very light. Too many places take short cuts with falafels where they come out like dense hockey pucks but not here. We also got a side of baba ganoush and the pita bread was so puffy and tasty. You can definitely tell that this place uses fresh ingredients and really puts a lot of love into their cooking. Their menu is a bit eclectic with Mediterranean food as well as burgers and pizza which Ill have to try next time. They also have fresh mango lassi, Turkish delight, and fresh made baklava which was to die for. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

It was Halloween and we went for lunch to this friendly place. What was spooky and bizarre? To get a perfect salmon burger in a falafel cafe :) Juicy, perfectly done, not charred - on a soft bun with decent pickled cukes, red onion, and salad. No fishy smell, not oily, just right. Babaganoush was creamy and silky, pita was freshly baked and warm (not reheated), and the chicken shish kabob was grilled in the right way - not overdone. The long rice was made with saffron and enough butter to make it yummy, not greasy. The only complain? I wish they had soups on the menu, but then again, perhaps soups are not popular in the East Bay. A gent at the register demanded Adana kebab which was not there - must be good to be this popular :)The owner is very nice; he promised to make some extra Adana next day. He also gives you the estimate waiting time for the kabobs (20 min in our case), so you know what to expect (literally :)) The place is very clean, the tables are not crowded, and the service is impeccable - our plates were removed the moment they were empty.My plans are now to go try the calamari (yes, they do have calamari rings on the menu :)) and the salads.

5 stars for the food alone. I’ve tried the gyro wrap and the falafel wrap, both were bomb. Curly fries and regular fries are on point too.One note: I would order to-go when eating here in the future. When you dine in they don’t offer you free water, they have bottles you can buy but that still put me off. Also it was pretty stuffy inside, not sure if they have A/C.Still, the flavors alone make this place worthy of 5 stars. So glad Hayward finally got a solid traditional gyro/falafel place! Look forward to ordering takeout from here a ton this year.

Bought a falafel wrap yesterday. First time in so I asked how they made their wraps. Sounded okay so took away lettuce, added extra tahini. Mistake!! Wrap dripped sauce, theyd split ONE falafel in half (yep, 1) and added a sliced tomato!! Know because I checked. Falafel wasnt even the normal round crisp ball! Unauthenic, poorly made. 1. False advertisement, menu picture shows two kebabs for Adana platter, when in fact only one kebab was served2. Took over 15 minutes for dine in meal to be served, meanwhile all take outs were served quickly. Dine in service poor3. Food was just OK for the price and dine in experience.4.
