My friend Adam said there were some good Mediterranean restaurants nearby when I told him about my hotel I was staying at. My friend Adam rarely disappoints but in this case he did. Why? Because he was wrong. Its not good. Good isnt even an understatement. It blew me away. This place is -hazardous-to-my-health-outstanding. It makes me want to move to Milbrae. Holy cow (and I didnt even eat it) never experienced so unfamiliar yet delicious food before. I acrually told the woman working there that, yes, while we are in November, this was hands down the best meal of 2023 for me. The owner is from Gaza, started cooking when he was seven and it shows. Im not sure what kind of black magic he uses In his recipes but Im all for it. Portions are generous, good for three or more even, yet I was able to clean up the whole dish myself. I had the veggie platter and it came with about eight falafalls (decent size) two dolmas, amazing salad dressing, a very generous portion or baba ganoush and some Hummus with warm thick pita. Even hot sauce. Rice was decadent and perfectly cooked. Hot. I came back the the next day tried the Schwarma...absolute perfection. Well done Falafio!

Arrived at SFO airport with a couple hours drive ahead of me. Wanted a tasty, filling meal and so lucky to have found this place. I ordered the beef shawarma plate with hummus... wow, delicious! You can easily split between two people. Fresh, beef well seasoned, and warm pita. Will definitely come back before or after a flight.

Um…yum! The lamb shank plate amazing. The rice is super good and the hummus and pita are tasty as well. I was just passing thru and would highly recommend.

Came here for a quick lunch. Kind staff and nice array of Mediterranean plate choices. I got the Lamb Shank plate and it was delicious. A bit pricey at $24, but the food was worth it. Meat fell off the bone. It also comes with a fluffy naan like bread, rice, and a salad. I will definitely be coming back!

I unfortunately have to downgrade my rating as this is now a very expensive place. At one point we used to order every few days from here because the food was great and price was slightly below average for the area. Seems like their price is way above the average nowadays which no longer makes it attractive as much. It also seems like health inspection noted some mold issue in the restaurant, though Im sure staff will be on top of that.Regardless, food is really good here and Id definitely recommend visiting at least once.

I had the filet mignon. The meat was cooked perfectly. Lentil soup was delicious. This place is kind of hidden around the corner. Dont miss it

One of the best food in town. The kebab was cooked perfectly and very soft. Dont forget to try the dessert.. all of them looks phenomenal. Thank you so much to Rami who really help me out for the food. If you confused what to order, dont worry, all of them are nice. Enjoy 😉

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Falafio Mediterranean Cuisine! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a fantastic meal. The menu offered a wonderful variety of Mediterranean dishes, and each bite was a burst of authentic flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean coast. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the hummus was smooth and rich, accompanied by freshly baked pita bread. The attentive and friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Hungry and want authentic Palestinian cuisine? Look no further, Falafio has it all, from hot and succulent beef shawarma; platter or sandwich, to the Falafio platter which boasts a generously portioned meats balanced with richly flavoured rice and a medley of crisp vegetables made into a beautiful salad. To top it off, the yogurt drink pairs very well with the meal, and you cant have a meal without baklava, pictures posted. They even have jazzed up water for those who are lactose intolerant.

I wanted to try something new around Millbrae, and this 5-star Mediterranean place popped up on Yelp. I didnt realize it was in the same plaza as In N Out and Panera. The location wasnt the best as this was around the corner and on the street. I nearly missed it and thought my GPS was wrong.This place gives generous portions though, especially the meats. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate and it had plenty of chicken. The flavor was pretty good, but meat was a bit dry. In fact I had to ask for more tzatziki just to offset the dryness. Wish the salad had some dressing as I was eating hummus with it. The pita bread was good and much needed to pair with the chicken.Maybe I caught this place on an off day, but I would eat at this place again as it has good value. Perhaps a beef Kabob next time.
