This restaurant feels very local to SoCal upon entering. They serve halal indian and pakistani food. Chicken tikka massala was good, but I feel that it’s a bit too thick that it clumped into a cube when refrigerate. Indian curry I had was usually less thick than this. The palak paneer was good! I went in a summer month and mosquitoes were around. I got bitten a few spots.

Recommended by nephew. I like lamb so much, ordered a Lamb Tikka Masala. Not bad but lamb flavor isnt enough. The Chicken rice and beef are great. Garlic naan is a must try. Then try a cup of free Chai will complete the whole meal.

Impressive place here in California, i was wondering what they have to offer and its really delicious. The service is the quickest I’ve seen in Indian restaurants, within 10 mins food was on the table, delicious selections, we ordered several plates to see what’s this place all about and it didn’t disappoint.I do recommend this place, plates are relatively inexpensive, $10 to $12 a plate, try the chicken 65, the portions really worth it.Head over there for yourself!

It was my first time ordering from this spot and it was not worth it.. I paid $16 for just chicken in a small container. I thought I was going to get rice at least on the side but no it was just chicken with the Indian sauce. Thank god I ordered four deep fried potato triangles for $5 … and if you wanted just one piece is bread, it’s $4?? I would rather just make this at home for way cheaper.

This little gem of a restaurant is located in Lomita California. Been here many years ago and it was fantastic. As always I love to do spot checks on restaurants that Ive tried before. I do this to help the hungry readers with a fare and impartial rating. There is no parking in from of Famous Tandori. However, there is ample parking in the rear.Outside in the back adjacent to the rear door is a nice little outside dinning area. As you enter inside, the dinning room is separated by a wall with two 5x 4 openings with potted plants. The floor and kitchen are clean. When we entered we were warmly greeted and seated and given menues. We picked Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, Beef Samosa and Lamb Pulau. Also ordered was a mango drink. The Chicken Tikka Masala is served in a medium spicy red sauce. The chicken was cut into chunks and was tender. The sauce was so good I would have drank it straight. The spice puts a nice bead of sweat on the forehead. The Palak Paneer is a creamy spinach in creamy cheese with small chunks of cheese. This treat was well worth the order. The Lamb Pulau was served with a large amount of well seasoned. The meat on the lamb shank pulled right off the boned. The meat was fantastic!!!!!!Also ordered were beef somosas. These are made to order and are packed full of well seasoned beef. This is served with a nice amount of meat. This is truly a hidden gem of rich tasting truly homemade Indian/ Pakistani food. A MUST VISIT!

Food was amazing. Pretty fair prices. We are spicy lover and we get what we expected. Everything was perfect. The food was hot enough and the spice level was to the liking. Do recommend anybody please check this place out, it deserves a lot more of a appreciation

During my visit, I ordered a Lunch Special— a tray filled Chicken Biryani, Chicken Seekh, Chicken Karahi, Daal, Salad, and Chutney. The special also came with Naan. I also got a Mango Lassi for dessert/to cool down the delicious spicy food. My total for everything came well under $20 and I had leftovers.
