Farmers Brewing Restaurant and Taproom in Chico

I really enjoy Farmers. Today I had my dog with me and we sat on the shaded patio cooled by the misters. The service was excellent. They brought a dish of water for my dog. They were attentive to my order. The prawns appetizer was so delicious (the sauce and little biscuits were SO good)! The hamburger was the best Ive had in a while - Bacon Jam burger. Two patties and they were so juicy and the bun was really fresh. Im looking forward to returning again (probably for the crazy nachos!!)

Great beer selection and good food! All with supper friendly service! The food was decent and the prices are reasonable! I highly recommend this place! The design of the place is so beautiful and the outdoor seating area is great! Highly recommended!

The nachos here are freakin AMAZING! We had a full order which is easily enough for four people, tonights chips were a bit well done but still good.I had the pasta with the alfredo sauce, I would give it a 1 out of 10, had no taste beyond the blue cheese on top. The menu says its an alfredo sauce, it is not at all. The sauce is that from a stroganoff dish or similar and had no taste, attempted to add salt. I had to put so much salt on it to get any type of flavor it ended up being inedible.The Mediterranean salad was very good, zero complaints about that!We ordered deep red beers, possibly the fruity farmer? It was very very berry and absolutely delicious!The service was not good this time, our waitress never came back to check on how our food was or if we needed anything else. Had to wave my hands and sternly get her attention in order to get another drink. Typically the service is very good with everyone else on the waitstaff.All in all it wasnt a bad experience, just not great. This is a great place to get beers and nachos!

The outdoor patio had misters and plenty of shade that made for a very pleasant outdoor dining experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly. The food was delicious and had generous portions. Will definitely come again!

We went to Farmers after a trip to Mt Lassen and we had our dog with us so we had a table outside. It was extremely hot but they were happy to serve us outside. We were in the shade with the misters going but it was too hot for us and the dog. The service was very good as was the food and beer. I wish we could have enjoyed it longer but we had to go. The Outlaw Burger is awesome!!

I had their Korean chicken sandwich. It was amazing!! I’ve never had anything like it! Our waiter Ryan was great! I definitely recommend this place! Oh and all the puppies that i got to pet was pretty awesome too:)

We were passing through Chico so we stop here for a meal and a beer on the outside patio. The service was excellent and the meals were good. Oh!And the beer worked on the dry throat 😋

Looks shiny on the outside. Lots of welcoming atmosphere.A little underwhelming when Ive been in. Three times out of three.Great if you want a minimal menu but with those few items made well.The place screams that it wants to be a fun, accessible option to Fifth Street but just cant quite pull that off.

Food and beer are great BUT service is not what it should be. Off duty staff like to sit at the bar and drink as well as distract the host and other serving staff away from the front door and tables, not giving guests the attention they deserve, like a little high school clique! NOT a good look for front of house staff… did however really enjoy my food!! Thank you kitchen!

Me and my wife love stopping here on our way back to Quincy for a good meal and beer. Patio is very nice out front and in the summer they have cornhole boards and music. Great place. And the best gift shop. Their look is perfect.
