Fast cat coffee is a new local gem that I have recently found. It’s right by the California family fitness on fair Oaks Boulevard near Manzanita and fair Oaks. Unlike anything else in town, the racing car and motorcycle vibe that has that rugged local fair Oaks feel. A place to fill up your engine before heading out on your day to hit it fast and hard. The coffee was smooth and did not taste burned. That tells me that it’s fresh. The pastries were fresh incredibly delicious. The service was friendly, informative, and swift. This place is definitely going to take my money over Starbucks going forward. I recommend this local Fair Oaks business as a must visit for local and out of town coffee goers looking for a new coffee spot.

A unique and special European style American cafe (I know that sounds weird but go see for yourself) that prides itself on offering locally crafted high quality ingredients and creative menu.Whether you’re looking for great coffee or tea or food, or just a place to study or work, (or watch races!), this is a must-try spot unlike anywhere else I’ve been before. One of the things I also really appreciated coming here was the candor when I asked what sandwich to order and I was told both what was most popular and what was simply the best, because they were not the same item (This is important). The breakfast sandwich is twice the size I’ve ever seen so if you’re not super hungry and have a friend with you, it’s totally shareable. And if you’re very hungry, you’ll be glad you came.Also-If you have seen Gilmore Girls or Friends you may have noticed huge coffee cups. I’m tired of seeing plastic and paper cups at cafes and especially for larger quantities. They have the big 20 oz mugs!Can’t wait to send friends here, so I thought a review was a must too. I had a fantastic experience for my first time at Fast Cat Coffee, I ordered a Caramel Latte and a Brisket grilled cheese sandwich. The coffee tasted authentic and rich, not like the over sweetened coffee you would get at Starbucks/Dutch Bros. My brisket was also amazing, great quality meat/cheese/sauce, I would definitely order it again.Inside has many great places to sit and read inside, and a lot of natural lighting from the windows. I found it to be a great spot to chill while I waited for my oil change to be completed at a nearby automotive repair shop.Lastly the customer service was 5 stars, my server Dolly was very kind to me and all the other customers who came in while I was there.

What a cute Cafe! The sign will draw you inside the Cafe.So much ambience inside! Motorcycles and hip music with vibes of chill.They have a tasty menu for drinks and a baked goods food case.I got the blackberry latte. So yum, I could hardly put it down for a break.They have indoor and outdoor seating.The employees were super friendly and made my drink with haste.Definitely will be back.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review, but I wanted to leave one here because it SOOOO deserves some appreciation. I’ve only been here twice but each time the customer service was fantastic! Everyone is happy and genuine, and they do a great job of making this shop a home style feel. As for the drinks, I’ve heard the teas are great but from my experience the coffee is amazing! There’s some solid basic drinks as well as some new ones to experiment with. And the food!!! They’ve got all kinds of grilled cheeses/sandwiches and they are delicious. I’m so glad I tried this place, it’ll be a new regular for me

First time coming to fast cat coffeeI had the blackberry coffee with white mocha! Let me say it was amazing. If you like sweet coffee with some coffee taste try out the blackberry white mocha! I also had the wake up in guanajuato grilled cheese but sub with chicken comes with a homemade salsa which is also delicious! Definitely surprised at how great the quality of coffee is and the food. Also to add customer service is great to. Very kind, and informative. Im going to come here more often especially for the coffee!

I drove several times by this local gem 💎 but never stopped by and finally did this morning. My husband and I were amazed at the delicious taste of the coffee, the breakfast sandwich and the muffins. Dolly is an amazing owner who takes great pride in her coffee shop. This was our first time here and we most definitely will be back. Thank you ❤

It was quite slow when I visited so I was expecting Customer Service to be better, it could use improvement, location and decor was nice. Mentioned “Goodday Sacramento” but didn’t get the 10% discount as mentioned on the tv segment-which isn’t a big deal but just wanted to throw it out there. Latte was a little on the sweet side but the grilled cheese sandwich was pretty good. Is it good enough for me to return though? Probably not.

Cool little coffee shop! Loved the atmosphere. I got a cream puff and a lavender coffee latte. Very interesting combination that was tasty. My bf got a chai latte and it was the best chai hes had in CA. Balance of milk and spice was perfect. Not watery tasting at all. Also he got an apple fritter which went well with the chai tea. Overall, we be coming back every when we are down in the area!

DELICIOUS grilled cheese sandwiches, 100% worth the drive down from Auburn! Hubby and I were left with happy food babies. Love the atmosphere and look even with the seating up. The hot sauce is flavorful with a good short burst of heat that wont scorch your face off but itll make your nose run. Lady behind the counter was hilarious and all smiles.

Great local coffee shop! Cool decor and great coffee! My sister and I ordered the lavender latte and blackberry latte. Lavender latte is more earthy tasting, and the blackberry latte tastes like blackberry pie! Parking was a little hard to find with the taewondo families taking all the spaces in front of the shop. Lots of places to sit and hang out though, overall great place to go!

Wonderful establishment! I chose the delightful and refreshing Orchard King - granny Smith apple slices, smoked Gouda, strawberry vinaigrette, and another cheese in grilled sourdough. Heavenly, just heavenly! My dining partner got the Brisket and Tomato Soup. She loved it! I tasted the soup and OH MY GAWD what a dance in my mouth!

I had stopped for coffee here a few times and it was good. But I saw they serve lunch. Their specialty is Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. So I stopped again for lunch a couple days ago.LOVE ITI had the pork and green apple. Simply fantastic.This place has way better grilled cheese than any other around. It’s a super cool interior with racing or a car show playing in tvs around you. Decorations are nice and the food is handed out quickly. I’ve only gotten the brisket grilled cheese but it’s a 10/10. Lemonade was good too.

I recently visited Fast Cat Coffee and had an amazing experience. I ordered their tea, which was the most delicious tea I have ever tasted! The flavors were perfectly balanced and it was clear that they use high-quality ingredients.The service at Fast Cat Coffee is truly exceptional. Hell yes. 😎I wanted somewhere to study and I love coffee. I always pass by this place when doing stuff around town so thought Id give it a shot. Also, it has cat in the name so... (Im obsessed with cats). They are also about motorcycles and cars, and grilled cheese. This place has so much to offer. The high table against the window had an outlet right underneath for my Chromebook. The dark mocha I chose was delicious; their mocha sauce is not super sugary and sweet like *other coffee places* around. The guy that made my mocha was so welcoming and explained their menu when I mentioned it was my first visit. And his personality was awesomeI did not try the grilled cheese but one day itll happen. definitely spend your money here on quality coffee versus *other coffee places.* (taken from my Yelp review).

Went here on a Friday morning - they were busy the entire 2 hours we were there with just one person holding down the entire front of house, yet the service remained super friendly without feeling they were rushing anyone.The menu selection is just amazing...SO hard to choose what to get! Guess that just means Ill have to go back to try more stuff ;)I got the pistachio mocha latte and it was perfect! The chocolate was an undertone, and the pistachio was able to shine, which is rarely ever the case! I also got the Veggie breakfast sandwich (I think it was called something like florentine garden?) and added avocado and it was delicious!!We will absolutely be back!

First time trying this establishment- I ordered an iced almond milk super leggera and the morning midtown sandwich. This place aims to please! The midtown was satisfying, from presentation- the sandwich was balanced with just the right amount of ingredients, and hits the palette with egg, cheese, bacon and spinach- very flavorful. The espresso drink was very complimentary- sweet and midly spicy- very intriguing!I will be returning. This may just be my new favorite place!

Let me talk about the brisket grilled cheese, its ridiculous..so good. Ive had the soprano as well.. so far every grilled cheese my friends or I have purchased has been exceptional. Highly recommend going to this spot. The people behind the counter are super friendly as well. The coffee here is delicious as well. The coffee and muffin were absolutely delicious. I got the Vintage 71 Mocha and a cranberry apple bran muffin. Well-priced, filling food and beverage. The barista was funny and seemed pretty happy (a fresh of breath air) and told jokes with my dad while he made drinks. He was very friendly, the atmosphere was very friendly, and I highly recommend this place.

I LOVE coffee so I was excited to see a new coffee place in the area. I had the dark mocha with some caramel and it was delicious! And I also tried the midtown morning breakfast sandwich and it was so good. My kids each had a donut which they loved but when my sandwich came they immediately wanted some too. Great place with cool art and car themed atmosphere. And as soon as I walked in the owner was immediately welcoming to my family and I and this is a huge deal these days don’t get that same kind of service always. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu and bring our friends and family!

If I died and went to heaven, the brisket grilled cheese would still be better at Fast Cat. It was the best grilled cheese I ever had. A perfect blend of tang, richness, and cheesiness-- I couldve ate multiple sandwiches if I wasnt poor. From the bbq sauce, delicious tender brisket, and wonderfully seasoned cheese... It was simple but could never get old.The blueberry grilled cheese was alright, seemed to be missing some depth of flavor with the jam being bland.I had the triple jam grilled cheese and the habanero chicken one, but that was a long time ago so I cant review them well. Wow, what a yummy place to get the best grilled cheese sandwich in town! Today I had a Tony Saprano Grilled Cheese Sandwich at Fast Cat Coffee and was impressed with the melted cheese and how the meats stayed juicy and the sour dough bread was grilled with butter leaving my grilled cheese sandwich with a nice brown grilled crunchy finish that made my grilled cheese crunch to the bite thanks to Dolly using the real stuff butter. I hope with in the year to try all of the grilled cheese sandwiches why you ask because, I own a gym membership! I really like coffee too! The pastries are great too! You can have all your grilled cheese and other grilled sandwiches made to perfection by the owner Dolly. Now off to the gym I go.

My partner and I are fans of a good mom and pop coffee shop, and this one did NOT disappoint! The co-owner who assisted us suggested the mexican mocha, and my girlfriend ordered an mint green tea. Both were prepared fresh to order and had great flavor, with no modifications needed. The customer service we received was excellent, we chatted as she prepared our beverages, and she gave us a little history on their shoppe. We will definitely be back!

Really great place for coffee and grilled cheese sandwiches. We got a tony soprano and the brisket from savory, and for my honey and strawberry grace from sweet. I think the tony sorprano was my favorite, but they were all really good. The iced mexican mocha was also delicious. Really glad I found this place and will definitely be back to try more

The BEST breakfast sandwiches AND coffee AND pastries! Everything this woman makes is made from heaven! We’ve had the carnitas sandwich every time because it’s so good! My partner and I share one and it easily fills us up and wash it down with the blackberry mocha and the coconut latte! Oh and I have to treat myself to the cream cheese scone! I purchased one great coffee, with a smooth taste and rich in flavor. Service was superb, and I tipped $2.50 just because we all could use a little help in recovering from some of our 2020s losses. Lastly, the location is a little tucked away from the street and I noticed the word coffee on the exterior wall as I drove by. So, I quickly flipped it and it was definitely worth it. My only suggestion for Fast Cat Coffee is to invest in a sidewalk sign that uses bright Orange, Pink or Yellow letters for the word Coffee...

A coffee shop I would pass by so the time but decided to actually try it. I found that this coffee shop being a 4.6 rating isnt one of the top search results in google maps for coffee.I like to base my coffee with a cinnamon roll but it seems like they offered healthier choices with pastries, the cranberry scone that I had was bland didnt really have a good taste to it. There was no other customers and almost left without my scone. Person was knowledgeable and would come back to try other coffee drinks but would be hesitant to try other pastries.Great tasting coffeeReasonable prices

Just went back to the place early mid-Tuesday morning for the first time, since it closed a couple months ago, Nice to see it re-opened~! Met Bobby, & listened to his story, & the place has only been open 10 days. Sorry to hear about the previous owners unfortunate issues, & he’ll be remembered. Bobby’s got the place up and rolling and is a great re-vamped place, & the coffee is GREAT. Seriously. I feel it’s far better than the previous house coffee. Hoping to make it by weekly, & am telling persons about it, too, including motorcyclists, as he has stylishly themed with car & motorcycle (Yes!!) paraphernalia. Would be nice to see him get a beer & wine license, & created an equally enjoyable evening atmosphere! Such a cool place!

Below is the original review I made where Ive rated them 1 star in 2021. I religiously avoided this restaurant when it came to DoorDash. Im keeping it below because we are humans and should allow room for error and grace. We are all not perfect. I had the opportunity to revisit this establishment and am blown away by Owner and her Husband Caleb. It was a great experience the second time around and I will definitely be going back. I delivered an Instacart order and Caleb offered me a drink. I felt like I was at the Doctors and he was carefully constructing a drink that not only would taste extremely great but was also HEALTHY for my body. The Owner said she has a ton of secret menu options and I cant wait. Starbucks and Peets take a back seat with Fast Cat Coffee.If I could I give negative 0. Came to pick up a door dash order. . stood there for 10 mins. No ill be right with you. One moment. Nothing. Then a non colored man walks in and is immediately assisted. Never used their service because the non colored man in front vibe was always off. Today was a confirmation. Im not even a customer. Lol! Im picking up om behalf of YOUR customer. THEN he coughed lips closed with no mask on. Ugh. I just walked away. Its 2021 its covid and they do not pass the vibe check.

Went in for a monday brunch with the fam. This was a first time in for me, as well as my party. The food took a bit of time on a non busy day, but I related that to a slight issue with the register that delayed our purchase. I love the fact that you can pick your cheeses and substitute items on their signature sandwich, as I dont eat meat and a lot of their menu items had meat. The sandwiches themselves were very good, piping hot and slightly greasy due to the natural nature of grilled cheese. Everything had a nice flavour, and the coffee was also very good. I couldnt help but feel a pang of sadness though, walking around in the skeleton of my once favourite coffee shop: Boulevard. This place, to me, lacked the quirky charm and coziness the boulevard once had. I didnt really feel welcome here, it was so... quiet. Static. It would be a nice place to eat a meal and do some studying, but not the kind of place Id relax or chat with the baristas.All and all a nice warm meal. Not exemplary food or service, but good enough to enjoy and write a review about.

Tried the Tony Soprano and the brisket sandwich with the tomato soup. I liked the sandwiches but I didnt find they set themselves apart enough to travel 30 minutes to get. Their tomato soup on the other hand was the best Ive ever had. If they had more soup with that flavor I think I would drive there more often for sure.
