Fat Wongs Chinese Food To Go in Modesto

The gentleman who attended us was very friendly and helpful. I asked questions since this was my first time here .The food was delicious. This is mainly a to go place, but there is some seating. I got a bit of everything, and I was not disappointed. My favorite was the fried chicken Wings. If you are in the area, you have to come by and try it yourself.They had people coming and out, also lots of to go food orders. You can tell that this is a great little food gem, a perfect spot for a quick meal . I will definitely be back

#8 Sweet & Sour Chicken with Pork Fried Rice & Pork Chow Mien super delicious plus super friendly workers

The food was hot but not great. The chicken and rice were coated with too much sauce and not cooked well. Chickened seemed to be baked or boiled, not grilled like I expected for Teriyaki chicken. If it was grilled then the sauce must have ruined it. The cabbage smelled very bad and doesnt seem fresh... I ordered from this place because it had bad reviews and I thought those people were being unfair, now that I tried food from here I can confirm that this is not good food. I ordered the most simple thing possible (teriyaki) and it was bad. Two stars because it was hot.

This place was great. Loved the food and big portion. I ordered the orange chicken, pork fried rice, pork chow mein and it was perfect. I have found my new favorite Chinese food place in Modesto

Great Lo Mein (Chow Mein) and BBQ Pork. Definitely recommend this place.

This place was soooo good. I have been looking for a good Chinese place by my house. And glad we gave this one a shot.. they were super busy lots of phone orders and walk ins. Huge portions fresh food. We will be back

First time ordering from Fat Wongs, orange chicken and shrimp fried rice was amazing!! The lady on the phone was super friendly! My husband met the delivery driver outside and he had a great personality and was full of humor. Will definitely be ordering from them again! Thanks for the great experience.

Amazing portions and great food. You definitely get what you pay for unlike other spots in town! They don’t skimp at all! Food for a couple days for sure!

After being a loyal customer for over 20 years the food I got tonight was bad. Did mr wong quit because this food tastes like some crack head off riverside drive made this behind stop and save. The foil chicken was bland and not the normal. Chow mein is now lo mein. And dont get me started on the ketchupy sweet n sour pork. If i could give this place zero stars i would. Go to lucky bamboo if youre in the east side wanting chinese food. Its sad because this establishment used to be an easy 5 stars.

My family has enjoyed Fat Wongs restaurant since they opened. We prefer their Chinese food over any in Modesto the best. Theyre so kind and polite to all their customers. Thank you
