Favorite Indian Restaurant in Hayward

Came here for the Friday night buffet. Food quality for a buffet wasnt bad although price was a bit high in my opinion. Id probably try regular entrees next time instead of the buffet.The inside of the restaurant is very modern and clean. Theyve done a nice job to make it look nice.Service was also excellent. Recommended.

I should have read the reviews before going here, tried their $25 buffet - nothing was better except their ice cream. If you have ever liked eating tandoori chicken, never try it here. They have the worst of its kind. Tandoori Chicken had a different odor and lots of red color. We wasted $50 here in Buffet, don’t want anyone else to suffer the same. I’ll give it to them that they look very clean from outside, they have maintained it well but the quality and taste of food they offer is bad. Not recommended.

The food was good(Take-out). We had Vegetable biryani & Samosa. However, we found a piece of PLASTIC as shown in picture while eating. This is not acceptable and a health hazard. Not ordering again!

Walked in and wanted to order off the menu but no one wanted to help with that so I just got the buffet. The paneer here is not paneer but was tofu. The quality of the food is not worth the price of the buffet there are better options available.

The food was very good, and not so spicy that you dont taste it. It was just right. We love this place and will come back.

Yes! We have been coming here for more than 10 years now. I found this place when I was going to school at Cal State Hayward, aka Cal State East Bay!Prior to the pandemic, we always come here for their awesome lunch buffet, which they dont have anymore.. except Friday/Saturday dinner buffet (I think).Generous portions,delicious food and friendly service is all I need.

One starch, one non-starchy vegetable, one protein on a plate makes balanced meal. If I’m eating alone at an Asian restaurant and I want to have a balanced meal I have to piecemeal $40 dollars worth of food together for one person. This has kept me from choosing Asian restaurants for lunch (which is when I eat out the most). I used to love this place because the buffet fixed that. They got rid of their buffet. I’m the only one in my family who likes Indian food so I never order it for dinner. Will Asian restaurants ever catch up to the fact that family style is a limiting business model?

Our first time was on a Friday night and it happened to be their buffet night. My wife and I had been looking for a good Indian buffet nearby and we ran into this place on a whim. We are glad that we did because the food, a good variety of dishes, and everything was very tasty. A good way to try different selection of foods.Plus, they have dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday nights.Highly recommended restaurant.

Came at 910 when their hours say open till 10. Server offered us buffet and we accepted then they closed the buffet less than 5 minutes later. $25 for one plate which we couldnt even enjoy because there were two small cockroaches walking around the floor right by the buffet. Had heard this place was good but wouldnt recommend and wont be back.

All of the dishes, except for the Tandoori Chicken was simply tasteless and lacked the colorful flavors of India.The service was slow and poor as well. I looked forward to eating here but was disappointed and wont be back.
