Unassuming, tastey, and friendly people/atmosphere. Great place for lunch or takeout for a light dinner and perfect for catering a casual event. Thank you for tje tastey food and awesome service. ❤️

This was always the place to go for Chinese chicken salad when it was a hole-in-the-wall-- the salad is as good: layered flavors of crispy romaine, slivered almonds, the sesame dressing and wonton strips. Surprise is that the chicken (wings and thighs) are superb. Owner is on premise almost all the time so the service is maintained. I had a problem with a missing item, and it was taken care of immediately! Ignore the Persian Square chaos plus a Mexican hole- in- the- wall overflowing with people surrounding the modern Feast double store front restaurant.

I have been going to FFTE since it opened, decades ago.Teriyaki chicken a favorite and a personal comfort food. Sesame wings are yummy. Chinese chicken salad is also a favorite.The owners are just plain nice. As you would expect, so is the staff.

Today, I ordered and received a chinese chicken salad. It started out delicious, until I realized I had hair in my mouth. It took a minute to get the hair out. Though concerned I continued to eat and found more hair in my salad. Now thoroughly disgusted, I couldnt finish the salad. Maybe hairnets should be worn while preparing food. My first and last experience at this restaurant. Too bad the salad was good.

Ive been going to this place for almost 30 years. Very nice people and the best Chinese chicken salad anywhere. I just picked up from them today and I was not disappointed. The food here is very good. In fact it sets the standard for Chinese Chicken Salad - as thats their specialty! Generous portion (for the large salad). They also have other Asian food like drummettes or wings (fried) either with a sesame glaze or wings in a sweet Sriracha sauce, as well as other Chinese-American type dishes. The salad dressing is so popular they bottle it and sell it at retail stores like supermarkets and Costco. Highly recommend!

Their Sesame Wings are SO good. Fried perfectly. Very crispy. The skin has soooo much flavor. And when you bite into it, the meat is steaming and yet so moist! Its a MUST try here.They are also known for their dressing. I think their salad is okay... but their dressing is so good. You can get it at Costco though!

Great Asian inspired food. Always fresh. Always consistent. Light on sauces. Healthy dishes. Very casual. You order your own food a computer at the counter. You can customize your selection. You pay for it through the computer. And a server brings it to your table. Quick service and reasonable prices.

This place is another long-standing gem on Westwood Blvd. It gets packed during lunch, but the service is usually fast despite the lines. They offer a paid parking lot, or you can park around the corner if no curbside spots are available. Inside, to the left of the entry way, they offer a kiosk where you can order and pay if you want to skip the line. The Chinese chicken salad and chicken teriyaki were great. The teriyaki was like wok style. All white meat covered in a tasty sauce, and came with rice and broccoli that was super fresh.The salad was simple, with shredded chicken breast, chopped romaine hearts, and some of the best salad dressing ever! The food was delicious, excellent service and staff, and the place appeared very clean. Looking forward to my next visit.

Personally, this is my favorite chinese chicken salad place because it doesnt have cilantro, it tastes delicious and fresh every time and the sesame dressing is perfect I love all the ingredients: the almonds, green onion, wonton crisps... love it all. Sometimes I wish it had some mandarin oranges but meh nobody is perfect :PThe sesame wings are also good when fresh.More of a casual lunch or dinner place and a lot of people order out here. The employees are always so friendly and I never feel rushed to leave. Find meter parking on Westwood or look one block west and park for free in the residential area for 2 hours :)

Sesame chicken is bomb! Salad honedtly is so plain and basic, but they have the dankest dressing ever! One of the best if not, best salad dressing ever. Been coming here since I was an little kid, grew up around the corner.

I love this place! Our office took us for lunches last fall- I forgot to yelp it!Staff are super- the bobas are delicious. My favorite meals are the Chinese Chicken Salad, the Chinese Chicken Salad and the Chinese Chicken Salad.Whenever my hunger glands are itching, (do glands itch?) and I am near Westwood: I think of Feast from the East and about 5 other local places.I get a Boba because I can, and savor the flavor all the way through my afternoon at the office.Check it out for it is a great place to go.

The food is overpriced, bland, and of poor quality. I have tried their orange chicken, signature dish (a simple salad), chicken potstickers, and wings. The orange chicken had a breaded but soft coating, the salad is simple romain lettuce with shredded chicken and an oily dressing, and the wings flavor was lackluster. The potstickers were bland and came with a sauce that simply has too much sugar. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Feast From the East.

This review is almost 1 year late but I still had to post. My husband and I were driving the coast this past summer and we spent a few days in San Fran seeing the sights and catching up with some amazing friends. It happened to be our 1 year wedding anniversary and we were looking for somewhere delicious and cozy to go. The House fit that description and more. It was so long ago that I cant even remember what we ate (and looking at the menu currently is making my mouth water so I have to stop). Heres what I remember- appetizers were AMAZING, entrees were even better and we just had to have dessert. Go here. You wont be disappointed.

Horrible service. Today December 27, 2019 we go to order. The VERY unfriendly person at the register says at 11:35 am. Anything hot is taking 25 minutes. Now this is a FAST food Chinese joint and not a Michelin restaurant. I say why so long she says I have larger orders in front of you.I am in sales which is customer service. I heard YOU ARE A WALK IN AND DONT MATTER!!Why not close your doors until you can serve a lowly walk-in like me?
