This is our favorite fen rice noodle place in the Bay Area. Both soup and ingredients are very fresh and tasty, you don’t taste the artificial flavors, which appreciate the authenticity.

Omg these are the most authentic Guilin rice noodles ever! Even better then Guilin noodles in Guilin! Toppings are so tasty and so bountiful. The beef brisket was so soft. The five layered pork was crispy and chewy. The broth was rich with spice and flavour. I’ll be back!

Their rice noodle is so addictive! We come here at least once a month. Both types of rice noodles are great depending one everyone’s preference. We typically order pork.

The Laoyou soup was flavorful, with a deep fermented black bean flavor. The beef tripe picked up the flavor wellPickled cabbage noodle soup was a lot milder. Adding the house made chili oil sauce made it better. It wasnt bad, but its not as good as the pickled vegetable soup at NoodleosophyThe Guilin rice noodles seemed to be the most popular thing, there were a lot of take out ordersSoy milk was good and refreshingService was good, tables were clean, bathrooms are being remodeled

Probably the most authentic Guilin noodle Ive had in the bay. So happy that I found this place, because the noodle remindse of home. 😋 The dry Guilin noodle with crispy pork and beef brisket is a must try.

Really great place with the nicest staff! I wasnt familiar with Guilin cuisine at all prior and the owner has been so nice explaining everything. I go with the dry noodle mix with marinated beef & crispy pork. SO good. If you like it spicy, be sure to ask for their homemade spice mix rather than a typical hot oil - amazing flavor and spice level.Be sure to get the plum drink as well! One of my favorite drinks at a restaurant Ive ever had!Been here 4 times in the last month :) cannot recommend it enough

I ordered 老友粉 delivery the other day....... AwwwwwthenTIC my friends!! I would come back and dine in to try luosi noodle and laoyou noodle again. I ordered the flat noodle delivery, the rice noodle came in soggy, but still tasted very good.

The quality and flavor of the Guilin noodle is far from the ones in China. Less authentic! Here, the broth is just salty. That’s not how Guilin noodle tasted in China. The noodle is served in a paper bowl. The toppling is not authentic either. The service is not great, you don’t see them welcome you, you scan the QR code on the table to see the menu, and then pay at the counter by yourself. Basically, no one serves you till this point. Quite disappointing!

Get the guilin noodle again, delicious. Laoyao noodle was very sour, Good if you like that kind of sour. Snow dessert pastry to go was really good. Really nice and friendly service. For one of my dishes they put in the wrong noodle. Round noodle instead of flat noodle. They offered to redo the dish, I asked them just to give me some flat noodles which they did. Will come back

Guilin style is not as well known to most Americans as Mandarin or Szechuan or Shanghai styles for example, but it is well regarded in China. They are best known probably for rice noodles and are well worth a try. This is a very friendly and affordable place to give this style of Chinese food a taste.

The food is just so so and that is not the worst part. I suspected someone in this place stole peoples’ credit card information. Because after I used it in this restaurant, my bank told me my credit card was used in a Pizza Hut where I never went. I almost never used that card and this restaurant was the last transaction.

A bowl of Beef Laoyou Fried Noodles costs 16.99, totaling 21.42 knives plus tax and tip. It tastes terrible, the quantity is very small, there are only two pieces of meat, really just two pieces, the noodles are not stir-fried, and the noodles are rotten. I cant afford it. The most important thing is the acid. I have never eaten anything so sour in my life. I poured half a bottle of white vinegar into it and it was so acid. I couldnt bear it. In line with the principle of not wasting, I added two bowls of white soup and turned it into soup powder. After swallowing, the taste is really hard to describe. I asked why it was so sour, and they explained that the powder was sour and spicy. What I asked was not why it was sour, but why it was so sour. I actually have a strong taste, and I love hot and sour rice noodles and hot and sour soup, but I can’t stand the sourness of this half-bottle of vinegar. I definitely give it a bad review! The price is expensive, the quantity is small, the taste is poor, and the service...is average at first, but when there is a problem, I dont know how to solve it immediately and the rambling explanations can only be bad! ! ! Everyone, avoid this place

I ordered a large bowl and a small bowl, but they were all the same size, without any difference.The rice noodles served in the hall were soaked in paper bowls in advance. They stuck to the paper bowls and took a long time to come off. .The yuba is a small portion for 5 dollars and the brine is very light. .
