I have been trying this place many times. All the drinks are consistent always. This time I have Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with 50% sugar which was perfect for me. Plenty of seating and parking lots available. Quick and friendly cashier!

Wonderful to find a good tastey boba tea place in Newark neighborhood! The creme brulee was a unique combo with boba pearls mixed with a creamy foam tea and ice. The space looks clean and cool to hang out in with a huge cute bear to do a selfie 🤳 with. Service was quick and easy. Next visit maybe a tempting flavored cheesecake 😜!

Absolutely delicious and rich tasting boba drinks available. We ordered crème brûlée one (dirty boba), taro drink and traditional. Multiple kinds of boba types available. They offer a lot of varieties. Liked the ambiance of this place. Friendly staff, clean space and quick service. Love the teddy that guards a seat in there. Plenty of parking available and quite accessible. Will definitely come again!

We ordered a Dirty boba ( brown sugar, boba, milk, milk foam top and 25% sweetness) and a classic oolong milk tea with at 25% sweetness. The boba in the dirty boba was sweet ( make sure you stir or shake your drink first). The classic oolong you can’t really taste the tea but can taste more of the milk/cream. The boba was really good with just the right amount of firmness and chewy. Overall enjoyable drinks.

Hands down one of the best boba I had in long time! I tried their Dirty Boba today and it was out of the world. They have caffeinated and non caffeinated option for the boba tea. The sweetness level was perfect! Also the boba shop is super cute! The ambiance is pretty chill. Definitely coming back to try other flavors next time!

Boba is always a good idea! I dropped by there on Tuesday around 2pm and was served immediately. Ive been to the old location (Thornton) before and I actually like their boba - only it was a teeny bit far from my usual errand route. This location is perfect (the same complex as 99 Ranch & near Sprouts & Safeway) so I bet that Ill be going there regularly.I ordered taro milk tea (25% sugar & less ice) with crystal boba and sea salt pearl cake. The taro milk tea was nice & super creamy - I like my boba just a tad of sweetness so 25% sugar is perfect. The crystal boba was good! Theyre not as chewy as regular boba but theyre sweet & have crunch to it. I remembered that I love their cake. The sponge cake itself was delicious & soft but the foam was a bit too salty. The boba (pearl) were good and still chewy when I ate it at home. I probably will choose different cake flavor next time.

4.5 stars! You cant go wrong with the drinks here. Its usually pretty consistent and good quality!My drink recommendations:+ Mango Au Lait (great no caffeine option!)+ Bursting Dragonfruit (refreshing, but lots of seeds)+ Jasmine Apple Green Tea (tangy + good tea flavor!)The staff are kind and friendly. We requested if they could play K-Pop on the TVs and they gladly did! This is a nice, casual hangout spot with lots of tables inside to sit. They have a self-service kiosk, but you are welcome to ask the staff any questions.

Got a standard oolong milk tea with cheese foam at 25% sweetness. Still couldnt really taste the tea flavor and it was quite sugary so cant imagine what other sweetness levels are like. I wanted to try their Dirty Boba but the wait would have been too long. So, I ordered a Taro Breeze instead. The cashier saw me waiting for my order and remembered I wanted the Dirty Boba so he added it to the order for free. Wow, Im amazed at the customer service. Both drinks taste great. The place is neat and clean. I love it. Will definitely come back again.

Came here on a whim for my first time as it was just down the street from a wedding I attended. I didn’t expect anything spectacular, but oh boy was I wrong!I ordered a dirty milk tea with boba for me and just a regular milk tea for another. I have been a fan of dirty milk tea in general for months now, but their version blew me away!!It had this really really cream froth on top, and on top of that was this caramelized brittle, broken up in pieces, similar to the top of a creme brûlée!! I was like what is this heavenly crunchy goodness on top?!! WOW. WOW. WOW.Whenever I come back to the Bay Area I’ll have to visit and revisit this place (is it bad to come twice in one day?!) just for this drink?! Oh man how I wish they had this franchise in Utah! That’s one of the great things about the Bay Area - you get the best of the best authentic food variety.

Cake series are better than beverages. I love matcha, must try item is matcha lover, the cake is so soft and the matcha sauce is very smooth. Beverage recommend milk form and taro mess, light sweet, but not rich flavor.

This milk tea shop surprised me, and is probably one of the best in the Bay Area. I ordered dirty boba with less sugar - it has a strong tea flavor which I really like. The other drink kiwi green tea is also very good, and has real fruit in it. 5 star.

Feng Cha is one of the best places to get your tea & boba fix! Everything is fresh and there are so many things to choose from. Appreciate their good service. My favorites so far are the Kiwi-Basil Green Tea, Strawberry Overload, and the Dirty Boba. You also cant pass up on their dessert cakes because they taste as good as they look! Try the Strawberry Princess or the Matcha Love and you wont be disappointed.

Came here opening weekend for the milk foam cake promo. Matcha love cake was amazing: light and fluffy and not too sweet. Strawberry overload was delicious and fresh, I finished it in minutes! Their dirty boba is delish! I tried the salted caramel boba cake, and its good. Wish they use cotton cheese cake instead of a regular sponge cake though. Too bad the durian milk foam tea has a very light taste, almost no flavor. They have a quite spacious seating area, and overall the place is clean.

Fanciest boba place in Newark/Ardenwood area. Great selection of fruit and milk based teas. Ive had their Thai milk tea with boba and grass jelly, and it was straight up the best teas Ive had in a while. Definitely going to be back to try their other teas. The cashier was extremely friendly and made a lot of suggestions based on my liking.

First time here, they are still in their soft open, but it’s great! I got the Strawberry Overload fruit tea, and it’s lovely. You can choose sweetness and ice levels. I’m intrigued by a lot of their choices, and they also have little cakes that look delicious. They have a rewards program through Fivestars, and you can earn free drinks or cakes. The staff was very nice as well.

New place that opened in January 2019. Good, fresh tea. They offer some unique fruit teas as well. I haven’t tried those specialty fruit teas yet, but I’ll come back next time for them. I got the peach oolong tea with boba and coconut jelly. Not bad! Taste was standard for most tea shops. It could probably use a higher tea to water ratio though.Space was clean, trendy, warm and welcoming. Right side of the shop is more for the tea shop and left side for the food shop.Service was friendly.

Called at 8:45pm on Sunday to place order. They close at 10. Guy said wont take order over phone. Alright. So we went there. No calamari, no almond milk. Placed 2 food and 2 drinks. Food was done in 10 mins, Boba took forever. Got our to go order, came home to no Boba in Boba tea. New teahouse in the Fremont-Newark areaA bit out of the way compared to most teaspots, in the back of Newark near the 84 bridge.The place is clean and very spacious. Oddly enough, theres a wok kitchen inside so if you happen to want fried rice or noodles with your boba, its there.The space seems to be separated such that the left side is for people ordering food while the right side looks more like a drink shop.The standard menu includes a good variety of milk tea (they have tie guan yin and osmanthus oolong), and they go through the customization and order very thoroughly so there shouldnt be any issues with ordering. Other than that, they have different panna cotta desserts if you want to couple your sugar with more sugar.For now, the boba is fine for what it is. I cant say theres anything particularly standing out, but if youre in the area, its not a bad choice. Will come back to try the food.

On the menu, next to Classic boba milk tea says (w/ choice of tea) so I ordered a dark roasted black milk tea. Im not sure if the cashier heard wrong or if the receipt just doesnt say what tea you order with the milk tea, but it just said classica milk tea. I get the drink and the sticker says classic milk tea. The drink was super bland, would not go back for the milk tea.On the other hand, I loved the Tiramisu Treasure. The oreo dessert cake is wonderful, its so incredibly soft. I love the sour cream(or sweet cream cheese? Not sure) and oreo icing on top. Its melty and creamy with a cookie crunch. To me its the perfect cake, not too sweet. My husband did not like the icing because of that sour note but I think thats just a preference thing.

So my two teenager kids insisted on trying a new hip expensive desserts place in Newark. This place used to be King fast food many years ago, sitting right next to the famous coffee shop Starbucks. Regardless, the kids went in with mommy while I went next door for real food, quesadilla LOL for $4. My son ate most of it.Feng Cha is so crowded, it must be good, the place is clean and there quite a few tables to sit.My daughter got some kind of cakes and they both got their drinks, I didn’t even dare to ask how much, but what’s matter if the kids are happy, right? Anyhow, mommy was paying for it while I went shopping next door for real food. I’m not crazy about spending a Big Mac combo meal price for a drink which they all look the same regardless on which place you go.Anyhow, not sure the kids would move to a new place soon. There are tons of these popping up all over the area.

I am not a fan of milk tea boba but I absolutely love fruit tea and I don’t miss a chance to get one. My husband on the other hand is crazy about Milk tea, this place has the best milk tea boba - dirty boba with the white option (not the black tea one). It is just amazing.I have also tried theirStrawberry overload, dragonfruit, green apple, citrus, kiwi basil, summer melon, my fav is the jasmine green apple which really brings out the subtle apple flavor and taste lovely even with 20% sugar. All the other flavors are crazy awesome as well and some of them come with a bunch of toppings like the kiwi basil which has kiwi 🥝 pieces and basil seeds.The strawberry and dragonfruit are very berry-ish and a little more on the sweeter end, the summer melon has the perfect balance of crunch from the melon bits and sweetness from the tea.I would definitely recommend this place.

Staff were very kind and friendly. My drink (pure lychee oolong tea with lychee jelly) was made with milk foam the first time and they very quickly replaced it after I realized the mistake. The music when I came in was very loud, but after I asked they turned it down a bit so I was able to study. This location is very busy so expect a bit of a wait before getting your drink. Overall recommend for the good vibes, tasty drinks, and great service 😊

The cakes and drinks are delicious, but I didnt like how the staff doesnt call your order number when its ready for pick-up. It feels like this was done on purpose because the group who came before us was called. However, when it was our turn, they didnt call out our number and called every one after us. Our order was just sitting on the counter the whole time and it was only until we asked about it, thats when they remembered to call our number. We wont come back just because it seems like they did this on purpose.

They used to be the one along Thornton Rd (almost close to the Dumbarton Bridge). Guess they moved here as new location.We love their soft cream cake with boba. So much so we got 2 in one go. Their drinks are made to order so it can be a while, especially if there is a significant line ahead. Otherwise, the flow is pretty solid and quick. I do wish they have more expanded fruit-based drinks though.

Was excited because they have great reviews and high stars. Ive ordered a taro smoothie it was okay. Still cant beat boba galaxy in milpitas. Cakes was okay too not that special probably Im from Japan? But good for someone whos not used to have this kind of cakes! Their staff works very slow... so many customers were waiting. Ordered and wanted it less sweet, and spoke to the employee about wanting it less sweet but it was not an option on the kiosk. Good, genuine tea. The cakes are yummy. The brown sugar really pops in the brown sugar milk drinks, so consider carefully if youre not a fan of straight brown sugar. Popular place, so there will be a hefty line during impacted hours, as well as limited seating. The staff is wonderful, accommodating and friendly. They also work very quickly, so the line isnt too much of a problem. More parking in the back, by Subway.

I must be honest, I have never visited the actual location, since I only discovered this place after pandemic started, so my review will be solely based on the food.They serve Taiwanese snacks like bubble tea, or any kind of drinks with bubble actually. My favorite is the dirty boba which is milk, brown sugar, and boba. I try to lessen the sugar because its already sweet enough. I also got a chance to try their snacks as well, and overall theyre pretty good. Their basil popcorn chicken is pretty good. Although I feel it might be better consumed right after theyre finished being fried, so I definitely will try to swing by this place once were able to dine in again.

Before knowing about this place, I used to go to another milk tea place in Fremont. But, right around the time that other place changed menu and their drink quality started to decline, I found out about this place from Yelp and now I always come here for milk tea. The tea flavors are distinct and aromatic, the milk foam is one of the best I have had, and the sugar level is not too sweet. The quality was consistent from one visit to the next, except that one time they forgot to put sugar in my drink, but when I came back to complaint, they quickly made me another drink. The owner or manager is pretty nice and attentive. Every time he saw me, he asked me if everything is good with my drinks. I tried most of their milk teas and would highly recommend.

Whenever I’m in Newark, I always go to Feng Cha! I love this place so much, and it’s one of my favorite boba places. Great service, homey and modern atmosphere with cute decoration, and absolutely stellar tea! The boba is the perfect texture, just the right amount of chewy and soft. And the tea is an amazing quality, you can just taste it. Highly recommended! I hope a location closer to San Jose opens so I can visit Feng Cha more often.

Have to check this place out because of their Dirty Boba. Place is clean and inviting. Great customer service. I like their cakes which are salted cake with boba topping and tiramisu. The tiramisu is one of the best I ever had. Of course have to get the famous dirty boba and it did not disappoint. Its cremy and the burnt sugar on top added some unique flavors. They also just started selling food. Happy hour from 2:30 pm - 5 pm. Parking is available behind the building. Location is easy to find.

We had the matcha cake, Ceylon black tea with tiramisu milk foam, and cherry oolong with tiramisu milk foam. With the milk foam and large size the drinks were only $5 each! And they were excellent quality, not too sweet. Ive never had cherry oolong before and it was delicious, esp with the tiramisu milk foam it was sort of like a chocolate cherry flavored tea!!All my friends say the dirty boba is hella good too but I didnt try this time. Well be back tho for sure to try again another time....

I was gave a wrong drink. Took some time to explain to the cashiers as there is no customer’s name on the drink tag. One of the confused cashier said: “I did not give the drink to you. (Yes, I was gave the drink by another cashier) You took the drink. Whatever you touch, you can keep it but I will give you the right one.”OK. The closest place the does the brown sugar boba drink the right way, they called it the Dirty Boba. $5 for regular and $6 for a large( yes, they start offering the Large recently). They make a really good Ginger Milk drink, give that a try sometime.

Stopped here for a quick bite while on a bicycle ride with my wife. I was the only customer inside and I ordered 2 orders of egg rolls. Over the next 20 minutes several customers walked in and ordered from the front, waited, received their orders and left. I even saw my neighbor come in and order and leave before me. I asked why it was taking so long and was told it would just be another few minutes...25 MORE minutes later and several more customers with fulfilled orders later I went to ask for a refund and they ignored me for 5 more minutes and whispered to each other while pointing at me. I was completely appalled. Finally, another customer walked in and when the staff went to help them, I stepped in front and politely asked for my money back. They did give me a refund, but did not seem to care 1 little bit that they just iwasted 45 minutes of my time. Honestly, it felt like it was intentional and I dont understand why you would treat a polite, well dressed, and paying customer who came in with a positive attitude like theyre worthless unless it was for some other reason (passive racism?) I emailed the owner after this incident and explained in detail what had happened to which I received no reply. It doesnt matter if they have the best drinks in the world, a business who treats people the way this one treated me wont last long.

Got the four seasons spring tea (a type of oolong) with the durian milk foam and basil seeds. Loved everything, perfect weetness and tea strength. The durian foam was so good, tasted like the durian was freshly harvested.I was with other friends and they did mention that the boba though was too hard and had too much bite. Also had a weird fruity flavor to it. But we all agreed the teas were on point.

Feng Cha is one of the newest cafes that just opened in Newark; there seems to be quick a bit of new openings lately, which is exciting. They have a variety of refreshing fruit teas and milk teas. I like their Dirty Boba (brown sugar milk with boba) -- theres no tea in this drink; its brown sugar, boba, and milk. They brulee the top just like in Hong Kong. Also delicious are their sponge cakes topped with milk foam. The sea salt boba and matches ones are both good.

The music here is loud with a hip vibe and clean look. Not the best sit to chill and chat or sit and read. The tea more than compensates for it.Feng Cha respects the tea by carefully brewing each batch. They will notify you when a new batch is needed and the wait time. It took five minutes to craft our drink, an appropriate extraction time with prep. The taste comes through in a finely balanced drink of tea and milk/foam. Their tie Guan yin rivals that of TP tea in Cupertino. A gem in Fremont.
