Restaurant was difficult to find. It is located in a hidden strip mall located behind a bar and also shares the parking lot with the car wash next door. Ferraris is small with seating for approx 20-30 people. Our party of four enjoyed the fresh bread with tomato bruchetta and we brought own bottle of wine since there is no corkage fee. We really enjoyed their pizza but felt the meatball sandwich and spaghetti were good but not outstanding.
My husband and I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious. They offer nice portions that are quite affordable. Can get a little busy but we usually go around 7p to miss the crowds or we get our food to go.
This place is amazing. Small, family-run business which was recently sold but kept the same great old-fashioned food quality. Some of the staff has been there for years. Very traditional food typical of New York-style Italian cuisine. Portions are huge. Our party had baked penne, chicken parmigiana, spaghetti putanesca, and one other dish which I cant remember. Sauces were rich and, as mentioned above, portions were big. Recommend highly.
Been chasing this italian-born chef at all of his locations from Long Beach on Palo Verde to Compton to now back on Carson and the food is always been amazing. Dont miss the to-die-for Italian tomato salad and the homemade bread which is to die for. Well track this guy down until he retires which is going to be soon.
Ive been a customer of Ferraros for several years. It was sold several months ago. We went for dinner there last night and the meal was disappointing. The seasonings seem to have changed the quality seems to have changed. Where Joe the prior owner with a pain his vegetables from one or more of our local farmers markets. His famous tomato salad was always made with the right because the freshest local tomatoes. The tomato salad last night was under seasons and tasted like it was made with under ripe tomatoes from a local wholesaler.

Worst food ever. Pizza crust was cardboard. Not to mention toppings were awful. Most likely will throw out .Caprice appetzer was not edible. Threw it out. Gnocchi was to come with meat sauce. No meat. Side salad was wilted. Tomato salad was not anything to write about. Most horrible meal ever. Throwing most of it out.
I have been a customer for 20 plus years ever since Joe opened his very first restaurant in Long Beach. Growing up in Boston my neighbors were all Italians. I grew up eating great italian food.Ferraros food, by far, is the best I have ever eaten.
This place is the best around. The fresh bakes warm bread along with the Italian salad soup to dip the bread in is delicious. My recommendation would have to the Homemade Gnocchi with the Vodka Sause(Orange). Hands down the bestLoved this place and will keep coming back.
The food was amazing. I wish I can give you more information but it was our first time there and we live out of town and was her just visiting. But I would definitely come back to this place to eat it is really good Italian authentic food
I am only reviewing dessert. The Tiramisu is excellent. They used to have all lands of Italian delights that could be ordered to go right from the counter. they stopped doing that in Fall 2014. Now they just have Tiramisu to go and it tastes so good. I learned from the hostess that the restaurant is remodeling in order to include a full bakery case with all tends of yummy deserts to go . She said that should be debuting in Fall 2015.
It was fine, people running were pleasant. But the food was overpriced for being of pretty mediocre quality. I could see someone being a big fan of the place if that level of food appealed to them, since the staff was very welcoming. But if a place isnt getting me food on the fly or making food better than I can, whats the point of going out to eat?
Food was amazingly balanced in flavors. Service was on point and felt like a valued customer. I will definitely come back to try other dishes.
Had lunch there today and everything was delicious! Great lunch menu includes soup or salad with fresh hot bread and butter. We all had something different so we could try new things

If I could give a .25 review I would. They actually answered the phone however rude and no parsley to customize a margarita pizza...Oh and no delivery. Move on folks.

2020-08-23 03:30:32We were looking for a pasta place near long beach that has outdoor seating and authentic cream pasta. Found this place and tried out even though the weather was over 90 degrees. Thankfully they had tent so it wasn’t that bad. They were serving only dinner menus on weekend, so we ordered Fettucine Veneziana (cream based sauce) and Spaghetti Putanesca (tomato based sauce). All the entrees come with complimentary soup or salad which is great. The entrees were huge!! Everything tasted so good too. You should try dipping complimentary bread in the cream sauce. Soooo good. 😋😋

2019-10-05 21:21:48We were here for lunch today. Fabulous food, everything is homemade and delicious! We had Spaghetti and Meatballs, salad and soup, bread is so GOOD! You have to search for it, no sign yet. Near the corner of Carson and Studebaker. Just west of the Donut shop. Near the new car Wash. Its small (16 seats) so call ahead on busy nights. No beer or wine yet, BYOB, $10. Closed on Monday. We missed this restaurant since it closed several years ago, so glad it’s back!!!

They are fast at serving food and are always there to talk about there favorite dish and what is good there. I 100% recommended visiting for authentic Italian food. Try it today! 2020-09-26 12:39:05Ferraros was our favorite Italian restaurant and ate there for years. Joe even catered our wedding party. Joe moved and so did we and we missed how good the food was. Yesterday while pulling into a car wash I saw a sign Ferraros Ristorante and wondered could it be. I parked, walked in and theres Joe cooking away. We came back at dinner time and the food and service was as good as ever. Glad I got my car washed and rediscovered Ferraros. Needless to say we will be there regularly

2019-11-30 04:19:18First time ordering from here based on positive reviews. I ordered for pick up and when I got there they told me they forgot to give the pizza ticket to the pizza guy. So I had to wait longer than usual. Then management came out and apologized for my food taking so long and offered two canolis. That goes a long way . The food was very good.

2019-12-11 22:52:28I arrived before the weekend dinner crowd, which was nice, or so I thought. The dining area is VERY small with 6 or 7 tables, 2 to seat 2 people,(very tight), some seating 4 and a couple to seat 6. There is NO extra room in the restaurant which was uncomfortable at times, especially when being confronted with the servers backside straight In your face when serving the table next to you.The waiter was very impatient with me pressuring me to decide & place my order within a minute or two of sitting down. This was my first time here and I was ordering dinner for my mom, to go & mine to eat there.I didnt receive service that could be considered even standard. I didnt have any of the options or specials told to me and when I hadnt decided within the first 3 minutes of sitting down, I was left waiting more than 20 minutes before he took my order after waiting on the parties that trickled in after I was seated. I noticed he shared with all the other tables various special dishes for the evening. I really wish I had known of those options as I would have ordered the house made fettuccini & probably would have enjoyed the meal more.My moms dish was very ample, manicotti, (cheese stuffed) with marinara sauce & minestroni soup. She enjoyed her food with the exception of some few odd vegetables in the minestroni and the overall lack of the taste of traditional spices in the sauce, such as basil, oregano and garlic. I also noticed the sauce being overly bland, lacking the spices that make that traditional italian flavor so delicious.My lasagna was swimming in sauce but the noodles were so al dente that I could not use my fork to get a bite without all the layers (6 at least) sliding every which way, splashing sauce over the edge. I resorted to cutting each piece with my knife.By the time I left there were approximately 15 people waiting for tables.
