Location: Great, Parking: Where you can find it, Service: Nice, Live music: yes (prior to show) Restaurant: yes (do not know prices) Liquor purchases? Yes ( wine and beer ) Snack Vendors: yes (high price for items) Rental Vendor: yes ( seat cushions, blankets, binoculars) Art Vendors: yes ( some Really great talent under that roof) Shoe recommendations: comfortable, some walking and just checking out all there is to see. Overall: First time try, and I did not go for nosebleed seats. I wanted upfront and first row, and dang it, that is what I got. This was good and bad as there was some production in different areas of the arena, so some head turning required. But it was all worth it. From the opening to the final seconds, it was worth the tickets. What made it more special was to have a friend having a wonderful time being part of the experience as a model in the show. I will go back and yes, look for the same seats. 4.5 Stars...

Great show for those who appreciate traditional art and art history. A great experience with a live orchestra, dancers, and singers against beautiful artworks. The venue is held outside and shows starts after sunsets. Best to sit to the right of center stage and as close to the stage as you can afford. This is the left side (even number seat side) if facing the stage.

This venue and living pictures tradition is really so wonderful it’s almost difficult to describe, you must go see it for yourself. The performance not only brings to live paintings and sculpture from past and present, it brings to life all of the talent, skill and creativity that is embodied in the classical and modern works of art along with the modern day enthusiasm for the storytelling of such art. Drop what you’re doing each each summer and go see this!

This is my third time attending the Pageant of the Masters and I still love it! I always learn a little something about art history. The magical transformations on stage are incredible! And to top it all off, you can bring your own wine and food into the auditorium with you! It doesnt get any better than that! Parking was only $5 at one of the exterior lots and catching the trolley before and after the show was a breeze. I highly recommend checking out all of the artists showcasing their work as well. Who knows, you may just find the perfect piece to take home with you.

This event is so unique and amazing, I highly recommend to experience. The local art, the pageant and its volunteers do an unbelievable job. Theres nothing like seeing famous art come to life on stage and a story being told about it.

Im, just go. Just go and experience this thing and get there before the doors open. You may think oh, Ill just wait until before the show starts... Your wont. Parking can take a minute and walking over takes a minute also. Standing in line wasnt that bad for us as we were inside in about 15 minutes, be we got there about 15 min before the doors opened at 5:30. We spent the whole time walking around and admiring all the artists and their work. They did have good and drinks you could purchase and it was ok. Pretty pricy for some of the selections for what you got, but hey, if youre hungry its there. They had alcohol where the food was but it wasnt as good of selection as the dedicated alcohol both. OH- BRING YOUR OWN BUTT CUSHION FOR THE CHAIRS!!!!! we rented some and it was a lifesaver, but I wish it had more dense foam in it. Also BRING A BLANKET/JACKET it may be hot in the day but the night is cold, and if anything it can add more cushion to your butt. The show is unlike anything Ive seen before. Artists becoming live paintings. WOW. I really really wish they had shown them getting into place way more or even at every painting. THATS THE BEST PART! SHOW MORE!!! This was my first time, but wont be my last

I dont like art but this is amazing. I love the shows I have been to two and they have been super cool. The art is done with all real people instead of paintings. There is also so much to do outside of the show. The art work is incredible and highly recommend if you are near at the right time!!

What a treat! This was my first time attending the Pageant of the Masters and it happened to be their 90th anniversary. Paula Abdul was a wonderful host. I also loved the narrator. He made me feel like I was listening to a wonderful fairy tale cozying up near a fireplace. The weather can get really cold at night, so bringing a jacket was the right call.I appreciate the organizers allowing visitors to bring their own snacks and drinks. Quite often when I go to the opera or ballet, I’m forced to select from overpriced subpar options. So bringing my own favorites made this night so much more delightful. The art exhibits were out of this world: inspiring, showcasing an incredible level of expertise and skill. We couldn’t get enough of it, so while we came a few hours before the show to have time to view all exhibits, we stayed afterwards, well into the night, to get one last glance. The concert performance before the show was a nice touch, providing us with the opportunity to mingle and enjoy being out with like minded individuals. Now about the performance itself:I was astonished by the level of skill and art expertise of all those artists and performers who worked on this show. From the script writers, to the makeup artists, stage specialists who coordinated the art piece being put together before the audience, the performers who have done an incredible job being still, becoming a part of the art piece, and gospel singers with such powerful voices, giving the audience goosebumps. It was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. To those who do not know what this show is about, I can try summarizing the concept:It’s a narrative that walks you through different artists and their art (paintings and sculptures) where the art piece is assembled on stage that looks like an enlarged copy of the original. The only difference is that it’s comprised of props painted to imitate the actual painting, people in makeup positioned into the props and the background to make it all come together. The most interesting part is that it’s incredibly hard to tell which people in the paintings are painted and which are real people. I found it exciting that the action went off stage. Multiple art pieces were set up in the greenery around the stage (most were set up on the left, one piece was set up on the right). I’ll be honest, I thought they were props at first, only realizing they were real people after the spotlight was off, the action moved to the stage and I squinted really hard, detecting slight movements in the bushes as the “props” disappeared into the woods. I highly recommend everyone to come see the Pageant of the Masters.
