Fresh subs done the right way. Sandwich shops can be incredibly hard for me to eat at because of my dairy allergy. The firehouse crew has always handled my food allergy with the utmost care. Your hunger will certainly be extinguished by these firehouse subs! Thank you to Jeff and the crew for always making it a positive experience.

Ordered on the app. Intentionally showed up 5 mins after to pick up an order for a coworker with mine. Theirs was done and mine was not. Had to wait 10 mins for the order to be prepared. No offer to reduce price/something for the inconvenience which was offered to another customer with the same issue. Havent been here before and wont be back. Also shy on the sides.

Sunday lunch and it is packed. Welcoming staff and food is good. Combo drinks are huge and the wait time is approximately 20 minutes, so I recommend ordering online.

A little pricey but good! My son loved it because he wants to be a firefighter. Hes still wearing the hat. An employee was so sweet came to ask if we needed anything, when we said no he asked my 4 year old if he wanted mom to have a hat too. Then he got me one. My son thought that was pretty cool!

Always come here for the cheddar brisket sub. And I always look forward to the pickle. Unfortunately last night I picked up my order and there was no pickle and my sub did not taste right…it was dry had very little bbq and Mayo. Worker was nice unfortunately the other worker was in his face talking and I’m assuming that’s why my sub was not made correctly and the pickle was forgotten. It just ruined my dinner and the reason I go there. By the time I got home and noticed the place had closed so I couldnt really do anything about it.

Firehouse Subs is my favorite place for hot subs. Theres a Jersey Mikes nearby, and a Jimmy Johns a couple miles away--JJs is great for cold subs--but for hot subs, Firehouse beats them all hands down. The Hook & Ladder remains their hallmark. The medium size makes a good meal, with maybe a small pack of Lays chips and a soda to wash it down. Their chili is terrific too, if you havent tried it, dont miss it! Ive tried all their subs and while theyre all great, Hook & Ladder remains their best. Oh, and if youre a vegetarian you just might love their Veggie sub which is awesome too. Theres seating inside the restaurant as well as outside. Service is quick. There are non-gendered restrooms. And if you have a sweet tooth, they also sell brownies which Ive never tried so cant comment on, but I wouldnt be surprised if they were as good as their terrific sandwiches!

The food is good! I have absolutely no complaints and the establishment itself supports first responders which is awesome. My big thing about this was the fact that I waited 40+ minutes for my New York steamer. I walked in, went to the pick up and someone told me it’ll be a couple minutes for it to be done. Waited and waited until I decided to take another look at the pick up station and sure enough my sub was there. 40 minutes later and cold. Nobody even bothered to check up and see if I needed any help or anything. Why tell your customers that the sub will take some more time when y’all already made it? Wasted 40 minutes.

Great food, decent prices, excellent customer service, and a completely stocked Coke freestyle machine! Its so rare when you find the machine that doesnt have half the syrups missing. But honestly I love the food, quality ingredients, always clean dining room, and immaculate bathrooms. You really cant complain, even if you wanted to do so.

Updated review: I decided to come back to Firehouse Subs after avoiding it for several years due to lackluster first impressions. I have to say that the food quality has since gone up and the prices seem to have been a little inflation proof. I wasnt mad at how much I paid for a yummy spicy chicken sub. Everyone was also very nice behind the counter, which was the most noticeable improvement from the past. I now say this place is worth a try if you havent been before.

Not impressed. Underwhelmed. Pastrami/corned beef sandwich was nothing to write home about. $14 for a medium combo. I didnt feel like I got my moneys worth. I go to Everest and their pastrami sandwich there is piled high, and very flavorful. Here, I saw a few thin flat cuts. While the taste was par, I was hungry in about 2 hours, and Im not a voracious 20 year old. Bread wasnt fresh and had no crusty, fresh taste. Theres a reason I only go here once a year, if at all. I thought Id try them again after covid lockdown. Disappointed. I dont recommend it.

Delicious! For us, for donations, for any reason at all, we are huge Firehouse Subs fans. They care about the community, participating in many different fundraisers. They care about 1st Responders too which I like and appreciate. My diversely tastebudded family will tear up a hook and ladder sub without a second thought; give it a try.

Very good food overall, portions are perfect, enough to fill without being stuffed, and prices are reasonable. Love that they give back to the community too. One thing to note though is that when they say they close at 9:30 (at the time of this posting), they mean it. They dont allow phone orders for pickup and everything is to go only within 30 min of closing. I have not been there at store closing but Id imagine they try and get everyone out the door asap. Not necessarily bad, but keep in mind if you are going close to closing time.

My favorite sandwiches! Great first impression when you walk in and see the firefighter themed restaurant. Service has always been outstanding. The quality of the sandwiches is unbeatable. It is a little pricey but still much cheaper than Jersey Mikes. I dont mind paying for great quality and service! 👍👍

The Firehouse sandwiches are great, no complaints on the quality of the food. However, I had a negative experience with the manager on duty the day of my visit. I somehow, my mistake or the attendant at the register, ordered the wrong size sandwich ( small when I wanted a medium). When my sandwich was brought to the table, I advised the waiter that I wanted the medium and not the small. My receipt indicated that I had paid for the small sandwich. The line to order another sandwich had grown and waiter said he would take care of it. He took the sandwich back, returning a few minutes later. The waiter advised that his manager (Jacob) said that if I wanted another sandwich I would have order one.I would have to stand back in line, order a sandwich and wait for it, while the group that I was with finish their meal. In my opinion, the manager should have talked to me in person and given me the chance to pay for another sandwich without standing in line. When I confronted Jacob in person, he gave me the impression that he thought I was trying to scam a sandwich out of him. Jacob needs training on how to deal with customers. He is confrontational and does not understand the importance of customers to a small business.

The restaurant wasnt that busy when we arrived. But we were told they were too busy to fix or restocked the freestyle Coke machine. Also they asked if we wanted pickles with our sandwiches only to be told the were out. No soup either. Mustve been an off day. The Mgr had the soda problem resolved in a few min.

Wanted to try something new and this place was nearby. Good atmosphere inside, friendly workers and clean interior. This place is a much better option than Subway, IMO. Lots of options, I had the Turkey & Cranberry sub. This was a great tasting sub. Will definitely come back. Only drawback is the portions are a little small. but I guess thats normal for chain restaurants.

They have great subs, theyre pretty big too. Theres also a large selection of hot sauces, with stickers denoting the relative heat of each one, ranked from 1-10. 10s will tend to give you a religious experience due to their heat, whereas 5s have good flavor, and 1s are basically ketchup!

Picked up subs the other day cause my lovely pregnant wife was craving it and ran into a small snag with one of the subs, it does get a little hard to hear with masks and plexiglass, but I get with precautions its for safety. The lady who made it was more than happy to correct it. We love the friendly and accommodating service everytime.

My first time eating here today. What a gem of a sub restaurant. Walking in was a huge surprise with very interesting firehouse decor. Extremely nice and friendly staff who took time to explain the menu. The best surprise was the food. I had a Hook and Ladder light sub and it was totally delicious, very fresh and really nice bread. Very clean and accommodating. This is a keeper and I will be back with my friends. Highly recommended.

I like the Jamaica Jerk turkey sandwich, its funny though..it not spicy though..(like not at all) which is strange.. because jerk sauce is veryyyyyyyyyy spicy. Us Islanders love pepper sauces. The sandwich is good though. Kinda reminds me of the brown sugar glaze they put on ham, they had a bit of pepper. Still good though. This fire house sub place is always clean and they are very friendly. Food is made prompt and fresh.😊

I tried this place for the first time today. I had the pastrami reuben it was so delicious I called my wife and told her about it. She asked me to bring her a Firehouse Salad which is supposed to have Romaine lettuce and from the description of the menu it sounded good. Forget the salads here it was awful!! The lettuce was not green Romaine but appeared to be yellow iceberg lettuce and it was not appetizing nor did my wife think it tasted good at all.

What a wonderful sandwich house. Took in some guests from Chicago who are very judgemental on on Subs and they loved it. Very friendly overly helpful staff and of course meeting the wee waitress Jennifer Press. She was making sure everyone was satisfied while cleaning tables and chatting up a handsome Scotsman! Best sandwich shop, HANDS DOWN. I do highly suggest eating in instead of dining out, the food is far superior when it is served fresh and the meat is hot and the bread is nice & crunchy. Dont get me wrong, it is still delicious when you bring it home, but the bread does tend to get a bit soggy from all the meat by the time I get to my house (which is about a 20 min drive). I think what I appreciate most about This place is that the meat is very high quality and very fresh, its even better than the boars head from the deli. It seriously is the best place ever and subway, jersey mikes, jimmy johns, and Quiznos will never, ever compare. I once ate firehouse every single day for three weeks straight... It is seriously that good. I get a simple turkey sandwich on wheat with provolone & lettuce (trust me its simple but lots of other sandwich shops manage to mess this up somehow) and my boyfriend always gets their beef & cheddar brisket, one of the more popular items on the menu. We are both obsessed & addicted lol.
