Its our goto place for cheap eats while in the LA area.Our choice is their organic tofu with brown rice and veggies, but they also do beef and chicken.

If your a fan of food that is not fatty and fried and not overly expensive, this place is still a good option. As with all food, prices have gone up and size down, but they do a good job keeping things fresh and as flavorful, with the sauces, as you prefer. They no longer allow you to get your own sauses but just ask if you want more.

Went for lunch, had the regular chicken bowl with veggies and onions. Tasty and felt like I was eating a healthy choice. The 2 concerns I have is that we dined in and the dining area was a mess. Multiple tables and chairs had not been wiped off after use. Also, the plastic utensils they provide are dollar tree or 99 cents store level quality, almost unusable. The parking lot in the shopping center fills up fast.

I’ve been going to this flame boiler for many years now. Quality and service always been consistently good. My favorite item to get is the half-and-half chicken and beef plate with all the vegetables included. Definitely healthy choice and quite balanced. Very filling and highly recommend.

While I was dining I needed to use the restroom. To use the restroom in there you need a key and I asked the cashier for the key and they opened the restroom for me. However, the cashier stayed with the key. While I was using the restroom the one of the staff members was unlocking the door and opened it while I was still in there. Pathetic and grotesque practice from there.

The salad is a handful of dry slaw. The fresh fruit is half a small dry orange. The veggies are 2 pieces of broccoli and a pinch of cabbage. Learned my lesson. 🤷‍♀️

This Flame Broiler location is clean and efficient. I love Flame Broiler because of the options... there arent very many, but it seems like a ton!First you pick the size of your bowl. Regular is a great portion for most people. Next you select the bottom/foundation of your bowl: rice (brown or white), veggies, or a combo of both. Then you select your protein: beef, chicken, or tofu (or a beef/chicken combo). They make it up for you in the back and when its ready, you pick your sauce based on how spicy you want it.I like to get a bowl with brown rice and tofu, and magic sauce (not spicy... im too white for my own good - haha!). Im not vegetarian, but they cook their tofu very well here.This location had a steady stream of customers, but it was never busy or crowded. The parking lot was a challenge for us with our big truck, but there was plenty of parking on top of Vons. We stopped here for lunch before an afternoon at the Huntington Library, and Im glad we did! Highly recommended!

Edit - came here again and same good food and friendly staff. Jaime was so nice, offered suggestions and went out of his way to help customers. I like this location.The food is fresh and good portions. I tried their new Korean spicy chicken which was good and spicy, I would order it again. The staff is friendly and attentive.

The cashier girl discriminated me and being rude by not even giving me the total amount of my order. And to other customers she seemed to give them the light of day and treat them nicely. Must be a racist location and does not like asian americans.

This is a quick service restaurant and a good alternative to your typical fast food. This place is good place for a quick meal or a meal to go. Their magic sauce makes the food taste even better. If youre looking for a healthy meal, Id probably skip this place and go somewhere else. But if youre looking for a quick meal that wont break your budget then consider this place.

I am a big fan of the flame broiler. I always get the bowl with vegetables and green onions. I personally like to ask for two magic sauces and two hot sauces. Which comes out to $9.10This location was a little strange so I just paid cash because I kept having trouble with my card.

I had a great meal at the Flame Broiler/Pasadena today. I ate the regular bowl with the Black Angus Beef w/brown rice & veggies. I also had a Peak Ice Tea as well. The Black Angus Beef was very tender and tasty. The veggies which were broccoli & carrots, complimented the dish as well. I believe you can have the choice of beef, chicken, or veggie; whichever is your preference. The restaurant is nice and clean; very comfortable. The staff there is very friendly, attentive, and professional. Relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced whether for lunch, dinner, or in between (lenner). Check It out for yourself!☺

This place has everything you. Wed for a healthy meal, white or brown rice, steamed broccoli and cabbage, avocado and green onions, tofu, grilled chicken and Angus steak, all the usual fountain drinks and bottled water. Nice, clean dinning room, outdoor seating, friendly staff and reason able prices. I spent $11 on a small bowl with chicken and beef, veggies and avocado and a regular fountain drink (July 2019).

Indoor & nice patio dining. Fresh tasting. I had brown rice & veggies a bit more healthy. You can get a few variety of sauces to put on top if u choose. There are mini bowls which was filling for me. Regular size bowls & you are able to choose 1/2 & 1/2 for protein selection of chicken, beef or tofu.😋!!

I had a regular chicken bowl with brown rice and vegetables. My food was very good but the portion was small. Though inexpensive, I would rather pay $3 more and get a larger size or more meat. Also, why not also offer shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura? Right now I prefer Mako Bowl where I can get a combo meal with chicken teriyaki and shrimp and vegetable tempura for a few dollars more. Service was very quick here.

Jose is a customer focused courteous friendly and excellent gentleman. He is going to be rich because of that someday. I wanted the Korean Spicy Cicken bowl and he said...great, but it is very very spicy. I have IBS and I am sure he saved me from pain umpiring my 3rd game of the day at Allendale Park. I always bring my own container when I get the magic sauce. The containers they have on hand are way to small. I always use the leftover sauce for other things. Like dribbling a bit on my dogs food so he will finish it. He loves the sauce.

I love flame broiler when I need a quick, healthy meal. This store has about 10 tables inside and an outside patio. Theres a TV inside with Friends direct TV. It was really nice of them to put on the NBA playoffs as I enjoyed my meal.

Chicken definitely needs improvement. Its the matter of slicing the meat rather than cutting in cubes. You have to be especially careful with white meat, which you have to pay more. Beef is better.

Ordered the organic tofu that they advertise everywhere, Got cupons in the mail so I went with the free half portion of Avocado. They made the tofu fresh, but it was seriously lacking in taste didnt have any char broiled flavor at all, had to use lots of hot sauce and teriyaki just to get it down. Disappointing, I could make something way better than this anytime of the day with things I find in the fridge.
