2023-11-16 04:00:24The veggies were all extremely freezer burnt, and chicken tasted weird. The only edible part was the brown rice.

2023-05-23 02:58:19Ordered the regular half and half bowl with white rice and a side of brown rice. Both rice looked the exact same and both were undercooked, pretty sure rice isnt supposed to be crunchy. Whats worse is that it made me sick the whole next day. Dont go there

2022-12-14 21:16:14Bowls are great with good nutrition info available and at a good price. Service was par. Building was.... Not great, weird small and dirty appearance.

2019-10-03 17:35:44Ordered mixed beef/chicken. Was happy to discover I could skip the rice and eat it on a bed of veggies. It doesnt come with sauce already on it, but theres a sauce bar, and their magic sauce is delicious. The slaw salad also comes plain--the lady behind the counter gave me some sesame sauce to go on it. I tried it and didnt really like it; didnt taste of sesame at all to me.But the star was the meat and veggies, so I give it 5 stars. Tasted great. You can tell the steak was marinated. Chicken was seasoned nicely.Oh, also, the orange they gave me with it just wanted great. Dont know why. Sometimes you just get non-sweet, non-tangy oranges. Luck of the draw I guess

2021-08-04 21:18:32This is the only location that has ever tried to charge me for sauce. There isn’t a sauce for us to put on the bowl itself, so you try to nickel and dime your guests, haha. The staff is bland, the service is very much gtfo, and the food surprisingly isn’t as good as other locations like on Del Amo in Cerritos. Wouldn’t come back, just to be petty and not support this location.

2020-09-01 22:37:05The lady refused to give me more than 5 sauces although I had 5 bowls. So one sauce for bowl? That makes no sense. The food is plain and flavorless without the sauces so it’s pointless. Will be going to a different location from now on.

2023-03-10 09:40:02Everything was fine, I dont have anything negative to highlight and on the opposite side of the coin, there wasnt anything that made it stand out as anything spectacular.

2015-07-02 20:07:08Located in the busy Lakewood/Cover food corner, this small-ish location can get quite crowded and waiting around for your food amidst the crowd at the height of lunch hour can be a bit challenging--Im never sure where the best place is to stand. Aside from that, it delivers everything you could possibly want from a Flame Broiler. Ive been a few times and the quality and preparation of the food have been consistent and predictable--possibly the highest praise one could give to a chain restaurant.

2022-09-05 00:55:44Tasty food, friendly & quick service. Definitely suggest you try it if you havent already!I went to The Flame Broiler on Candlewood Ave. in Lakewood, CA just across the street from the north side of the Lakewood Center.Be aware that this location IS NOT listed, nor found any where on, The Flame Broilers corp. website. I emailed the corp office, but I have not received a reply as of this writing. I also mentioned it to the cashier at The Flame Broiler when I was there & he was aware his locations omission from the corp. websites location listing, but he appeared, at least to me, to be frustrated from, or tired of, trying to correct the exclusion. So, if you want to find the Candlewood Ave. location in Lakewood, CA, youll need to include Candlewood Ave.& Lakewood, CA along with The Flame Broiler when doing an internet search.
