This is for message is for the management of this place .Paid for half and half bowls only got chicken. The lady that served us was so rude after,I told her I asked for no veggies. I don’t know her name but she was serving the 11:00 am shift on 06/24/20 I don’t have the luxury of going back due that I was on my lunch break. This is stealing, place was slow she completely knew what she was doing. I hope management can do something about this. I have been coming here for years and never had a problem till now.

This is my go-to fast food on super busy days. I like the 1/2 and 1/2 with white rice. Ive also tried the veggie one and the white meat chicken one. Theyre all good. Service is friendly and fast and healthier than other fast food choices.

Arrived 30 mins before closing (9:00p). Out of beef, tofu vegetables - only chicken and rice. Watched 5 different people walk in and then walk out when then found out they didn’t have all menu items. I mean really, you have 5 items on your menu and you’re out of 3. Like In-N-Out saying “sorry, we only have fries and shakes tonight”. Maybe they just didn’t feel like cooking more for our group since they were breaking things down. On a Friday night, you’d hope they would be more prepared. It wasn’t very clean either...bathroom atrocious. Chicken was okay. Very disappointed.

Have you ever Order something so simple and when you picked it up it was completely the wrong thing? I can blame myself for not checking my order while I was there, but I was sort of kind of in a hurry.. My question is do the employees who answer the phone here at Flame Broiler really Listen or are they just to overwhelmed by the amount of business thats coming through the doors? Not sure but I spoke to the lady who answered the phone and had to repeat myself multiple times and my order was super duper simple. I said three mixed chicken and beef bowls no veggies with white rice. Didnt think that was to hard to understand. But she repeated my order and said, Yeah Ok, three chicken bowls brown rice. I said no, three mixed chicken and beef no veggies white rice. And she said it again. I had to ask her if she was listening to me and she responded yes. I asked her to repeat my order and she said three chicken bowls with steak and white rice.. I get there and pay for my meal take it to work sit down, and what do I find? Chicken brown rice and veggies..I called this evening to ask for the manager and the lady who answered said huh? The manager is not here, I asked when will she be in? She said I dont know try in the morning. I said heres my number and the lady either could not understand what I was saying or she was not entirely equipped to be answering phones at this establishment because it took her 5 different tries and 3 minutes to get it right.. come in Flame Broiler you couldnt hire someone who can at least understand English or Numbers for that matter.. wow.. very disappointed with what use to be my favorite quick bite to eat.. definitely dropped down on my list of good places to grub.. sorry but had to write this I was sooooo mad.. so here is your review flame broiler get it right next time.. we will see if the manager calls me tomorrow..

I really like that the food is always fresh and hot here. Service is quick and its a pretty good place to pick up a healthy meal for just under $10.I particularly enjoy the beef bowl with white rice no veggie. Or when Im feeling wild I get it mixed 50/50 with chicken.

Absolutely the worse experience! They dont even get one star. After waiting 20 minutes for the bowl they made the wrong bowl. Then they wanted to charge me more for their mistake. Obviously I wanted my money back and wasted my short lunch time. No apologies, or Im sorry we got your order wrong just an insincere have a nice day.. Really? This is not the first bad experience at this location but it will certainly be the last. I will never try to eat here again. Will be relaying this experience to corporate.

On my recent patronage, I called ahead to order for pick up. The girl on the phone was not courteous, and did not listened or payed attention, I had to repeat my order four times to her.When I arrived, my order wasnt even in the queue, so I ordered again.The staff was distracted and not courteous at all, they looked like they would rather be elsewhere.When I finally got my order, I felt I was had. The serving was too small, overpriced, and the bowl was half empty. Also, the vegetables were raw.Not coming back to this location, I would rather drive to the one by the In-N-Out. Let me know when this location is at least half as decent as it was before, if it is not too much to ask.

Been here a few times since we moved to the area and each time has been the worst service and serving of food. Have been eating flame broiler for years and have never seen such small portions or hardly any rice in the bowls and when I asked for more to actually fill the bowl they acted like I was insulting them. I know it’s basically fast food but c’mon It’s not that hard.

I frequent this place as I live down the street, but the last 3-4 times I have gone they have butchered my order and given me less than what I paid for. Gradually gotten less and less meat with every order and cant keep brown/white rice or veggies/no veggies straight on any order over 1 bowl. Sad that it has deteriorated.

I’m a vegetarian so I always older tofu plate or bowl. I ordered tofu plate this evening and I saw some meat in my plate. As a human I know that we make mistakes. It’s acceptable to some level. But I saw unacceptable amount of meat in my plate today. And I was the only guy out there so it is very unlikely that they mistakenly mixed tofu with meat. Plus the fruit is not fresh either.

I visit this restaurant about once a week. For the price, the food is great. I have been a few times late in the afternoon where the meat seems a bit dried out, perhaps from sitting for awhile, & occasionally you get a piece of gristle, but for the most part its nice & fresh. They are famous for their teriyaki sauce, so dont forget to get some extra.

Horrible customer service, place was dirty and dark. Rude employees. I love flame broiler but this was the worst one Ive ever been to. I ask the dude to separate my veggies from my bowl and he looks at me as if I was speaking some foreign language. Charges me extra for it when every other flame broiler Ive been too had no problem with it. I dont care about paying extra but if you get offended by me having my food the way I want it then you should re consider your career path. It was a very unpleasant experience and I hope their management does something about it.

I always eat at flame broiler since it is a healthy satisfying choice. This is my second time At this location first time they opened with out having anything prepped. I waited for 30 mins but I my cell work in a restaurant. So I know and I understand that sometimes you open late. But today was my second time here the customer service was horrible the lady didnt ask me for brown rice or white rice and she didnt even ask to trust my salad I know whats more detail but I am really anal about my food and I just did not appreciate how he asked me what I wanted after I asked if its too late to change for brown rice she didnt she said its too late and you cant do anything about it I mean I pay $10 for a plate I just have to at least get good customer service I dont mind waiting as long as a customer service is good well I suggest you dont eat here or I suggest to the owner and to change his staff because its horrible here not to mention that the rice is super mushy and its unedible

I ordered a mini beef bowl, I got a whole wad of meat, like a clump of jumbled meat. All the meat pieces were stuck together as if the meat was days old. I paid $12 for a mini bowl.. Will not be returning.

I have tried this location three different times in the past year only because they are open til ten .and boy oh boy does it suck .the food sucks the rice tastes and smells like it has been steamed with dirty dish water the chicken always seems cold and at times under cooked there is no flavor to tbe bowl at all .the service is very poor there is a language barrier because I dont speak Spanish and I really hate to say this but I think my just being there angered them I dont know why maybe its because Im white or something I just dont know because the gentleman before me in line was greeted with a smile and conversation all in Spanish though, on all three occasions it was the same experience I even tipped them the first time to show my appreciation for the work they do.no change .BUT !I will say this the 17th St and orange AVE location IS THE BEST ONE IVE EVER BEEN TO EVER !DONT BELIEVE ME BUY A BOWL AT EACH LOCATION AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK .THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT THE FOOD IS AWESOME .I TIP THEM 5$ EVERY CHANCE I GET AND ALWAYS LET THEM KNOW WHAT A GOOD JOB THEY DO ..I WISH THEY STAYED OPEN TIL TEN .

Here at Costamesa at Kmart Plaza, the customer service is disgusting! On the part of a cashier who I couldnt identify by name, she makes you feel as if the food will be given away, urgently they give them training on how to treat the customer, on the other hand the employees would have to wear a badge with their names for any complaint of the customers, otherwise the food is good.
