We ordered Grilled Chicken Super Burrito and Carne Asada Quesadilla. Both were great. Chicken was very tender and tasty. Quesadilla came with real steak meat; it was really great. First time I have seen a real steak meat used in the dish. Keep it up!!! I recommend Quesadilla; you will not regret. Chips are very good too. Salsa bar is super nice and tasty.Good clean place, great customer service!!!!!Keep up great work!!!

We came to this place on the recommendation of a local. First off, there are so many choices on the menu which makes it hard to make a choice. In the end I had the chile relleno burrito (veggie) which was perfection. The taste, freshness of ingredients and level of heat were just right. Sadly, I was too hungry and didn’t snap a photo of this beauty before it was devoured. The chips and salsa were really fresh and tasty as well. I’m looking forward to my next visit. The owner Jose came out to check on us and we told him that the food was amazing.

Absolutely amazing salsa! I tend to judge my Mexican restaurants by their salsa and this place has the best! The owner makes it himself and you can tell he takes a great deal of pride in it. Oh, and the food was excellent too! My husband loved his carnitas burrito and my shredded chicken tacos were full of flavor!

Reallly friendly cashier and cook. Store is clean and well kept. Food portions are large and every bite of my carne asada burrito was a good bite. Salsas are all fresh and the chips are crisp. At $12 bucks for a burrito that’s a little more than I’m used to paying but it was money well spent. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. Plus the cashier filled up my cooler with ice, so that was nice.

We found this great place by looking up reviews. We contracted with them to provide a taco bar for our son and daughter-laws rehearsal dinner, which was held at Knee Deep Brewery in September. From ordering, to pick up, and returning of a few of their borrowed items, the service they provided was impeccable!! All in attendance absolutely loved the food as well. The owner/cook, helped guide me through the ordering process and I couldnt be happier about how it all turned out and it didnt break the bank!! Thank you for the wonderful food and service!

Great burritos, and even better service. The burritos are very large, you definitely get what you pay for. The prices are a little high, but worth it. I can rarely finish one burrito because its so large. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. We will continue to go back here.

This place I have passed by so many times and taco tree and Mexican market close at 7 so I was like what the hell Ill try it. Omg it was so good. They give you chips and salsa with every item sides of sour cream and gauc. They dont hold back. I wish they had a menu online I could read and a drive threw would send it over the top. Rough experience, drove here specifically for the reviews and had a rough customer service experience. This is the one Mexican Restaurant that wont add spicy salsa to your burrito. Spicy salsa in burritos is amazing and minimal effort. I would love an opportunity to change my review if this was a one off experience or if *policy* changes.In my book a 4+ star rating means above average customer service as well.

Food is amazing and hospitality is definitely there! One of my favorite Mexican food places out there and Ive been to quite a few! Their complimentary chips and salsa is top notch with several options on the salsa and the hot is actually hot! That five star average rating is NO JOKE. Definitely make sure to give this place a try if youre in Auburn or even just visiting because it does not disappoint. Ill be visiting whenever Im in town for sure!

I moved here from the bay area about 5 years ago, and Ive been searching for a good place for burritos. Ive finally found it. The Flaming Burrito is a family owned restaurant who are all very friendly and helpful. They offer an assortment of burritos that are made with fresh ingredients. The meat and vegetables are nicely cooked and have a lot of flavor. Im especially impressed by the consistency of quality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great burrito.

Our favorite burrito place in Auburn. The service is great, theyre always super nice and friendly, and even though you order at the counter, they come out to check how your meal is at least once. This place is severely underrated. I had the beer battered fish burrito. It was delicious and also huge--I had less than half and I was full. It was quite busy, but the employees were so friendly and attentive. While you wait, theres a salsa bar that has tasty warm chips and several different salsas with varying levels of hotness. I had the medium one and it was some of the best salsa Ive ever tasted. If I hadnt had to go back to work, I probably wouldve just sat there and ate chips and salsa all day. They definitely use high-quality ingredients too.

Best Mexican restaurant Ive ever been to. Warm authentic chips and staff. Eat one, chat with the other. The chef came to ask how our food was. Guac was fresh with the perfect amount t of lime. Veggie burrito was $11 and they asked if I was vegetarian to make sure nothing in there had touched meat products. Spend your money here!

We have been to flaming burrito about three times now. We find that we go out of our way when were in Auburn to go to that place specifically. Let me start by saying the staff was great. Everyone was incredibly nice and really accommodating as far as options for food goes. Next up, let me talk about the Salsa Bar. It had 8 different salsas from mild all the way to too hot. I like the 3rd hottest a lot, but that was just me. There were several variations as well, green, red, chunky, liquidy. IN short, it was a fine Salsa Bar.Now for the burrito, I got a Steak California Burrito w/ Avocado instead of Guacamole. Basically, it was Steak, Cheese, Tater Tots and Avocado. Im a big fan of the Tot, and having it in a burrito was a new experience. And a worthwhile one. Crunchy and Tasty. I would definitely return here.

Cute little hole in the wall place. But be prepared to pay, because wow, its expensive. I got the fajita burrito, and it was $13.50. So I was expecting it to be super big, or super fancy and it was neither. Just a typical taqueria burrito. My husband and I each got a burrito, I got a side of rice and beans and no drinks and the total came out to $30. So its a pretty expensive lunch. Tasty, but expensive.

Always the best service at Flaming Burrito. Even when its busy and food takes a bit longer they are always incredible about it. Although it is quite expensive I have a habit of going back for the great food and service. The place is quite small. I wouldnt personally recommend having a party there, but maybe get the takeout instead.

So far I have eaten at over a dozen Mexican food spots in Northern California I lived 4 years in San Diego as a kid and burritos was an awesome tasty staple food but now that I am living in Northern California i was starting to lose hope that I would ever find ( big ) and ( flavorful ) burritos.Flaming Burrito Grill has given me a good first experience they are very kind people that went out of their way to make sure I liked what I was eating and yes it was good I am happy that I pinned them on Google maps to try them out and I will definitely go back for more on my trips to Auburn.This first visit we had two burritos one was the Gigante burrito with chicken and the other I think was called Ranchero burrito with carne asada both are good.Flaming Burrito Grill is Family run so with that I know that the good food will stay good unlike other places that have a high turnover rate and with that also changes food quality.Looking forward to trying more of the menu soon...
