This place was exceptional. I really love the ambiance of the actual restaurant. You can literally smell the food before you order it in this food smells delicious. The service was very nice. The server was polite. I had the steamed rice, Sagg Maslsa, Chana maslsa, Roti, Chapati. The bathroom was very clean. There was plenty soap to wash your hands. Food was prepared quickly and very delicious.Seem very authentic as if I was at a friends house in Bangladesh or Mumbai. I also stopped and listened to the conversation of the chefs and the servers and their conversations were all about the food and how serious they are about cooking and preparing food for the. Public and how theyve families been doing it for 6000 years..

Don’t go here. Worst experience ever. Food was bad and the waiter demanded us to tell him why we thought the samosas were not to our liking. We basically left without eating anything. Veg fried rice was made in the morning and same once was served cold and dry to us at night. Curries were all westernized obviously. What’s the point in having a restaurant when you serve such bad food. Indian food can be made simple and yet tasty. Our bill- We basically donated $50 for no reason.

Started with papadams, tamarind chutney, and pickled veg. Amazing. The pickled veg was stunning.Followed with Lamb Vindaloo, which wasnt as spicy as I was bracing for, but was nonetheless excellent.

Flavor of India has literally the best samosas I have ever had, light and fluffy with fresh ingredients. I had the chicken tikka masala, the chicken itself was very okay and the tikka masala was pretty good. And who doesnt love naan bread. Overall good experience you want some decent Indian food with great samosas definitely check out flavor of India Burbank.

I love Indian food and have tried several restaurants throughout the so Cal area. I was excited to try Flavor of India. However I was left feeling unsatisfied with the entire experience. After waiting for a table on a busy Friday night, I was finally seated only to wait another additional 20 minutes before anybody came to take my order. I ordered samosas, chicken Tikka, lamb vindaloo, Naan, and rice. The samosas were not that great. It was rather dull in taste and complexity compared to the fragrance of spices Im accustomed to in Samosas. After waiting for another 20 mins, the food starting to come one by one. First was the chicken Tikka. Again. Disappointing from the chicken Tikka I have had other places. Not to say it was bad, but it lacked the unique char and smoked taste that is the signature taste of anything made in the clay oven. It just tasted like regular ol chicken fajitas.Next the lamb vindaloo. Again the trend continues. Something lacking in the overall flavor profile compared to other versions Ive tried. The saag alo was good, however the potatoes were UNDERCOOKED and just ruined the dish for me. The rice that I ordered never came. Which was just disappointing. Nobody ever came to check on me for well over 30 mins. By the time I could get somebody, to tell them about the rice. The kitchen was already closed. It was just a disappointing experience for me overall and wont be back. The food is by no means bad, its just not that great either. I think there are much better places to get your Indian fix on.
