Was so happy to find this place open at 6am on a Saturday. Had several vegetarian options for my husband and I, indoor and outdoor seating, and great coffee drinks. Didn’t take pics of the food until we had each already dug in. 😸 I was especially happy with the house-made pumpkin syrup for their pumpkin lattes (it had real pieces of pumpkin!) our food was fast, tasty, and served by a very friendly barista. Overall great way to start of the day. Would recommend.

I already paid an extra fee to add fruit to the French toast combo and they only gave me 4 little strawberry slices.It sucks because I like this place and was ready to give it 5 stars, but even on my first visit, on the menu it says the French toast includes fruit but as soon as you pay 16 for the combo the fruit are removed unless you pay a fee, which I did but 4 little strawberry slices is highway robbery if I have to pay an additional fee. The portions are also tiny.Update: I tried to order with them again and tell them what happened last time, but they laughed and kept cutting me off mid sentence to tell me that they were going to continue to serve me 4 little strawberry slices with an extra fee charged.

I ordered an iced caramel latte and a baleada. The coffee was perfect and the baleada was something I had never tried before and was SO good. Both the food and the drink were nice large portions. The woman working was really nice and had a friendly personality.

What a great way to start the day with a nice ham and cheese omelette $10.50 from Fog City Cafe. They used sliced ham as supposed to diced ham with a lot of cheese. The wheat toast is not buttered. The star of this dish for me was the seasoned potatoes. The chef did a good job with my omelette and I didnt feel too full to go back to sleep. Staff is friendly and I love how clean the restaurant is. Good job everyone at Fog City Cafe.

I delineated about leaving a review, but the owner was hostile towards me and my husband. Without going into a long detailed explanation, I just have to say, it was the worst service I have ever experienced in my adult life. There food was subpar at best. Someone had completely opened their cream (either another customer who thought it was funny or an incompetent employee), and even though a cup of cream went into my coffee at no fault of my own, the owner was hostile and did not want to replace my coffee, which would have been an easy fix had the waitress poured coffee off of the top and added new. I usually love supporting women-owned businesses, but not this one. My husband and I will not be subjected to harassment based on our race or ethnicity. BYE.

With a little more seasoning, the scrambled eggs with potatoes would’ve been perfect. The egg croissant was great and café latte was amazing. Also, super sweet team/great customer service.

I dont think this review would do this place justice. I l ordered oatmeal( which I doubt is what this place known for) and it was subpar: it felt too watery and more like cereal. Food: 2/10. The ambience was dark and had a strong “cooking / toasting smell”. It didnt feel that nice as I was planning to sit there for some time.

Ended up in Dale City because of connecting flight issues. Fog City Cafe and the incredible, kind, talented staff ended up being my daily ritual for coffee and normalcy.Foods great, coffee is great, and the cafe is charming. It’s a gem.

Had a pleasant experience here at the store. The front cashier staff greeted me when I entered. I ordered a small coffee and two smoked salmon toast about $20 total. It is my second time coming to this cafe. The food and the service have been consistent both times.

Amazing good food for a great price. Everything in the pictures came to 14.00 with a tip included. Friendly and attentive staff, family owned business. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Was excited to try this place, has great reviews, but soooo disappointing … they must be way short handed so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, normally this level of service and poor quality food deserves a 1 star rating but truthfully we were not impressed. Arrived at 10am, took quite a while to be noticed and greeted, finally ordered our food, and then waited 45 minutes. They weren’t that busy or so it seemed. Food was lukewarm when we finally got it and just ok tasting. I think it might’ve been ready for a while because it was just sitting on the counter when I asked where our order was. Tuna melt pictured. Also had an egg and cheese croissant which was mostly oily and the cheese was sliced cheese?? Probably won’t be back.

Everyones plate looked excellent. I made a mistake and ordered off of a picture that was mislabeled as enchiladas but was actually baleadas. None the less it was good. I recommend if youre in town for a visit. Staff and atmosphere were top notch.

This cafe is a very much needed place in the neighborhood. As much as I love having ethnic options, sometimes I need a salad for lunch. And coffee!!! Very few spots in Bay Area make such a great latte. And they have an oat milk for it! This is a win win situation for me.Slowly but surely I am trying every option they offer and all of them exceptional. The salads are very special each with an interesting twist. I am talking about super trendy places level with $25 salads special.I will definitely be a regular there.It would be nice to be able to order online and come to pick it up so I dont have to wait there.

A rare find: delicious and appropriately priced. The panini was well made and perfect for breakfast. The chai latte had great flavor and a wonderful creamy texture. The cafes interior is dated / spartan but still comfortable and clean. The couch up front was particularly nice to sit and watch the world go by while the order was being prepared. I was pleasantly surprised and will certainly be back for a return visit.

My husband and I have been coming here for about a year. Baleada, enchiladas, and egg panini are all regular favorites. Great coffee as well, recommended the cortado. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Very fair prices.

The service here is incredibly inconsistent and for my part, incredibly frustrating. I entered around midmorning and it was fairly busy, with the majority of the tables already seated and eating, with just a few people milling around waiting to order. Once I had my chance to, I ordered two coffee drinks and two breakfast sandwiches. The drinks were ready within 10 minutes, which is fair, because there were some orders ahead of me, but the food took well over 45 minutes to be served to me.I sort of lost track of time after my drinks were delivered, because I even asked the young man shortly after when my food would be ready and he said, Soon. It was around this time I had noticed that a group of five men walked in and walked to the counter to make their orders. They sat at a table directly next to the bar and were making conversation. About 15 minutes later, each of them was being served their drinks and plates of full breakfast. There were others too, another couple who had entered after me, ordered, and were given their takeaways before I got mine. I asked again, where is my food and I was told, Soon.Needless to say, the five guys were finishing up their food when I finally got my two sandwiches. I had been waiting for about an hour by this point.I certainly hope no one else has had or will have this kind of experience with this restaurant, but it would be wise to consider eating elsewhere. Especially when it is busy. I know I will never be eating here again, thats for sure.

The food is amazing, and their menu is very reasonably priced, and they have really good espresso drinks. Staff were really kind, and the chef was super enthusiastic about the food that he was serving. I’m new to the neighborhood, and it felt like a really welcoming space. I’m really excited to spend more of my free time here.

Came here two mornings in a row for the excellent service and tasty food. Would definitely recommend visiting if in the area. Our group had the Baleadas, Ham and Cheese Omelette, salad, oatmeal, scrambler and Egg/Bacon/Cheese Bagel sandwich. No one was disappointed in their meal. Asked for their house salsa which was delicious!!!

The coffee was just okay, I got a vanilla latte and the vanilla syrup was pretty gross. Food was really gross, took over 45 minutes for a croissant with an egg and cheese on it, food was cold when I got it, and was just covered in grease. The cheese they use is processed square cheese and it tasted awful.

This place has amazing service ! we tried the baleodas, substituted the chorizo for chicken and they were amazing ! i tried their club the first day and it was 10/10 . we also got their vanilla lattes that were 10/10, we got more to go . we had to come back the next day . if you are in the area you HAVE to come here .

I came here on a whim one morning when I was desperate for coffee. I had no idea that I would have the best coffee I have ever had. I love coffee, and spend way too much on my addiction. If youre not already addicted, this place will do it. I drove from San Francisco up to Seattle, and this was hands down the absolute best. I dream about this coffee. The food is pretty good too. The staff was very friendly both times I went. Im heartbroken that I dont have one in my place of residence, but Fog City has convinced me to move to the PNW. Its that good.

Super cute cafe with good food, excellent coffee, very nice staff, and a relaxed chill vibe.Drinks: We got a drip coffee, cappuccino, and iced dirty chai; all great, especially the cappuccino! I am into fancy coffee and was delighted with how good it was. They didnt advertise what coffee they use, so next time I want to ask where they get their beans. Prices were Bay Area standard but worth it IMO.Food: Order at the counter and brought to the table. We went for some standard breakfast stuff: eggs with potatoes, grilled chicken apple sausage and toast. My one complaint was that the toast was good bread but didnt come with butter, but I didnt ask for any so thats on me 🙃 French toast was good stuff, cinnamon in the batter, and came out looking beautiful with fruit and Nutella drizzle. Chicken apple scramble came with a tasty veggies (zucchini, tomato, spinach). Food came out with Tapatio and what looked like house hot sauce; it was only lightly spicy but I was into the flavor. They also serve some Latinx food, which I want to try next time we go. And prices were good!Space: For seating theres a window bar and a couch in the front, and a couple small tables further back. Cute decor. I didnt check for wifi but someone was working on a laptop when we went.Will be checking this place out again, def coming back for that good espresso!!

I was in the area and saw this place. I tried their Iced Oatmilk Latte and its one of the best. Im coming back to try their Baleada which is made with handmade flour tortillas. Parking is limited. Great customer service.

Excellent sandwiches, salad, and breakfast. My faves are the egg panini, veggie sandwich, spinach and strawberry salad, and french toast. The side salad is also really good, which normally is not my thing. The grilled cheese and avocado toast are meh, but fine, I can get those elsewhere.

Ordered a hot chocolate and a Palmier cookie. The staff didnt know what a Palmier was, when I called it by name. Cafe was super cold inside, and did not wipe off tables in between guests, so during Covid-19, a little concerned.
