Fogo de Chão comes through with another established Brazilian steakhouse. The service was the highlight here for this particular one that just opened. The rest is everything that you expect from a high-end buffet of meat goodness. I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowd and for some reason the meats were cooked better. Later on in the evening they seemed a little on the over cooked side. Dessert was terrific and the drinks were decent. A great addition to Bay Street.

Fogo de Chao is a great place to receive service, but I would not suggest dining in if you’re looking for affordability. This restaurant is all about fine dining, so the menu prices are very high. They only offered three appetizers, the cheapest being six pieces of shrimp over ice. The taste was very lackluster and somewhat disappointing, and the sauce that came with it tasted like plastic. The Fogo de Chao “experience” was about $70 per person. I would rate an exceptionally lower rating if it wasn’t for the friendly servers, specifically Audrey and Silvia. They were very kind and hospitable towards me and my partner. Overall, food was a 2/5, but service was a solid 5/5 for us.

Fogo de chao never disappoints me. So happy they are now available in Emeryville! I had it in Las Vegas and I like this petite version even more! Food is tasty and colorful as usual (LOVE their fruit selection), service is on the top notch, and the festival vibe is great! We had the weekend brunch with all you can eat meat, and were very satisfied.

Went here for my 31 birthday and I am so happy that I chose this restaurant. It is 100/10 the food was good. Everything was amazing even the drinks the cream Brulé was also good. That was my dessert from the restaurant. It was lovely.. I will be back.

I had a better experience in the S.F location. Meats were definitely limited. Food wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. For Example, the honey and cheese wasn’t hot at all. Just killed my experience. This was the first time going to a place where I didn’t flip my card red because they barely came by. Service was poor. I couldn’t find my waiter or waiters.

Nice new Fogo!The food was outstanding, with even more higher end cuts than usual for Fogo. Maybe theyre skewing up to make a good first impression, but it worked!Service was very attentive, and they checked to see that wed gotten all the cuts of meat we wanted to try.The restaurant is newly remodeled and the seating is comfortable. Its not too loud, and the tables are arranged radially around the kitchen so you can see (and smell) the meat cooking, so no table is so far that the meat is gone before the servers reach you.

5/5 recommend this place for a birthday, office holiday party, family gathering, date, etc! The interiors are beautiful and their service was EXCELLENT! When I spoke to their hostess, Kylie, to confirm the reservation, she made a point to ask if we needed a high chair or booster. Nowadays, it is very rare for nicer restaurants to take children into consideration. Everybody was friendly and helpful!We went for brunch and the food was amazing. Aside from the usual churrasco experience and the salad bar, they also had a waffle and omelette station.Ill definitely be back again!

Just experienced an unforgettable dining adventure at Fogo de Chao with some close friends, marking our belated birthdays. The food was so delectable it left us happily overwhelmed. The evening was made even more special thanks to our waiter, Ian, who provided exceptional service, and Guilherme, whose charisma added to the delight as he ensured a continuous supply of savory meats. Fogo is our go to restaurant for celebrating our anniversary. Unfortunately the customer service here was almost obsolete. We were greeted by the waitress who took our order and told her we wanted to start with waters. We went almost 10 minutes with no water while she walked past our table and served others completely ignoring us. Finally a second waitress came and brought us waters. After that we did not interact with any other servers for the rest of our time there which was a total of 1.5 hours(with no water refills) When we were done they took all plates and silverware and we sat there again for almost 10 minutes until someone brought us more water and we asked for the check. This was the worst customer service experience we felt like we were being ignored and it was a Saturday at 3 so not a full restaurant. The food was amazing as always.

Stopped in for a glass of wine before going to the movies. We sat at the bar and almost immediately were greeted. We ordered and said we are just going to have some wine and go so bring the check whenever. Our wine was brought to us, but the glasses were still obviously wet. My glass still had lipstick on it…gross. So I drank my wine out of my water glass and we sat with no one bringing us the check for 20 minutes. Waived down server and go out check. I guess they still have a few wrinkles to iron out, but you’d think there would be a higher standard at a place like this. Might be back in a few months when they’ve got it together. It looks really nice inside tho!

I will be DREAMING about the meat from here for weeks if not months to come. We went here for a birthday dinner. At first we were a little apprehensive about the cost of dinner (the all you can eat full experience was priced at $76 per person) but after getting there and eating there I will happily open my checkbook and credit card for them. Every SINGLE THING WE ATE was delicious. The salad bar was extremely clean and well stocked, everything was fresh and delicious, no sad soggy food there. They had high quality smoked salmon, prosciutto, dragon fruit, papaya. There were 2 soup offerings and both were AMAZE BALLS. The MEAT, OH MY GAWD THE MEAT. I will fully admit I only ate beef because if Im spending that much who wants stupid plebian chicken right? Every single piece of meat, no matter the cut was melt in your mouth tender. The crispy pork belly with honey and lime (sounds weird) was LIFE CHANGING.FREE FOOD: NOW FOR THE REAL LOW DOWN they give you so much dang food for free with your paid meal, we got polenta, fried plantains, cheddar with honey (which was a spiritual experience), mashed potatoes and cheddar tapioca bread balls (also life changing).SERVICE: It was UNREAL how good the service was here. I feel like since COVID happened service in the food industry is nonexistent but here it felt like seriously 50 servers per table. Not in the obnoxious go away type service, but everytime I could even think about possibly needing a server they were there. AND it seemed like they actually WANTED to be there. Every server was super nice and happy. I would pay extra just to get this level of service at other places.If youre wondering about cost FORGET ABOUT IT. Think about if if you go Outback Steakhouse you would be ordering prime rib for around $40, but Fogo you prime rib is like one of their WORST cuts, you can order ONLY filet mignon for your entire meal and UNLIMITED TO BOOT. Im not sure how they dont lose money but Im going back again and again.Definitely not an every day meal kind of place but for any special occasions this will be my go to place.

Amazing service, they all come to you with a smile. The food is delicious and it is so non stop that we had to flip to red to have enough time to eat otherwise there was no room on the plate. 10/10 would recommend

We waited more than an hour to be seated even though we had a reservation. The meat picanha that most of the group chose was terrible and those who ordered chicken got it because we asked for it and were almost ready to come. I dont recommend it at all.

First time at Fogo de Chao, the meat is really excellent, the picanha is the best. Highlight to the gaúcho Guilherme, he was extremely lovely with us and told us everything about types of meat, super recommended, it’s an experience!!

I like to think of my self as Brazilian steakhouse connoisseur Ive been to dozens over the years and this one was solid the food good just the hot bar was cold which was disappointing but the.meat was pretty good nice cuts good flavor However the star of the show was service the outstanding staff Ive never experienced anything like it they were kind quick and courteous I appreciate them so many smiling faces it made my Thanksgiving wonderful 😀 thank you for such a great experience.

This happened on 12/09/23 we made a reservation at 9:00 pm for my sister birthday celebration we show up and still had to wait at the door for about 35-40 once we we’re on our table we had to wait for another 35-40 for the waitress to attended our table that’s not it we also ask for a birthday cake while he was taking our order to please bring before we we’re done eating didn’t happen I guess they forgot about it regardless we still tip the waitress first and last time!! the food wasn’t that great and service was worst!!!

An unusual delay when serving barbecue meats, at least 15 minutes to bring a piece of meat, and we ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for meat to be brought so we can eat it. after waiting so long to eat meat when it arrived at our table we tasted saltless, tasteless meat! It took time to roast meat and serve it. But there were many employees in the room who waited on tables. It seemed to me more like a lack of people management. The same person who made the barbecue served the table. While other employees walk around the room, they are all very friendly. This is the only strong point of the restaurant, super friendly staff!!! but there is a lack of management.It wasnt a good experience.
