Folsom Palace has excellent food! Every fish we try is outstanding and rich in flavor. This is my new favorite for Chinese food, nothing else comes close. Will be back frequently, make sure to call ahead it is busy for a reason!

Decided to try this place last minute and did did not disappoint! The customer service was awesome and the food even better. It is a little pricey but the portion are worth the price. Each plate has enough to feed 2-3 people. I highly recommend the lemon chicken if you are a fan of sweet and sour chicken. We will definitely go back.

We love this location and am so glad to find a quality go-to Chinese restaurant. The dining room is beautifully decorated and it really adds to the ambience and creates an inviting and pleasant setting to enjoy dinner with family.The food is always consistently good here, from the fried rice and noodle dishes to the chicken, beef, and seafood entrees. Everything weve tried has been flavorful without being greasy or overly salty like other establishments. This is our defacto go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. We will be back soon.

Great place! Great service! Went to the Citrus Heights location for dinner and really enjoyed our experience. The owner was very inviting and accommodating. The food was delicious! The place is absolutely beautiful! You can tell they have put a lot of time and energy into this restaurant. All around great place!

Great atmosphere, food was amazing, flavors were so delicious. Even the water was actually really good. Clean bathrooms, with good soap that didn’t dry out your hands. The “Hong Kong Bird’s Nest” was absolutely amazing. Very rich in flavor. Everything cooked to perfection. Good veggie potstickers, loved the Basil Thai pork. Everything was so good, smelled wonderful. Staff was very nice, and seemed to actually enjoy being at work. Love the lighting and ambience as well.

It’s rarely that I am blown away by any particular restaurant, but our experience tonight at Folsom Palace in Citrus Heights was incredible. The food choice was expansive and delicious, the service was impeccable and the decor was remarkable and modern. Definitely will visit again.

We had a delicious dinner at the Sunrise location. We had 6 different items and all of them were wonderful. The wor wonton soup was so good! The orange pieces at the end of the meal reminded me of eating at an Asian restaurant when I was young. A nice touch!Cant wait to go back.

We ordered over $100 of take out. We received 1 packet of soy sauce, our food was burned, and the food has gone down hill. When we actually ate there before the food was very good and well not burned. Is it that they didn’t care because they knew we would be home when we realized they gave us terrible food and no napkins or utensils and 1 packet of soy sauce. We will never eat here again.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant opened by a great chef from the Bay Area who lives and works here daily. And takes care of customers, kitchen and overall mood. Finally someone with good heart and brains opens a decent Asian restaurant in Sacramento. So hard to find such a good food and outstanding decor with classic music in the background. Highly recommend this family business to anyone who appreciates the art of food and its delivery. Bravo

Very clean and beautiful restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted fresh. I highly reccomend the lemon chicken with fried rice. The chow mein is also very savory and delicious. We ordered pot stickers and calamari that came with there own in house made sauces. All of the staff is friendly and attentive. One of the cooks checked on us and told us about how they cook their food fresh every morning and even use organic ingredients to make their dishes! Worth every penny trying this place out :)

A recent addition to this community with a lot of delicious dishes on the menu. Chow mein and rice is always fresh and steamy which is a definite addition to all your entries. Orange chichen and crystal fish are also a must buy if you like you Chinese fry entries. We also have honey walnut prawns which is a great sweet desert replacement.

Beautiful restaurant. Order takeout today, the severs are knowledgeable and friendly. They suggested a few items for me to try as I am a first time customer. Very tasty kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, and shrimp fried rice. In my opinion, the best tasting Chinese food in the area. Highly recommended!

Been searching for a good Chinese/Asian restaurant in the area for a while, and finally found one. Advertises as fusion themed, healthy ingredients (less oil, no MSG). Menu is a mix of Chinese, a bit of Korean and Thai dishes - diverse with lots of choices. Large portions and they do not use much oil - the spring roles were not greasy, nor were the other dishes we ordered. The pancakes for Moo Shu Pork were incredibly thin. Fried rice was perfectly done, and has a nice mix of vegetables. The other dishes we ordered were all great, nicely plated. The restaurant is small, and the kitchen takes up the back half and is separated by a glass partition, so you can see what’s going on. Good to see that it is all spotlessly clean. Very good service as well. You get a little plate of cold orange slices when you a done - a nice finishing touch. Enjoyable dinner, not overly expensive either.

Amazing staff, amazing food, in an upscale but relaxed setting. Modern lights and aesthetics, smooth jazz and piano playing, with some classic antiques in shadow boxes on the wall.Food was stellar. Huge selection. Predominantly chinese, smattering of other asian dishes. Big portions.Host was a blast.Whether family or date night, I would recommend.

I’ve tried pretty much every Chinese restaurant in Citrus Heights and this is by far the best Chinese in the area. The chow mein has that wok smoky flavor with crunchy sprouts and just the right chewy noodles. The salt and pepper shrimp is so crispy and seasoned perfectly. The soups are all good esp the sizzling rice soup which has that deep savory Chinese chicken broth. The Hong Kong thin noodles has that gooey sauce that meshes so well with the crispy noodles and bokchoy. The white sauce they use in the dishes is that classic Chinese American sauce. All in all it’s the perfect Chinese American place that you remember. Oh and the staff is amazing and it’s a semi-open kitchen so you hear all the clanging of the woks and the sizzle which just adds to the atmosphere without being intrusive.

This place is a hidden gem, as it is a high class lunch/dinner establishment in the middle of a renewed strip mall, wow! Unexpected! Decor is immaculate and professional. Seating comfortable. Very clean and neat. Zane, the owner, was ultra nice and welcoming. He was energetic and aimed to make us feel good. It felt like a family member welcoming you to the dinner table.The food was spectacular and the portion sizes were excellent! We ordered pot stickers, bbq teriyaki chicken, black pepper chicken on an iron plate, and chicken vegetables. Everything came out great with distinct flavors. It was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time.The atmosphere was nicely done and felt great for a nice dinner or a date night.Definitely highly recommend it!!!!

This place if super good. Moved to the Sacramento area last year and have been looking for good Chinese food. I found some decent places but just couldnt find a place that compared to my favorite places back in the bay. Then, we found this Folsom Palace and Im good now. This is my new Chinese food spot moving forward. Soup was delicious, the orange chicken is frickin good, fried rice is good, dumplings are good, everything was super awesome good. Great staff, nice owner, pleasant ambiance. So happy I found this place and I really liked it. Of course, everyone has their own opinion and taste but this place is exactly what I was looking for. Im ready to eat.

I went there for lunch today for Mothers Day & I cannot remember when I had service as good as this. They were so friendly and so attentive it was amazing. Even if the food was mediocre I’d still go back there again because of the service. As for the food, it was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a very long time. It was all fresh and so damn delicious.

Incredible experience. Someone who was born in the Bay Area and has had some excellent Chinese food in her life has made it difficult to find good Chinese food in sac area. But Folsom Palace exceeded my expectations, I have nothing bad to say. Fantastic pork dumplings, chow mein and sweet and sour pork. So happy to have found this place!

A wide range of Asian food, all beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious, from Peking Duck to Malaysian Green Beans and Tofu.Best of all a local family owns and operates this restaurant. They have two other locations and I was driving half an hour to get to the Folsom location, now its a 10 minute jaunt. We waited more than 2 years for this location to open and it was worth the wait.

On multiple occasions I have come in to order take out, and each of those times I found it difficult to place the order, as any change (such as not wanting a specific ingredient) seems to stall the entire ordering process to a halt. A simple ingredient omission shouldnt break down the entire ordering process. There have even been a few occasions where I was understood so little, that my dish was still made with the ingredient I didnt want. This food can be very delicious, but it is rather expensive, and for the price I would like it to be made correctly and to order.

Many times that I have come in to place an order,the front counter host cannot understand what I want to order, I cannot eat certain things, I even write down my order precisely and specifically, and I get home and the items are not removed from my food..this food is quite delicious, but also very expensive.Maybe having people that can understand what is being said would be helpful in their quality of customer service.
