Folsom Palace Asian Bistro in El Dorado Hills

We are new to the area, and looking for good Chinese food. This place did not disappoint. The chicken chow mein had a yummy smokiness too it, walnut prawns were flavorful with a hint of orange in the sauce, and the sesame chicken was crispy and flavorful as well (not too spicy either). The diningroom was super clean and had a great ambience to it, will definitely bring our friends and family here when they come to visit. Try Folsom Palace, you will be happy you did!

Weve enjoyed their food. The Honey Walnut Prawns is our favorite! We also love their fried rice! Wed probably come here more often if it wasnt so expensive! It would be appreciated if theyd give seniors a discount!

We typically order on line to go. 99-cent fee for on line order. Menu prices higher than before when they were already high. $11 appetizers now $13.95. Food prepared nicely and good quantity. I’d be more inclined to dine at the restaurants using their outdoor patio but it faces the parking lot which is usually busy.

Some of the best Asian/Chinese food Ive had. The Mongolian beef on iron plate is amazing. Everything tastes fresh. Yes its more expensive then your typical Chinese place but its worth it. Also their food is actually spicy when they say it is which is an added bonus.

Best Chinese Restaurant in El Dorado Hills. Tucked between Raleys and The UPS Store, Folsom Palace Asian Bistro is a hidden treasure. Impeccably clean, kind servers and everything on the menu is delicious. All their dishes are made from scratch and you can taste the fresh, high quality ingredients. Their lunch is a great bargain. Dinner is pricier but you get family style portions. Were so lucky to have this place so close to where we live!

A great, new addition to El Dorado Hills. Located near Hwy50 next to Raleys, this is a cozy spot with indoor and outdoor tables. Modern, bright and fun interior. Ingredients are high quality and very fresh, and everything we ordered came out quickly and steaming hot.We tried the hot & sour soup first. It was noted as spicy and definitely was, a perfect choice for cool weather. Next the spring rolls and potstickers. Tasty, though a little heavy on the dough for the potstickers. Both were very large portions. Our mains included chicken chow mein (northern style with thin noodles), pork fried rice, sesame chicken, lemon chicken and honey walnut prawns. The prawns were huge! Rice couldve used a little more flavor while the noodles were a little heavy on the sauce. But, overall all items tasted good, and the menu was extensive so plenty to try out. If youve never been, definitely a spot worth checking out.

Excellent array of dishes on the menu. Freshly made of quality ingredients, generously apportioned, & carefully packaged for take away service. This is our first visit & we will surely return. Yummy 😋Second visit just as Yummy!MooShu Pork, Japanese Teriyaki Beef, Chicken Vegetable& brown rice. Menu boasts lots of spicy dishes, too, for those who are still game!

This was a great Chinese restaurant! Reallly enjoyed my meal...and sampled the other dinners my companions had.Calamari was good; bed of cabbage it came on was REALLY good!Hot & Sour soup was on point. Also had Kung Pao Chicken and Black Pepper Beef...everything was delicious!It was a busy night and food came out quickly...maybe could have had one more server there to keep up; but overall it was a great meal.

Zane is the best and his food you can taste the love! 5 stars all the way! Can’t wait to go back.
