Hmm....How do I describe Fongs kitchen...Hmm...ok I got it!! Whenever my family hits the road for a new destination, we always ask ourselves, I wonder where the locals eat? And like always... the locals try to keep it a tightly locked secret... Thats exactly what Fongs kitchen is. Its a hidden gem of AMAZING Chinese food. The wife and I have no problem splitting a meal....its almost too much food! The prices are so low....I sometimes wonder how they are making money? This place is a MUST TRY. Trust me...you wont be disappointed!

Very out dated building. Employees take their time. Food is good, but not all dishes are made traditionally. Some dishes look questionable, but taste decent (chow mein)

I got the number one, extra crispy noodles and light bean sprouts. This plate is really tasty😋 and came with a lot of food. Next time Im going to order it without all the vegetables. But other than that it was so good and this was my first time trying this place out definitely will recommend it.👍

Given the location, and condition of the restaurant, I was very happily surprised with how great tasting the food was. Im always on the lookout for good Chinese. The chow mein / chop suey sauce is tasty. They did put a heaping pile of sprouts on the chow mein but thats fine by me lol

Ordered chicken salad. The lettuce was wilted and soggy. The chicken was covered in batter and deep fried. Then there was pineapple in it. Yuck, yuck, yuck!!! I paid almost $10 for this mess, so I had to choke down a few bites and tossed pretty much the whole container.

I don’t live in Fresno anymore but wow 🥲 I love their food. Been eating with them since I was very young. I love their fried shrimp, and I love their plate sizes. If it wasn’t for me living 2 whole states away I’d eat there as often as I could. Thank you guys for the many awesome years of service!!! I hope I get to visit soon ❤️

The food is good, the prices are great, but if cleanliness is your thing.....might wanna pass on this place. Also we ordered a Pepsi, but they had coke....so instead ordered a root beer. Was brought both a coke and root beer and was told dont worry about coke since it was her misunderstanding, however it showed up on our bill. My bf was already feeling gross because it was hot and greasy everywhere he moved, so we left payment on table and left. But like I said Good is tasty, large portions and inexpensive. Nice staff.

Very affordable place to eat. You get a very large plate loaded with food. It Tastes very good. Always people eating there when I went which is a clear sign that the food taste good. Only complain is the food is loaded with oil; everything seems to be fried. Immediately after eating I feel full and get some kind of weird headache, and a feeling I got a lot of oil in one meal. It is still worth eating there specially occasionally with a loved one. But for weekly basis I will hold off on that due the frying of every single food item on the plate. Over all a good place to hang out eat and chit chat with your partner or family. The staff does seem rushed due to the high volume of orders but it is fine and understandable. Very nice servers.

I have lived in Fresno for decades and I have some how overlooked this place. We ate here this evening and found it to be a pleasant restaurant. The staff was also pleasant. My son and I enjoyed our Orange Chicken with steamed rice. I was not a big fan of the pan fried noodles. The portions are large as mentioned by other reviews. Yes, they could probably do a better job cleaning the carpets under the tables.

Nasty food right out the gate. The sweet and sour pork is dry and and tate like fish, and the pork fried rice has no taste and the pork in it is really salty. I guess to make up for having no flavor in the rice. They dont have personal plates, and for the price not worth it.

We ordered take out while visiting from out of town. The inside of this place is very dirty and beat up. The food was simply put not good. The egg rolls arent egg rolls, they have a very thick deep fried batter and the filling was black. The fried rice was mixed with white steamed rice. For me it was all inedible.

By far one of the best chinese food restaurant places in town!!! The customer service is excellent, the food is hella good (no lie). I drive 4.8 miles to this place passing up Golden Dragon, Tea Garden,& Marks kitchen. I will admit the build isnt the best but if I ever came across some big $$....Id renovate it for them and wouldnt even ask for anything in return except they continue to do what they do! I usually love this place.. But recently thye have been messing up on our orders.. Giving us totally wrong food items.. And today.. We got take out.. Ordered Orange chicken over noodles. With other different orders, I didnt check the plate before i left.. Got all the way home and the plate had no noodles. So i had to drive all the way back.
